Summary:
When the dawn breakings the day has to come to an end and that is when darkness descends on our world.
Prologue
The truest and simplest fact of life is that nothing last forever. It doesn’t matter if you are human or otherwise; someone out there holds your life in their hands. But things don’t always happen the way you expect them to. Sometimes an individual comes along and intervenes; effectively postponing the evitable. For the Cullen clan and their friends, that intervention was me. They were living in what was a seemingly perfect existence, but each and every one of them had a sickening feeling in the pits of their stomachs. There was a threat overshadowing them that desired nothing more than to destroy their serenity.
I could say that I choose to get involved because it was the right thing to do, but that would just sound cliché. The true is that I did it for vengeance. I did it out of anger, hatred and resentment. I did it for regret, guilt and to atone for the lives I had destroyed. I did it for a moral belief in justice and that all have the right to live their lives without fear that someday someone will come along and destroy everything they hold dearest. I did it for the family I had lost and the one I had to gain. And I did it for love. I could have just as easily walked away and never looked back, but had I done that, I wouldn’t have been me.
My name is Taven Curry and I am a vampire. It sound strange, but believe me, there are far stranger things in this world than just vampires. I am not what you would call your typical vampire; in more ways that one. For example, my moral compass points true north. I have a very clear understanding of what is right and what is wrong. However, just because I know when something is wrong doesn’t mean I always follow in suit. I am far from a saint. I have loyally and willingly served a trio of tyrants who stood for everything I hated and threatened to destroy the last person alive who remember who I once was before I became the monster. I have also hunted, killed; feed and I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy it. A moment of true satisfaction for an eternity of regret. A burden of guilt that I am happy to bare. It acts as a constant reminder that some part of me is still human. A tool I use to keep my demons at bay. It is a constant struggle and I welcome any help I can get. With the things I am capable of, I fear for the world and all its inhabitance should the day come when the darkness consumes me completely.
There is one thing that all vampires have in common; we were not always. I was human once, normal…well as normal as any seventeen year old pubescent male can be. I had a family once and friends. And I had one best friend that I care about more than anyone in the entire world and she changed mine more than once. A very larger part of who I was, who I became and who I am is because of her influence. Life has a twisted sense of humor and a way of altering a person permanently in the most unexplainable ways. She had changed my life when I was human, but neither in my wildest dream nor my darkest nightmares did I ever expect her to do it again in my life as vampire. Though time and circumstances had separated Bella and me for years, another circumstance had brought us back together and in the end she was my saving grace.
My name is Taven Curry, I am a vampire and this is the story of what happens after happily ever after ends.

Title: Chapter 9: Confession and Fear
Well, where to start...
I stayed up last night running through this as fast as I possibly could...well written fan fiction is like a great deal on a used car...you don't come across one too often. But when it does happen..you can't just walk away!
I am truly imressed with your writing sir, you have the makings of a great author. On a site full of writings about the misadventures of Human Edward working as a bouncer at a strip club, your work keeps true with Stephenie Meyer's original mythology and truly does stand out.
I myself am a guy, and I've been writing long enough to know that certain subjects can be tougher for us to write as guys, and in others girls have a hard time making the grade. You have attempted to transcend those boundaries, and I noticed as I read through your work you were becoming more comfortable with the interaction and emotional aspect that makes the original series so special, ESPECIALLY with this past chapter, which was home run.
I guess my point is, I see you improving, you're doing great man, keep at it. I was a bit horrified that Taven's abilities are almost lock step with a character I'm developing in my own fic (which I haven't posted yet...I'm finicky about editing and ensuring interaction is peak) but it soon passed...as the saying goes, there's no new ideas under the sun eh?
Again, keep up the great work, and i look forward to future submissions. :) Author's Response: Thank you so much bro. It means a lot that you put the effort in writting such an awesome review. I know what you been about the comfort level. After that last chapter...that speak...emotional awakening. I'm not really afraid to get a little soft. Taven is suppose to be this cold, hard, disiplined, deatly soldier. But he has that emotion.
As for his ability...keep reading. Like Bella, Taven's ability is going to evolve. It is going to be like nothing you have seen. I know some people are going to give me some lack about it, but I have to do. I think it will people speakless. Which is always cool. Thanks for the review and please keep it coming.

