Summary: Bella Swan meets a beautiful stranger, lawyer Edward Masen on a holiday in Rome. The chemistry is palpable, the sex passionate - and a physical relationship grows into something more. Whats sad is to see both B & E in these last chapters denying the truth of their bond.. Devaluing the time they had together...

Woah. Another amazing chapter. Their night time confessional had been building for a long time....
Edward hearing he made her happy...That lit something brand new inside of him didn't it? Something no other has ever lit..
Only Bella.
& for Bella? Hearing Ed say he just wanted her safe & happy...? I can't imagine what that must have meant to a friendless orphan. Emmett is paid to keep her safe, but Edward? he's choosing to say it, followed up by his effort and trouble to be with her for the disposition. His actions show his love in ways that must make Bella tingle sexually but more importantly emotionally.
& you make a wee chaste scene in a bed smouldering hot. Its the way you ply & layer the tension.. Brill.
My only hope is that Edward doesn't freak out. its obv that Bella wanted this at least as much as he wanted..
Anyways an absolutely smashing chapter.

Can I just say how liberating it is to read B & E being free with one another... I love how easily they have slipped into their roles of fiancee & betrothed as Alice is around.. How they have allowed their real selves to respond to the other & to quit the facade's... Even though its BPOV - the relief from Edward is tangible..
Love his determination to do it right this time... The dates, the build up.. but worry about what he is up to in the evenings - dangerous me thinks...
Love them together - their unity, their humour & the love.
& now they have fessed it too. WOW!
