Title: Chapter 11: Date, Interrupted
Nice date...wrong guy. Rob definitely owes Madison another apology, this time sober. And, to make up for his poor behaviour, he could also insist on taking her to bed...oops...I meant...oh, hell, just let him take her to bed, lol. Or, at the very least, give the woman a sign that the reason he was out getting sloshed was because he was jealous.

Title: Chapter 12: Annoyance and Acceptance
Rob needs to give Maddie a sign he wants her. It's good that he's realizing it. But now he needs to share how he feels. I'm not saying he's got to tell her he's in love with her. I don't know that he's that far gone, yet. But let her know he wants more than the relationship they currently have. C'mon Rob, is a kiss too much to ask for?

Title: Chapter 14: Advice & Warnings
I got up this morning and discovered updates from two stories I'm reading, including this one. So, at 7 am I'm reading this update instead of getting getting ready for work. Addicted? Possibly, lol.
Ok, so I think strides are being made in the right direction. Madison is getting a clue. Rob is getting a clue. Now they just need to rub them together. I loved when Jackson told Rob that he and Madison were both ridiculous, haha. I'm also glad he told Rob that he...Rob, that is...kissed Madison.
My wish list for next chapter. I think Rob needs to tell Madison he wants her to quit seeing Kellan. Even if he doesn't, she should realize it on her own. Also, another kiss. This time, both wide awake, both totally aware of what they are doing. Yeah. That's what I want. However, I do realize that may not be what I get...lol. It is your story, after all. And, I'm enjoying it very much, thank you!

Things are definitely striding in the right direction. Rob's finally realizing how important Madison is to him and not just as a Personal Assistant. As for Madison, she's quite shocked by her reaction to his kiss and is dealing with all these new found feelings. As for Jackson spilling the beans on the kiss, Rob definitely needed to know. It's time he started acting on his feelings.
As for the wishlist. I can say, there is no kiss in the next chapter...but I think there's some much needed bonding elsewise. As for Kellan, we're coming up to that. Although, Rob does ask about him. I hope I don't disapoint ya in the new update. It is done and ready to go!! Thank you so much for the great review, I am thrilled that you're enjoying the story!!

Summary: Edward Cullen is a hot, bad, gangsta fella who is a new kid in the Chicago underworld. But refusing to pay his respects to the big, ruling Godfather, his arrival is not welcomed. Bella is said Godfather’s estranged daughter who fled his father’s world in an attempt at a normal life.
Both men keep clashing and bumping heads, Edward’s power grows rapidly, men are tired of the old regime, and so a sort of gangster war ensues. Bella is caught in the mayhem when she becomes a prisoner in the hands of her father’s most hated enemy and rival. With Bella as a prisioner, Edward knows her father will have no choice but to do as he is told.
But does Edward have other motives to capture Bella?

Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 - The Case
I think the first couple chapters show a promising start, however, I found it a bit difficult to read.
You said you have a beta, which is great, but there are still errors. There were a few sentences that really just didn't make sense; with proper sentence structure, I'm sure they could have been corrected. But, the biggest error was with punctuation. I noticed it especially with dialogue. Way too often, after the dialogue, you end it with a period when it should be a comma. And, there are times when there is no punctuation at all.
I'll keep an eye out for the next chapter. I'd like to see how the story moves along...and the writing! Author's Response: Thanks for reading, I appreciate the feedback. Well, somehow I missed the update for chapter 18...so I got to read two chapters at once...all caught up now.
Bella thinks she and Edward have some explaining to do. Hmmm, I don't know, but if I were Carlisle, not only would I be a gorgeous male, I would also be ecstatic to see Edward touching someone of his own volition. Therapy comes in many forms; it may not be always be traditional, and what works for one may not work for another. But when something is working, don't knock it...give it a try and see what kind of results it can yield.
And, for the record, I'm not male...but I was pretty excited to read about Edward and Bella holding hands. I hope Carlisle is too!

In regards to your comment about length of chapters...good for you for standing firm. I agree with you on not putting more stuff in just to make it longer. You have to keep in mind flow and continuity, and so many other factors. I think you're doing just fine! And if people want to read more, maybe they can save up a couple chapters to read at the same time, lol.
