Summary:  Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college. This fic chronicles how they meet, fall in love, and struggle with the complexities of their relationship. Not nearly as maudlin as it sounds (I hope).
Rated NC-17 for graphic (and sometimes non-romantic) sex, drug and alcohol use and abuse, profane language, and brief (very brief) suicidal ideation (although NO suicide attempts). No sexual assault, no cutting.

Brilliant - simply brilliant!
I love their conversations. There is still an underlying unease with them - and I just adore how you subtlety desribe it. I am glad that they are trying to talk about the more difficult subjects.
And I have to confess -- I love smut, lemons, hot Edward sexing! BUT I was very happy that they stopped and didn't have sex. :)
Great job -- can't wait for more!!

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14
Another brilliant one! I do wish they could have talked about what was bothering Edward. Was is just a crappy day or was it more?
One of the things that I loved the about the lemon was that it was realistic. (well as realistic as sex with Edward can be ;)) I loved that she didn't have an orgasm. There were passionate moments and tense, awkward moments too. I got the impression that Edward has never tried to satisify a woman before. That he was only interested in his own needs and wants. But with Bella, he wanted to please her by asking if she was okay? He was sweet and thoughtful.
I can't wait to see how this affects them and their relationship.

Just so good!
I loved Edward's convo with Jasper. His nervousness and Jasper's calm made it interesting.
Edward and Bella's convo, as always, was great. One of the things I love about this story is that the convos are just about the convos. It isn't about long pauses while he is thinking. I love how real and natural it sounds.
I am so excited that Edward is going to Seattle with Bella.
He did make me nervous at the end. I am curious where his feelings are coming from and what they mean.

Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 16
I truly loved everything about this chapter!! EVERYTHING!
Bella and Alice's convo was great. I think that it is wonderful that Bella has Alice as not only a friend but also as a support who is in a relationship with someone who has an addiction.
I can't ever get enough of Bella and Edward together! I always enjoy their time together in Seattle. And just love their conversations. I liked that they do talk about difficult topics.
I was surprised and loved that Edward confessed his feelings. I didn't expect it and that made it even more amazing. And it was brilliant that this was in Bella's POV.
Great, great job! As usual -- I can't wait for more!
