Summary:

We all believe that Edward and Bella are meant to be together...but what if there’s more to that than meets the eye?

What if there are forces at work that they don’t understand? How will they cope with events that have no discernable meaning?

This story starts out two weeks before Bella and Edward’s wedding. But, right away, things go wrong. They struggle with mishap after mishap, all the while wondering if they’re destined to be at the center of conflict and angst.

All the major characters of Twilight appear. Canon couples. Lemons in various chapters. This is a more realistic view of Edward and Bella’s relationship before the wedding. He certainly wouldn’t carry her off to a desert island alone, having never even touched her. They would have experimented a bit.

Eventually all characters get their Happily Ever After. I just drag them through hell before we get there. No characters die before their time.

And I’ve adhered to canon up until the story starts—Post Eclipse. After that, it diverges from SM’s version. So...no Renesmee. No pregnancy.

I’ve poured my heart and soul into this story. It took me over a year to complete. I thought about it constantly. For that hard work and diligence to form, grammar and style, I’d like just one tiny thing from you, the reader.

I’d like a review. If you love it, if you hate it, if you’re just indifferent and will never look at it again, I’d like to hear that. It’s not a lot to ask. So...I’ll say thanks in advance for the wonderful reviews you’ll leave after you read each chapter!

The day of the wedding finally arrived.  Loved Bella's lies regarding the bite on her leg.  Appropriate considering the wolves and the vampires relationship.  Terrible Jacob couldn't make the wedding.  Sue caused a lot of trouble and stress for Bella as well as Charlie.  It took a lot for Charlie to deal with all the information given him by Alice.  But his words were my favorite from this chapter.  “Promise me you’ll take care of her, Edward. She’s all in the world that I care about." Charlie resolved to losing his daughter forever.  I know once Edward changes Bella they can't come back to Forks, but can't after a period of time can Charlie visit them?  It takes a special man to accept all that information and realize that his daughter's happiness would mean her being changed.  Love Charlie and his devotion to Bella.  He doesn't show it often, but always makes me cry when he does.  The wedding was beautiful.  Adored the idea of floral wreath with ribbons down her back and the description of her dress.  The gesture of giving a single rose to bride's mother and groom's mother is very symbolic.  We did that at our wedding also.  Surprised both mothers.  Now Edward and Bella are married.  Edward has been given the most marvelous gift of all.  His love being with him forever.  Esme and her emotions of Edward finally being happy and complete.

Author's Response:

I had a reader who advised me to explore Charlie's character further - what makes him tick, what he feels about Edward as a man, and did Renee leave him because he was withdrwan or did he get that way because she left. I like writing Charlie, and the next chapter will be Charlie and Jake, talking things over a bottle of scotch.

Unique premise to mostly EPOV.  Speaking with Jasper Edward realized needed to start some physical activities with Bella to prepare for the honeymoon.  the changing point was drinking the dying man's blood.  Edward became uninhibited sexually due to the awakening of the vampire within.  In the last 3 days he has multiple times lost his control and wanted to kill Bella.  His 17 year old hormones are raging,  Somehow he needs to harness the vampire monster and reduce the level of his lust.  Hard thing to do I know, but he almost changed her or drained her there.  He sucked the venom out this time.  How many additional times will he lose control.  It's intense, if he does kill her he'll die emotionally himself.  Looking forward to further updates as to where the story will go from here.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the great synopsis of my story. I couldn't have written it better myself. As for where the story is going, it just kind of writes itself. Somebody reviewed and said they were surprised when he bit her, and I was too! I'm just glad he didn't kill her!

I have no end yet. But with the amount of time I spend writing and thinking about this story, one will come to me. I just don't know it yet.

I look forward to more reviews from you! What were your fav lines? I liked the Jeopardy ones the best!