Title: Chapter 12: You Are The Perfect Drug
I have an answer.
Technically, venom only works if it's injected directly in the blood. Not just mythical vampire venom, but ordinary, everyday venom. Here's an example: You're insane. You go out into the texas wilderness and find a diamondback rattlesnake and cut it's head off, drink it's venom. What happens?
Nothing, the acids in your mouth and stomach break down the venom because venom wsan't meant for ingestion, it was meant for injection. Now, if vampire venom was a POISON, it would work by way of infection AND injestion. That's why a mushroom can be poisonous, and a rattlesnake venomous.

Summary: 
A simple visit to La Push beach one summer day turns everything Paul ever knew right on its head. The nastiest shock of his life – second only to phasing into a werewolf, of course – is quite possibly discovering that Jake is his potential brother-in-law.
The trials facing Paul include Jake's imminent return and the underlying vampire threat, while the rest of the pack (particularly Leah) really isn't helping.

He hesitated for only a moment, trying and failing to find a way to avoid this question. There was simply no other way. She was a key part of the plan. Finally, with a sigh, he answered, “Edward, Emmett, and Rosalie Cullen.” Something twisted in her gut, but she had been anticipating this. Of course it was bound to happen. That was just the way things worked out for her, and she had long ago accepted that. So there was no outward reaction to his words; only a simple nod. “Edward, as in the mind reader?” the first guard wondered. Aro’s confirmation caused another hiss to rise up from amongst the guard. “We must proceed with great caution.” He turned to face his followers. They had anticipated the rebellion’s every possible move and had prepared intensely for them all. He turned to face the female guard who had spoken. “You know what to do.”

Title: Chapter 9: The Gathering
You know...around these parts it isn't often one is exposed to Original Characters (cue the 476th "Edward never came back story") and certainly ones that have strong, original personalities. Your work clearly possesss both of these, and is an extremely fresh story. It's a shame that more people aren't paying attention to it.
I honestly think my favorite character thus far is Thomas. Seth was one of my favorites from the canon series, and I'm more than thrilled that you have created a faithful successor, even more so that he balances out your other two characters.
Concluding, amazing work, you've obviously got me hooked, and keep up the good work! Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean, I like cannon stories but I also like new characters and new ideas. When I started to post this story here I knew I wasn't going to get a lot of reviews and readers, but I still wanted to get it out there. I wasn't expecting less readers, so I'm glad.
So you like Seth, well I must say you;ll like later as he'll make another appearance. I can't leave my wolf guys away for long, the same as the Cullens will also appear later. But they won't be that important as the OC's...

"No. I don't believe he did."
"Yes, he's just over . . ."
He was a mere step in front of me before I finished my blink. "No, you're traveling alone. Not very prudent. You never know who you might meet . . . in a place like this."
His hand reached out to caress my face. I couldn't move. I should've jumped his hand was so cold, but I didn't, as he brought it across my cheek, down across my jawbone, stopping on my neck. I could feel his breath as he leaned in and whispered,
"I'll be waiting for you."

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4
This story is interesting...as I say in most of my reviews, I have a huge soft spot for stories that break from the typical mold, and this one does it amazingly. Even more daring are you, as an author, to create characters that AREN'T teenage girls, well done!
I'm loving the development of Catharine's personality, she seems like she's either going to make a wonderful complement to Charlie's personality, or an absolute train wreck! (Either way, I will throughly enjoy watching how it plays out)

Title: Chapter 11: Fight and Flight
Alright, I think it's glowing review time!
I've been reading this fic in bits and pieces over the past week or so, and I have to say that you do an amazing job of portraying this inner workings of the Volturi, and do so with a character that knows little else.
I'm really loving where this is going, poor Lucy just seems so lost when it comes to, well, everything, you've developed her quite well! I am interested to see how the dynamic between her and the Cullens.
