All through high school, Bella was in love with her best friend who was in love with her, too. Both never expressing their feelings and never knowing how the other felt. In the end, Edward decided to go across the other side of the country leaving Bella with only one memory of him: his journal. Heart-broken and confused by it’s content, she casted it aside. Years later, Edward moves back home, but Bella wants to move on with her life. Can they really stay away from each other, or will history repeat itself?

Title: Chapter 20: Just Between Us
I am relieved that they finally talked and started to work out their issues. I am confused by Alice and Emmett and their actions. I eager to find out their reasons.
I liked that they decided to shut out the world and just be together. I think that is exactly what they needed.
Great job --- looking forward to more!

Title: Chapter 18: A Captured Moment
Well, at least she knows he doesn't have a girlfriend and she asked why he didn't contact her. It is a start and they have a long way to go.
I hope that they talk about the past and what has happened.
I can't wait to find out what his journal said and where they are!
They're close to resolving things. But you're right, they just need to sit down and talk. :-)

Title: Chapter 19: Stay Like This
So glad that they finally were together. ;)
And Edward said it all when he said "....we need to be honest here. Communication has been our obvious problem." FINALLY! I hopet that they talk soon and can work out their past. It should be interesting.
Yeah, if only they were like that from the start, but I guess when feelings are hurt, it's a bit hard. Thanks for reviewing! :-)

Title: Chapter 21: And There's Another One
I can understand why Edward and Bella are so upset with Emmett and Alice. So many hurt feelings and epic misunderstandings. If they had been honest, this situation might have been prevented.

So, surprisingly, I loved it! Bella's brilliant, vivid description of Edward had me panting! I enjoyed how they looked, watched, longed and waited ... and then finally, Bella bought him coffee.
I completely adored his full name -- Edward The Pretty Fuckhot Latteman Bookworm Cullen -- it was very fitting!
AND, oh course, fuckhot sex on the washing machine. I will never look at that appliance the same way again! Thanks for that visual! ;)
Also, the ending was lovely. Another great job bb!!! :)
You are TOTES my fave crustacean. BTW, my baby sister is obsessed with lobsters, so it only goes to show that must be why you appreciate my stories so much. She is the one who always encouraged me to write. :)
Bella did get into the descriptions, didn't she? But I had to make sure you could all tell how closely she was observing him, almost like she knew him before she really did. And yes, the bond is sealed over coffee. It is a Kimpy story, after all.
I was a little worried I was piling on too many nicknames, TBH, but that was kind of the point. She needed to get past those and simply find out who this man is.
You're going to laugh, but I didn't plan for the main smexing to be on the washing machine. It was intended to be in the shower, but then Bella absent-mindedly took off her clothes, and the rest is history.
I'm delighted you enjoyed it, sweetheart. You always make my day with your reviews!!