At least Alice and Edward have found Bella's location.  Bella sleeping in her motel room.  Alice takes the car back home.  Edward knocks on the door and finally Bella opens the door to talk to Edward.  Bella for the first time stands up and gives Edward an ultimatum to control himself between now, the wedding, until the transformation or everything is off.  So Edward having the difficulties since the human blood will have quite a challenge for the near future.  Bella's idea to correct the problem might work and might not.  I feel for Edward he has only done what a vampire would do.  He has had such control over himself until recently.  It will be hard for Edward.  Bella's opinions are valid to a point.  Yes he did bite her leg when he was losing control.  Bella should have been listening through all the time together things that Edward told her about him being a vampire.  Now we know why Bella visions through Alice are all fogging, nothing is definite at this time.  Wishing good luck to Edward to control himself so both their dreams to be together forever can happen.

At least Bella is acknowledging that it is partially her fault for the bite on her leg.  The wedding is in a few days and Bella wants to wait for the wedding looking forward to it.  She is doing it for herself, her parents, and Alice.  Edward wanted to elope.  Edward checked with Alice how it would be with Bella any danger.  Alice said as long as you don't get close to her neck.  Edward wanted to make love with her slowly rather than what happened in her bedroom.  Edward had to leave and run across the room into the bathroom to avoid biting her again.  Bella opened the window wider for fresh air.  After Bella did Edward a lap dance Edward passed out into blackness.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for continuing to read and review! You summarize the chapter brilliantly, but do you like it? i think you must, because otherwise you would just go on to something else, but I cannot tell from your reviews what you like or don't like about the chapter.

But thanks!

Edward going into a black out from his release.  Sure must have been intense.  How did Bella pick him off the ground to put him in a chair?  He is so heavy.  Of course, Bella got hungry had eaten in a while.  Ordered pizza, yeah love pizza.  Sweet having a picnic outside her room on the comforter.  My favorite part was Edward giving the delivery boy a huge tip to help his family.  Very unselfish son, using his tip money to buy groceries for his family.  Very kind and generous action on Edward's part and on the son's part very noble and honorable. Edward spent Bella's sleeping time reviewing his memories of Bella from the beginning to current.  The highlights of their budding and growing relationship.  Bella woke up screaming.  Sounds like where he bit her on her thigh is starting to change it into a vampire skin. But I thought Edward sucked out all the venom from her thigh. Looking forward to what Carlisle will diagnosis of her leg.  Also how will this effect Bella prior to the wedding and honeymoon?  From her thigh will the change spread throughout her body changing her?

Author's Response:

Thank you for your very thoughtful reviews. I had intended for Edward to remain in the chair, he says he woke up to a woman shaking him by the shoulders standing in front of him.

Several reviewers commented on Edward's generousity.

And...he thought he sucked out all the venom...we find out in ch 14 which is about half done.

So Edward when he bit her thigh during oral sex, didn't suck all the venom out of Bella's leg.  Her leg is changing into vampiric skin.  Bella might not make the 10 days until the wedding.  Carlisle's examination was if the venom in her system were to start to spread Edward needed to change her completely then. Her leg and the pain is worse.  She is starting to feel  the deep and intense fire within. Even with the pain in her leg the two of them (Edward and Bella) can't even stay away from each other or stop touching and thinking about their honeymoon and practicing now.  Not sure whether she will be changed completely by the wedding or not.  Bella would intimate any human if she did. His father is having a hard time with this change. Looking forward to what happens next.

Author's Response:

Thank you for your synopsis! Do you think she will make the wedding? When and where do you think Edward should change her?

Thanks for continuing to read and review!

Bella's leg where Edward bit her, the wound is expanding.  What does this mean?  What about the change in her smell? She smells like Bella but has added scents.  Is she changing inside gradually?  She is sleeping a lot more lately.  Edward should have reconsidered the game to play.  Bella really told him off and let her inner feelings when he left her.  I agree she did let him off the hook too easy.  Granted getting back was meant to be, but she needed to make him pay for all the pain.  Edward is asking where is this new Bella coming from.  If he would remember Bella was always the one who wanted to take their physical relationship to the next level.  Always wanting more from Edward and he was the one who would restrict their contact.  My favorite line was "If you didn't come back I would still be looking out the window each night."

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I love your synopisis of each chapter. The venom is working in Bella in unknown ways and freaking Edward out! But Bella needs to be careful with the sex, as she can push Edward off the edge without even knowing that he's already standing on the edge.

