Thirty something girl that has become obsessed with Twilight, Edward, Rob, etc. I would like to think that I wouldn't leave my family if He sent for me, but I can't be certain. I love the series because I don't have to deal with reality. If I read enough fanfic I can usually dream of Edward. What a great super power to have, dreaming of Robward at will! ; - )

Summary: Set in the summer after Twilight, 2 weeks before the beginning of senior year, Bella wakes up one Saturday morning to find a sleeping, HUMAN Edward beside her.
"It was late August and we were going back to school in two weeks, so every single day had become invaluable to me. To be treasured, remembered forever, saved for a time I must leave to allow her to pick up her life as if I had never disturbed it.
But what about now? If I am truly human, that is no longer the case. I can give Bella everything she ever wants, everything she deserves. A real life, a husband... children? I have no need to leave her. I can stay and love her forever... If she’ll have me."

And a good dream I bet it was. I am so thankful that Bella is an easy lay for Edward. Where would the fun be in that. Edward is smoking, and giddy about him being up for the challange. I wonder what the others will think of her love bite in the morning. I assuming they will think that it's Jake. I hoping it will ward off Mike, but I fear it might have the opposite effect on James. Ugh, freaking James.
Summary: After the Cullens leave Forks, a twist of fate lands Bella in Chicago in 1918. She thinks it's her second chance... a chance to build a life with a human Edward. But when she finds him, he's not quite what she expected... and Bella has some hurdles to overcome to create the future she's hoping for.

Has Carlise caught his first glimpse of Esme yet? He needs a distraction. Author's Response: According to SM, Carlisle first met Esme in 1911 when he treated her for a broken leg. She was only 16 at the time, though. She didn't see him again until he changed her in 1921.

Yes the dreams are driving me crazy. I want to unravel them. Is Carlisle attracted to Bella? I think so. Author's Response: The dreams/visions are sparking a lot of theories... there will be at least some answers coming soon. Just be patient...:-)
As for Carlisle... some think he just feels fatherly/protective toward Bella... some thing there might be something more... hmmmm... guess we'll have to wait and see.

Wow. I thought she would just say yes. I understand her adversion to saying yes in our time, but what's her excuse for when it's expected and acceptable. this story is doing a wonderful job of putting me in the mindframe of Edward's transformation. If she says yes it may be easier to get him to move. Author's Response: Oh, you know Bella... she's got this thing about marriage... *shrugs* I think she'll come around eventually, though. And I think your last sentence is right... hopefully Bella will realize this too.

“What are you thinking?” Edward asked me.
“I’m thinking about how big of a failure I am,” I answered truthfully.
We were still holding each other in his classroom and I realized quickly how dangerous that was...that was where Edward and I went wrong. The need we both felt to touch each other was costing us, and if I didn’t put a stop to it, well, I knew things were going to get worse way before they got better.
Edward narrowed his eyes at me disapprovingly. “You're not a failure, Bella.”
The furrow in his brow only increased as I put some distance between us. He reached out to bring me back in, but I shook my head stubbornly.
“I’m not running,” I assured him, “but we need to stop being so open. While I’m here, we need to at least pretend I’m your student.”
Edward ran his hands through his hair roughly and I envied him at that moment. Only a minute had passed and I was already losing my resolve.

Author's Response: He very well could have taken a short cut ;) Bella took the main roads and she has to walk like a lady in a dress. James would be able to be much faster.
