Date: June 20, 2009 Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 22 - Sound of Music

This is the first time I've reviewed a story on this site and I have to say it's really quite good. The plot is moving and I love the fact that it is such an emotional and less than happy journey. I completely agree that you needed to take the time to add these chapters with voices from characters like Jasper in order to keep things moving without too much intensity all at once. However, it seems that in shying away writing about Bella and Edward, some of the momentum in the way of character development is lost. We haven't heard from Bella in what seems like eons and while i agree that the story shouldn't move forward to her having the baby and finding out what is going to happen with her and Edward, not hearing from her at all tends to cause a sense of anxiety in the reader to know what's going on with her. Had you considered adding a chapter about these occurences only from her point of view? Like what happened before she was found in her apartment? Just a thought. Wonderful writing though. Really emotional and thought provoking and well thought out.

Author's Response: First of all, thank you for the lovely review! Secondly, I had not thought about a side story of Bella. Hopefully, the reasons will become clear shortly. Bella's inner monologue, and her thoughts on events will play a large roll from here on out. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts!

Beautiful

So simple, and yet so perfect and moving.

Do we get to hear this experience from Bella's POV at some point? Sorry I really want to know what happened in her apartment before all of this. If not that's fine too, you're the author and I'm sure it will be great.

You're right, it was confusing at first, but then it becomes brilliant. You are a fantastic writer!!! I really felt like I was inside Bella's head. Now all I want to do is see her wake up!!! Beautiful.

As much as it saddens me that Edward and Bella aren't together at the end of this chapter, I applaud you for taking it in this direction. Without this, any outcome wouldn't be realistic.
Pardon me while I get personal for a second, but I've been hurt badly by men a few times in my life and as much as I loved them, I couldn't have gone running back to them even if they were as elegant and loquacious as Edward. I hope he can find some way to earn back her trust and they can somehow find a way to be a happy family, but kudos for making Bella walk away right now. It's real and it makes your story that much more compelling.

Can't wait to read the rest!!!!!

Thank you for understanding why I went this way with the story. I know how many folks were disappointed, but I'm not done yet either. I think this is the more organic decision for Bella at this point in time.