Lots of reviewers liked the line about the window. I tried to imagine what she felt when he was gone, looking for him out her window every night. I know how I would have felt if my Edward had left me. I would have been devastated in a major way.

Ch 16 is almost done...

Strange behaviors of Bella doesn't even remember their last encounter.  Edward is confused.  Alice had great news moving the wedding up earlier for Bella.  She'll have her last human experience with Charlie walking her down the aisle and marrying the man of her dreams.  Carlisle said her leg wound is the same.  As long as nothing gets her heart rate up the spreading should remain slow.  Giving Bella enough time for her wedding.  Now the decision as to where the change should occur, both options have good reasoning behind them.  One staying in Forks changing in Edward's bed, once the time has passed she'll recognize where she is and being familiar.  Two moving to Alaska with Denalis.  Jasper mentioned separate cabin and snow.  Edward considered snow could help with the fire burning her skin by laying into it.  The family would still be close and can take turns being with Bella.  Appears Edward has made up his mind as to the location and Bella has deemed as to when making love with Edward.  Looking forward to the beautiful wedding and Bella's reaction to the changed date on Sunday morning.  Good excuse to move the wedding up due to hotel error and it being irreversible.

Author's Response:

Edward doesn't think Bella remembers, but she does. She thinks he will be embarrassed by what she did and won't discuss it with him yet, so she feigned forgetting. Yeah, Alice is a miracle worker! I haven't given any thought to writing a beautiful wedding! I have never done anything like that before!

SM did such a spectacular job of the wedding in BD in my opinion. I guess it is coming up, and I better get busy!

Thank you for your extremely spot-on reviews. I really appreciate them!

Edward left with Jasper to buy Bella a new car.  Her leg is still in great pain.  Taking double dose of her pain meds.  Normal food and drink smells horrible to Bella.  Untasteful to her.  Not even pop tarts which are her favorite breakfast items. Alice  gave Bella's wedding dress it's last fitting.  The dress is beautiful and fits perfectly.  Alice went with Bella for her errands picking up Charlie's suit, grocery store, etc... Bella has packed all her belongings to move after the wedding.  Bella has no idea the wedding is earlier than she thinks.  Bella cleaned Charlie's house from top to bottom.  She will be cooking meals for Charlie to put in freezer to be heated by Charlie for later.  Wants to make everything easier for Charlie when they all leave for Alaska.  I think her leg changing is why food isn't appealing to Bella.  Will she need to be drinking blood or eating semi raw meat? Edward stopped by the house with Bella's new car.  A Bentley.  Bella will mention the parameters of Bella weren't kept.  But the talk with Alice may soften the blow and make Bella accept the car easier.  The jewelry for Bella I would imagine would be a gift from Edward.

Author's Response:

Again, thank you for your excellent synopsis of the chapter! Yeah, her transformation had begun, albeit very slowly, and she is losing the taste for human food. don't know about the drinking of blood thing, haven't gotten that far!

Next chapter has already 1000 words written, is Bella's reaction to her new car.

Thank you so much for continuing to read and review!

Amazed that Bella could finally take a gift from Edward.  Yes he did break her criteria by hundreds of thousands of dollars, but as Alice told Bella Edward has enough money he'll never use it all.  The money will last longer than the two of them together forever.  The car does sound marvelously beautiful to match both Edward and Bella.  Bella still needs to learn her own self worth as it is related to Edward.  After the test drive with Bella going over 100 miles an hour, Edward takes Bella home as she is sleeping.  Bella sleeps for 12 hours.  Exhausted from all the housecleaning she had done to get ready for her move out to the Cullens.  Since the leg is changing more each day regular food and beverages aren't appealing to Bella, is she ready for either raw food or just the blood?  During the night while Bella slept Edward was going through the times he and Bella were intimate together.  It was quite worked up so went into the forest to relieve himself.  Alice called something wrong over at Bella's with the wolves.  Sam had come to warn them I thought he didn't like Edward.  The other wolves were planning on attacking.  Sue was going to tell Charlie about the Cullens being vampires which puts them in danger of the Volturi.  The Cullens need to tell Sue how dangerous it is to let a human in on the vampire secret. Billy Black is looking for Sue to try and persuade her to change her mind in telling Charlie.  Alice's vision is of Charlie trying to shoot Edward.  In the end no one would win with the conflicts.  Edward talks with Jacob outside Bella's bedroom window.  Charlie arrives home.  Oh boy trouble is just beginning.