Title: Chapter 1: Burn
This was beautiful, absolutely beautiful!
Personally, I enjoyed the lack of dialogue. This could have been drowning in conversations and we could have gotten lost. Now, I was able to focus on their thoughts and feelings - which was more important anyway. It added so much more depth to this.
And I adore that you write an a/n explaining your story that is almost as long as your o/s!! :)
After fifteen years of marriage, Bella and Jacob are going their separate ways – Jacob into the arms of another woman. Everything is changing, and Bella isn’t sure how to move on with her life. When she meets Edward Cullen, sparks fly, but can she take a chance? Or will her insecurities keep her from pursuing what she really wants?
I'm glad that they talked. They really do a good job of communicating with each other. I like that Edward made Bella talked about her feelings and shared his with her.
Poor horny Bella - she just doesn't know what to do with herself! Good thing Edward does. He was a little worried morning-after too - he wanted to be sure she still respected him in the morning as well :)
Oh, how I have missed this story (and you). I can't express how much I loved that they finally confessed their feelings for each other. I was giddy and relieved that Edward and Bella have shared their feelings. I am so hopeful that they will continue to move forward.
Also, for someone who claims to hate Valentine's Day --- Bella really did have an amazing one. ;)
Excellent job. Can't wait for more!
Edward made sure his pretty girl had a holiday to make up for all the ones that lacked in the past. What better way to celebrate the day of love than to declare that emotion?
I'm so glad you liked it. Thanks for always taking the time to read and comment!
I really enjoyed their subtle touching and flirting. They were both so nervous but genuine about their interactions. I hate that he was disturbed and then so upset by the phone call. I am intrigued by who called and what happened to upset him so much.
Great job -- can't wait for more!
Thanks so much for continuing to read and comment - I always smile when I see your screen name at the top of a review :)
It was really hard to write that interruption - Bella wasn't the only one imagining more happening! But, it happened for a reason, and it goes to show that Bella's not the only one with a past.
I appreciate your support and feedback - thanks again!
Not how I expected their first kiss and the after to go but they are truly not ready for that part of their relationship. Yeah, they talk, chat, and text. They have an incredible connection and amazing chemistry. And neither has opened up about themselves or their pasts. Bella has no idea what is going on with Edward and what happened with his marriage. The same goes for him!
I truly hope that they talk - openly and honestly - talk about themselves and their pasts - SOON! I think that they both need it.
Can't wait for more. (and maybe some groveling and ass-kissing from Edward too - just saying) ;)
Once again, thank you so much for reading & offering me your feedback. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate it! :)
"Interesting", hmmmm? LOL!! I hope you enjoyed their first kiss, even if they did get interrupted. I do promise some resolution in the next chappie, which should post this weekend
Interesting start. Bella is really having a tough time with her daughter. You are doing a great good making this look and feel real.
Author's Response: Wow, thanks for your kind words, and for taking the time to read and review my little story - it means so much to me! I'm happy to hear that it comes across as real - that's my hope for this story!
New chapter coming soon - I hope you'll enjoy that one as well! Thanks again for your review!!
I loved how much work and research Angela and Bella are putting into this business.
I can't ever get enough of Edward and Bella together. I mean, nothing has happened and I am just too excited.
I really liked the description of the space and designs. I am a very visual person -- Do you have any pics of the cafe/bookstore that they are developing? Just wondering - if you did would you be able to share them with us. Thanks!!
Can't wait for more!
I actually haven't put anything down on paper except the descriptions for A New Page, but I will see what I can do (well, what my husband, the artistic one, can do). I'll let you know wha I come up with - thanks for the idea.
And thanks so much for reading & letting me know your thoughts. I'm having so much fun writing this story, and it means the world to me that you are enjoying it right along with me!
Alice's planning and ideas were brilliant. I enjoyed their trip was interesting and entertaining.
I loved their coffee date. I can't get enough of E/B together. They have an incredible connection and I just love it!
Awww, thanks so much for continuing to read & comment. I've told you before, but it really does mean a lot to me when I hear from you :)
I had a lot of fun writing Chapter 9 - lots of fluff, some info on other characters (Alice is of course one of my favorites!) and a fun, relaxed coffee date. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying E/B's developing relationship, because I absolutely love writing it!
Well, since you asked I'll tell ya ....the most moving moment - for me - was when Bella saw Edward working in the store and her inner voice said 'Touch him'. The night I met my hubs - my inner voice said the same thing to me and I did - and 15 years later we are still together.
Oh how I hate to admit this but I was alot like Sarah at 15 - snarky and well, bitchy. I said things to hurt others and just be a pain in the ass. I thought that Bella handled her brilliantly. She was perfect. Will is great - I just adore him.
And Edward is just beyond swoonable. I love how thoughtful and caring he is. Very convenient that he was driving by at that time ...hmmm? So sweet that he took care of Bella and comforted her. I can't wait to find out more about his past. And, oh what I would give for his POV. *sigh*
As usually, I am looking forward to more!!
I've said it before, but it bears repeating - thank you so, so much for your continued support of this story and for sending me your comments. I truly appreciate your feedback!
