Once again, I want to say thank you so much for all of the love and adoration that you guys have given to me and Parachute! People are going to get tired of hearing me say how much in awe I am of my readers and their giant hearts, but it's so very true! This story wouldn't have been nowhere near as good as it was nor had the kind of response that it had without my loyal and fuckawesome Verucas! (Heh, haven't heard that in awhile, have we?) I am prostrate at your feet. (Not to be confused with prostate, lol) I owe you all so very much!

The blogs have undergone some work over the past two weeks. KitsuShel.blogspot.com will now be used as a hub for everything that I write, with links to actual story blogs. Parachute's will remain up, just under a different name. Parachuteff.blogspot.com My next fic, Rabbit Heart's blog is up as well. Rabbit Heart will start posting this Friday, February 18th and will follow the same update/posting schedule as Parachute. The story has already been in the queue here for a couple of weeks, so we should be good to go! I hope that you guys decide to continue on that journey with me as well. =)

Teaser from Rabbit Heart Chapter 1:

The streets were eerily empty as the girl stealthily slipped out of the Beverly Hills house, although one could quite easily exchange the term mansion in its stead. Her shoulders were hunched as she made sure her hood was firmly covering her blond hair, her back laden with only an over-stuffed backpack and a guitar case. She needed to escape quickly, unseen, and today was the best time to make that happen. It was just after eleven pm, on Christmas Eve and there was practically no movement on Santa Monica Boulevard. She traveled on foot for almost three miles before coming across a cab running on the desolate streets.

She quickly stowed her meager possessions in the backseat before climbing inside.

"The nearest Greyhound station, please," she requested as softly as she could, but still within the driver's hearing range.

The older man glanced at her in the rear view mirror. If he thought anything was off about the way she kept her face hidden, he made no mention of it.

"Heading home for the holiday, sweetie?"

"Something like that," she murmured, staring out of the window and watching the lights pass by. They reached their destination in just under fifteen minutes and she handed him a $50 bill.

Now that she had fallen in adoration with the Cullen clan, she couldn't imagine leaving them. But on the same token, she couldn't imagine leaving her own family and friends behind. The questions whirled around like a tornado, forcing her to blink back tears at their sudden force. She felt a nudge and turned to Esme, who was smiling at her.

"Hey, no frowning," she half-whispered. "Try to enjoy the day, sweetie."

Bella shook her head and smiled sadly. "I'm sorry, Esme. Too many thoughts running around in my head. I don't know what I'm doing."

Esme laughed lightly. "Oh, sweetheart! None of us know what we're doing. Life's a dance that we learn as we go. Everything will work out for the best, you'll see."

"How can you be so sure, Esme? I can't see how this will end happily."

Bella sniffed and looked down at her plate.

"How can I not, Bella? Fate stepped in and brought you to love and keep Jack safe. Fate brought you and Jack back to us. I can't help but be hopeful for the future, especially knowing that my grandson is alive and safe and loved."

Parachute is up for three Walk of Fame Awards: Angst Goddess, Queen of Hearts and Story of the Year. It's up against some major big ones like University of Edward Masen, Master of the Universe and Emancipation Proclamation, so I don't hold any expectation other than getting squashed like a bug. Parachute ~ Chapter 36 Teaser:

Bella stood, drenched head to toe, in the middle of her front lawn. Hot tears streamed down her face as the chilly rain pelted her skin. Her mouth was open slightly in shock, as she gazed down with wide eyes at the man she loved more than life itself. Edward's hopeful, joyous face grinned up at her from his stance on one knee. The ring held in his hand was a single brilliant diamond that was simple, yet elegant.

"Isabella Swan, I have been captivated by you since the moment I first laid eyes on you. That love only grew and expanded as I got to know you and saw first hand what a wonderful mother you are to our son. Forever could never be long enough for me, to feel like I've had long enough with you. Marry me?"

She covered her mouth and let out a sob, before throwing her arms around him and shouting, "Yes!"

They fell together, a mass a limbs and lips, their hearts beating both beating wildly. He pulled away slightly and pushed a lock of rain-saturated hair from her face.

"Let's go inside, please. I don't want you to catch a cold."

When they stood, his eyes were drawn to her white shirt, now completely plastered against her bare breasts, her nipples hard and straining against the fabric. His hand reached out to brush against her breast, causing her to become self conscious and cross her arms across her chest. She laughed lightly and nodded her head towards the house.

"Come on, let's get dry."

Edward let out a loud guffaw. "I'd rather keep you wet, love."

His hands wrapped around her waist and he pulled her back to his chest as they tumbled into the house. Sopping wet clothes soon littered the foyer floor and hands roamed greedily.

"Where is our bedroom?" he asked huskily, sweeping her into his arms.

I won't ever be remembered for my common sense. I know most of you hate me and I'm fine with that. I deserve it. I was a bad, bad girl. For those of you who don't know my story, I'll start at the beginning.

My mother married my father for his money and power. When she'd finally had enough, she left and took half of his net worth, including me. He never seemed to mind. He sent an obscenely large support check once a month, but it always felt like a buy-off. Once he re-married and began a family with his new wife, our interactions were even fewer. Who knows how I would have turned out if he had made more of an effort? He's just as much to blame for my upbringing as my mother is. He knew how she was, yet he still didn't lift a finger to keep me.