Author's Response:

As always, an excellent synopsis of the chapter. You seem to have grasped, again, the salient points. Sue can't tell Charlie, if the Cullens know she is going to. That info cannot be in their heads.

Next chapter nearly done, but this one was in the queue for validaton for 6 long days! It has never taken that long before. THere is lots of dialogue in next chapter so it has been challenging to write.

Thanks so much for cont. to read and review!

Charlie's home now.  Sue wants to tell him about Bella and the vampires.  Putting Charlie and the Cullens in danger with the Voturi again.  It was nice Edward gave Bella a few days ahead notice of the wedding date being changed to Sunday at twilight.  Jake and Sam were at the Cullens to discuss Bella's change which Sam had given permission.  The rest of the pack stated this broke the treaty and they would attack.  It was the pack who convinced Sue to tell Charlie the entire truth of Bella's fiance and his family.  Bella isn't eating human food at all stating it tastes like dirt.  Would blood work?  Now where would Bella being going now in the Volvo?  to see Sue? Or Charlie? Or to talk to the pack? Will be looking forward to the answers to those questions.

Sue has no right to tell Charlie anything.  Sue should be bound by her tribes treaty with the Cullens.  Sue talking about the Cullens wouldn't that break the treaty?  Charlie has been doing research on the Cullens and concerned that the facts are not connecting.  Bella is weaken each day.  She's not eating anything.  Carlisle has Bella on an IV.  When Sue made her decision to tell Charlie the Cullens were different, Alice saw it in her visions.  Alice said she saw Charlie coming to their house.  Edward mentioned to the family they will have to decide how much and what they are going to tell Charlie.  Charlie is in Chief Swan mode.  Who knows what Carlisle and the other Cullens will tell Charlie?  Charlie really doesn't want to know the truth.  He just wants to make sure his little girl will be safe.  Could possiblely cause additional problems with The Volturi if they find out another human is aware of vampires.  Sue is only hinting at part of the world Bella is involved in, she should also mention the boys are werewolves.  If you're going to talk about strange you have to discuss all sides of strange.

Author's Response:

I think the 'truth' Sue was alluding to was the whole truth. The chapter is nearly done. It was hard to find a balance of what I though he wanted to know and how to tell it.

Thanks as always for your insightful and thorough reviews

I am upset for Bella's pain learning her mom's inner thoughts were only of herself and her wants.  Not a thought of Bella anywhere.  Where he father's thoughts were all about Bella.  Too bad she didn't know that earlier she could have spent a lot more time living with her father.  The parent who really wanted and loved her.  The drive to the Cedar Inn was  quiet.  Alice and Esme did a wonderful job of redecorating the room.  It was gorgeous.  Loved the red carpet in the bedroom.  The orange and red striped pillows in the seating area.  Utlizing the color scheme through the bathroom and the patio.  I don't blame Bella for not wanting to stay there for a long time.  Surprise that Alice bought the Cedar Inn and is planning on redecorating all of the rooms especially the ones with kitchens.  Alice is just so great in all things.  Whether it's in fashion or in decorating.  Looking forward to the remainder of the honeymoon.

Author's Response:

After my house got flooded we redid it, with red all over and red and orange stripes...

It was fun to decorate that room. I would have done it exactly the same if it were me!