And thanks so much for sharing the story about you & your hubs! Congrats on 15 years - that's a record any more :)
Edward may or may not have been driving by the store hoping to see the lights on so he could go visit with a pretty brunette... guess he got more than he bargained for, but lucky Bella! There will be EPOVs as outtakes at later dates, but too much of what goes on in his head is spoiler material right now :)
Glad to know that you don't completely hate Sarah - it actually hurts to write her like that because, in my head, I know she was just as sweet as Will before Bella & Jacob separated. Also good to know that she reads like a "real" teenager - mouthy, bratty and all!
As promised, a little teaser for Ch. 11, which should hopefully post this weekend...
“Bella, you’ve got some paint right…here,” Edward said, reaching out with his forefinger and brushing my cheekbone. I felt my pulse race as the blood rushed to the spot he touched, my skin tingling with awareness. He lifted his finger, showing me the dot of bright pink paint that now colored his fingertip. “Oops, didn’t get it all,” he said huskily, reaching out to cup my cheek, using his thumb to rub gently at the spot between my cheekbone and nose...
I am thrilled that Edward and Bella cleared the air in regards to the kiss. I was releaved that it was just a misunderstanding/a miscommunication and not something more.
Although, they do need to talk. Edward needs to explain what has happened in his past and with his marriage. It seems to still be affecting him and if he plans on having any kind of relationship with Bella he should talk to her. However, if he is just looking for a 'hook-up' well then, no need to explain! ;);)
I am so excited for them to see each other again!
Thanks once again for taking the time to read and comment - I really appreciate your feedback, and I always look forward to reading what you think of the updates!
As far as what's happening with Edward... well, he's got his own timeline (trust me, I've been trying to get him to follow mine, but he just crosses his arms and shakes his head... with that sexy crooked grin, of course!) But the next couple of chapters should answer a few questions. I hope you'll continue to let me know what you think as things progress, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on New Year's Eve!!
I have to confess that I read each chapter more than one time. Actually, it is embarrassing how many times I read the chapters.
I am so loving this story. I love that they are grown ups with grown up lives and problems. I love that Bella isn't perfect with the perfect body. And that they both have baggage that they are bringing into this relationship.
So relieved that Bella found out more about Edward's past with Heidi. I am still wondering what they could possibly have to discuss.
Great job --- I can't wait for more!!
Best compliment EVER, hearing that you reread the chapters :) Seriously, because I do that to my favorite stories, and it makes me absolutely giddy to think that you are doing that with my story. Thank you so, so much!!
And of course I'm thrilled that you're liking the story progression. It's been a challenge to keep it real when all I've wanted is to throw these kids together, but knowing that it's the "realness" of the characters that keeps you reading helps keep me in focus.
Thank you again sooo much for your continued support. I always look forward to your comments!!
I just love how their relationship is growing. I really like that they truly care about each other and their attraction is evident!
I am just so addicted to their moments together. Whether it is them talking on the phone or being red-hot intimate -- I can't get enough.
I was surprised and proud of Sarah's reaction to the news about Bella and Edward dating. I thought that Will's reaction was reasonable - for him. Bella handled him and his concerns well.
Again -- I loved it and can't wait for more!!
I appreciate you continuing to take the time to read and comment on my story – your feedback means more to me than you could ever know!
Glad I could surprise you with the kids' reactions - and Bella's reaction to the kids' reactions. I think Sarah and Bella both have grown quite a bit. Will's feeling a little insecure, but what 13-year old boy isn't that way where his mom is concerned?
Glad you are enjoying the B/E interaction. That little bit of lemon zest was fun to write!
As promised, here’s your teaser for Chapter 16, which should post this weekend:
His voice quieted as he sang the chorus one last time, his eyes only on me.The applause startled both of us, and he mumbled a quick “thank you” into the microphone.Edward waved to the crowd and stepped down from the stage even as the applause picked up for his performance. He waved off the waitress who approached him with his usual post-performance drink, and ignored the calls of people wanting to speak with him.My breathing was rough and excited as he stalked across the bar toward me, a predatory gleam in his eye.Ignoring his brother and our friends, he reached down, grasping my hands and pulling me from my seat into his arms in one fluid movement as he crushed his lips to mine.
Hope you’ll let me know what you think of the update when it posts. Thanks for reading!
Oh how I love this story. I love that they are adults with adults lives, with adult issues and problems.
Thank you for making Bella more 'real' For not making her perfect with a perfect body. I love that she has flaws and is concerned about how she looks.
And if it even possible, I fell more in love with Edward when he was describing how and why he finds Bella attactive. Real men like curves!! ;)
(I'm not even going to tell you how many times I read this. Too many to count.)
Thanks so much for reading & commenting - I always love getting your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the update. It makes me so happy when I hear that you find Bella real - that's exactly what I'm working so hard at, and it means so much to me to know that she comes across that way. And Edward... yeah, I think we all need one of those at home!
Rereading? Best compliment I can get!!!
Next chapter should hopefully post this weekend - I hope you'll let me know what you think of it when it does. Thanks so much for your continued support!>