There are multiple parts of Charlie.  There is the part that wants to know it all.  Another part that only wants to know Bella will be happy and safe with Edward.  Another part that wants to remain in his happy ignorance state.  Still another that only wants to know enough to not truly understand.  Bella said she can't explain to him afraid for the danger to Charlie.  Still confusing.  Bella mentioned Edward pushed the vehicle away with his hand.  Charlie's thinking what does that mean.  We all know it means the Cullens are vampires.  Extremely strong, fast, immortal, cold blooded, and they drink blood to survive.  Not just any blood, but the blood of animals they hunt.  They avoid killing humans to survive.  They have principals and morals.   Sue called once Charlie left the Cullens with a promise if he comes back following day they will be honest and tell him what he wants to know.  Of course they told him whatever he wanted to know they would let him know their big dark secret.  Sue called and questioned if the Cullens told him anything.  He said some things, but not adding up correctly.  Sue promised to tell him all the details he still didn't know yet.  If anyone broke the treaty it was Jacob telling Bella on the beach about the Quiletes being descendents of wolves and the stories of the "Cold Ones".  He gave away the legends and what he thought were stories.  So Edward biting Bella or even the half dead biker didn't break the treaty it was already broken a long time before.  Will Bella walk down the aisle with Charlie or will she walk down alone to met Edward at the altar.  Either way Bella is going to marry Edward.  She has loved him from first site.  No matter the differences or similarities.  Charlie will just have to accept it.  Bella isn't backing down, Edward is all she wants out of life and death. Will be interesting to find out how much information Charlie will want to absorb before his capacity shuts him down.

Author's Response:

Thank you for paying such close attention to the chapter! Did you know that there was going to be a test later?

"Welcome to My Nightmare"  Alice Cooper.

Jacob broke the treaty first.  Yes Edward drinking blood of the biker wasn't the right thing to do.  Also biting Bella's leg wasn't right either.  It was good that Charlie heard the truth from Alice.  At least he cared a lot about her and trusted her.  The information was hard to hear and hard to believe.  Sounded like Charlie knew the legends (rumors) of the area long before Sue tried to educate him about them.  He just didn't believe it was true.  Charlie knew Bella loved Edward.  He saw how she mourned for him while he was away.  She left to rescue him in Italy.  She was only truly happy when she was with Edward.  Charlie had a lot of news thrown at him in a very short amount of time.  Especially without sleep to deal with any of it.  Whether he would show up at the Cullens at 6 pm. would remain a mystery.  Charlie loved Bella above all things.  Her happiness had always been the forefront in his mind.  I believe because Charlie knew Bella loved Edward and wanted to spend her life with him.  He would do what he had to do to make his baby happy and support her in her decision.  He doesn't want to lose her, but that's a subject he could still have time to discuss with her.  Still Sue is bound by her tribe not to discuss their supernatural nature either.  Both sides wanted to force the issue between themselves leaving Charlie and Bella in the middle.  So looking forward to Charlie's decision now that he knew the entire secret of the Cullens.

The flowers were described wonderfully.  I can imagine how they look inside and outside of the house.  Just beautiful.  Curious about what was in the box marked Fragile.  Hoping next chapter will provide that information.  Renee and Phil showing up and Bella's leg in shorts revealed her changing leg.  Renee is observant when you don't want her to be, but unobservant almost flighty at other times.  The question if Charlie will show up or not is still a mystery.  Bella's leg pain is burning now instead of just tingling pins and needles.

One of my favorite lines was "I’m Not Bossy, I Just Know What You Should Be Doing."

I think Edward and Bella should have a T-shirt made for her, so she can wear it when in preparations for her next big party/celebration.  She is bossy, but knows where every thing needs to go and what needs to be done.  Alice is a wonder and a whirlwind.

Bella is worried about her dad's reaction.  She is also wondering if they should let her mom know the truth.  Don't think that would be too wise.

Looking forward to the next chapter.  Getting excited about the actual wedding.

It was great to see how all of the major characters thought of all the changes that occurred once the truth was revealed.  The peace that Charlie found along with imprinting and finding love with Gertrude.  The total contentment of Edward and Bella.  The feelings of accomplishments from helping the people at La Push.  The feelings and thoughts of non fulfillment while traveling all over the world.  The joy of moving home to Forks.  It was great that Jacob was able to find his girl and settle down.  Opening his own auto shop.  Everyone has a happy ending.  I only have one question are the young men of the pack including Charlie still able to phase?

Author's Response:

Thanks for always synopsizing every chapter to perfection. I really appreciate it. I'm glad the story touched you!

The pack still phased. Charlie says at the end of his bit,

I still phase routinely with the pack. The feeling of freedom and strength eclipses anything I’ve ever experienced. Running with the wind blowing in my face and my heart thundering in my chest makes me feel more alive than I ever thought possible.

The reception was a wonderful party.  Appeared everyone enjoyed themselves.  I have to say my favorite part of this chapter was Great Aunt Clara when she went through the receiving line and when she gave Bella the heirloom necklace.  My favorite line was "Such a nice looking young man, Bella! If it were me, I’d have him horizontal every chance I got!"  Go Aunt Clara I agree 100% and I am with you.  Bella implied that was her idea as well.  Shocked Edward.  I don't know why, how many years has he heard women panting and fantasizing about him.   Granted he didn't like it, but that didn't stop them.  The goodbye between Charlie and Bella was beautiful.  Also with Renee, but I think Bella is actually closer to her dad.  I know she will contact him by phone, letter, or maybe email.  Leaving the party to spend their honeymoon at Cedar Inn.

Author's Response:

Bella will  be able to see Charlie again, as he knows about the Cullens. But not her mom. Bella 'hears' something in her mom's head that upsets her. I am bout half done with next chapter. Hopefully by this weekend!

The truth from Charlie was quite a shock.  The wolves were descendents from a vampire cured upon the tribes' land.  The hate between the wolves towards the vampires need to be buried.  Since the vampires are the reason they exist at all.  I still like the fact that Charlie made the wolves stop their attack towards Bella.  Charlie was able to reach Jacob and the others enough for them to return home and wait out the planet alignment.  Old Quil passing away was sad, but he lived to see all the prophesies fulfilled with a contented outcome.  His last words left a lasting impression on Edward.  When the vampires arrived at La Push for the funeral of Old Quil they noticed the way the tribe lived.  They all want to make their lives better.  Repairing/Refurbishing their houses complete with indoor plumbing.  Fixing any medical defect able to be corrected.  Improve and rebuild their medical clinic including have Carlisle spend 1/3 month there helping the people.  Bella wanted to improve their horrid library.  The whole family was in on this project of remodeling homes, fixing vehicles, enriching their lives with medical improvement, greater source of learning/knowledge.  General improving all the tribes' lives.  Instead of just existing having some luxuries as well.  Charlie moving to the reservation and retirement from police force.  It was great they gave Charlie the money from the man that technically killed him.  If Jacob didn't have the power to change Charlie he would have died there.  The Cullens' compassion for the people was amazing. Ending it with Bella and Edward in their hotel room where they spent their honeymoon before complete vampiric change was awesome.  Edward buying Charlie's house to keep it for himself and Bella.  It was just too many memories and events to give it up and allow someone else to change it.  Looking forward to the epilogue(s).

Edward is constantly warring inside himself.  Trying to keep the monster at bay and allow the man to love his wife.  Bella becoming bold on her wedding night surprised and delighted him (both entities of himself.)  The storm outside was nothing to the storm within the four walls of their suite.  Edward's mind was rushing through so many different scenarios of what could happen this night.  When the monster rose in his attempt to come to the surface, Edward backed from loving Bella to open the patio door and smell the fresh air outside.  Upon returning into the room he opened the window as well.  Turned on and primed, Edward approached Bella to love his wife.  He knew what he could do and what was forbidden until Bella's change was complete.  The draw of her blood was nearly overpowering to him and calling to him and the especially the monster inside.  He decided he loved his Bella too much to hurt her.  Bella's question of when Edward realized he loved Bella and he asked the same question.  Then he proceeded to love his wife thoroughly.  Appeasing the monster within as well as himself.  Watching and thinking as his wife fell into a deep sleep he thought about their future.  Worry that the next shoe will drop and their happily ever after will have another obstacle to overcome to be achieved or something will occur that will prevent it from happening because they are so close.  Murphy's Law is right.  So close and yet so far. Will they reach the finish line for their forever or will it be snatched from them before it occurs?  Only the next chapters will enlighten the reader with the answers.  Making love in complete darkness with barely being able to see and only have the sense of touch very sensual and arousing.  Bella definitely enjoyed her wedding night for sure.

Thanks for the wonderful synopsis! You know, my favorite part of the chapter was of them being in the dark! I thought that ws so so wonderful. I will drag these characters through hell and back, but they know have their HEA! In the end! ha.

I would like for you to try and guess the NEXT big thing that happens! It will blow you away. You WILL NOT see it coming! I am so ready to start writing it, but there is lots to do before...The whole  ride up to Alaska is a big question and answer period for them.

Appeared Bella slept most of the way to Alaska.  Did very much enjoy Rose's T-shirt shopping.  Really adored Emmett's new T.  Emmett throwing Edward similar to Bella's I'm with Stupid with the arrow.  My son has that T-shirt and his favorite time to wear it is when he's with me in public.  He finds it extremely humorous and chuckles most of the time we're together.  So Bella and Edward both having the same shirt only arrows pointing different direction.  I can imagine Carlisle trying to keep his face straight with the absurdity of the children before him.  Esme rolling her eyes where have we gone wrong.  Definitely something all mother's feel at times. Edward savoring each and every breath and beat of Bella's heart.  He knows the change is coming.  Edward on one hand can't wait for the change to be complete and on the other hand doesn't want to lose Bella as a human.  Bella wanted to be changed while making love so Edward could climax and ecstasy of drinking her blood at the same time.  Total physical release, satisfaction, and bliss for Edward.  Since Edward had already bitten her once and the venom had been in her system developed an allergy to his venom.  Since his venom was created by Carlisle, Carlisle was concerned anyone he changed would have same ingredient that Bella was allergic to.  That left only Alice and Jasper to complete the change.  Jasper flat out refused, understandable he has the hardest time staying on the veggie diet as it is now.  So Alice was elected.  Carlisle told her to suck Edward's venom out of Bella and he would tell her when removed and to insert her own venom.  Working as a team Alice was able to accomplish both tasks without the frenziness taking over her senses.  Bella screaming with the allergic reaction and finally with the totally burning sensation.  Placing Bella in the snowdrifts helped to ease some of the pain based on her screams diminished volume.  Edward will be moving her from drift to drift as her body melts through them quickly.  Very surprised that Alice was the person to change Bella into her future vampiric state.  It was a team effort between Alice and Carlisle.  I would imagine with Edward watching and caring over Bella for the majority of the days associated with Bella's change, any amount of things could occur.  Her heart could start to stutter and stop, being interrupted by any and everything.  Extremely curious what will be the next hurtle our favorite couple Bella and Edward will need to jump through as well as the entire Cullen family.  Looking forward to the next chapter.

Talk about pain for Bella.  With Bella's mind focusing on the pain and trying to keep herself calm and alert Edward was able to read her thoughts.  Bella wasn't able to have her mind block shield working.  She was in and out through the entire time.  She heard people talking to her now and then.  Alice talking about redecorating the motel rooms, office, common rooms, pool, playground, etc... Bella heard some of it.  Esme was talking about Edward prior to meeting Bella she only heard a portion of that conversation.  She wished she had heard more of it.  Just think how happy Edward was to hear her thoughts about the first time she saw him.  About their first kiss, etc....  What memories for him to get her reactions to those pivotal ones in the building of their relationship and their love.  Her thoughts about their wedding and their honeymoon.  Things Edward will cherish always.  He has his perspective and now has Bella's thoughts and feelings.  Finally she has gone through the pain/fire.  Looking forward to the reaction of Bella now that she has crossed to the other side.  She's a newborn.  Beautiful and hopely graceful.  But who knows graceful was never a strong suit for her.

I had a couple of favorite lines.  One of them one "Bella! It's me, love."  "Do you have a death wish Mr Cullen?" and then the second was Bella stating "What gives?" showing her filthy appearance.  Edward's response, "Practice, Bella.  Lots of practice."  Both are humorous and Bella's 1st newborn reaction to having someone sneak up behind her and possibility of stealing her prey.  The second Bella's upset about not being as tidy, neat, sparkling clean when feeding as her glorious handsome husband.  Bella's first time seeing everyone through her vampiric eyes.  The multiple colored facets of lights hurting her new eyes with its intensity.  Bella and Edward's first hunting trip together.  First time they make love as both vampires.  Sharing a kill for the first time.  Bella had experienced a lot of new firsts with Edward in the woods before rejoining the family.
