Bios are a lot like bumper stickers - TMI. But, having said that: I am an admitted Twilight obsessed mother of two girls. I love to write and hope that I am good enough that all these voices in my head are interesting to you guys too. I am very open minded but I am a little stubborn about taking criticism. I am working on that.
I live East of San Francisco in a way too heavily populated area that is virtually unaffordable. But the climate is great, there is lots of culture and plenty of gorgeous landmarks nearby.
I also have a chocolate lab named Django that half the time I love to death and the other time I want to just take him off the leash and see what happens.
I love Twilighted and can't believe that I lived most of my life without it. Now that I've found it though I am committed to both reading and if they'll have me, writing as often as I can.

Summary: 
Jasper Hale is the son of a popular televangelist in Phoenix, and he couldn’t be any further from a church-going goody two shoes. His attitude towards work, attending class, or contributing positively to society is lackadaisical at best. He drinks, smokes, and has a penchant for deflowering teenage girls. Bella Swan attends private school with Edward Cullen, a senior who she’s been in love with since 9th grade, when he moved to Phoenix. Unfortunately, Edward is dating Jasper's sister, Rosalie, the most beautiful girl at St. Mary’s, and doesn’t even know Bella exists. But when Jasper sets his sights on Bella, Edward can’t help but take notice. His initial desire to protect her from Rosalie’s impious older brother leads to deeper feelings. This is definitely getting intriguing! Bella is so sad and dejected even more than in SM's version. Wow - how utterly sad. I am certainly a touchy-feely person so I can relate to the physical need to touch and be cuddled. I like your take on the story. Can't wait for more!

Wow - I kind of lost track of this story and rediscovered it today. Thank god you didn't abandon it - the tension and intense need is so addictive, so amazing! I am really intrigued!

Bella is content being single and tired of being pursued by losers. Alice and Rosalie play a game of punk rock “Bella Barbie” before dragging her to a club to watch their boyfriends’ band play at an open mic night. Fun and exciting - can't wait to find out what happens on his bed.
Summary:  Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college. This fic chronicles how they meet, fall in love, and struggle with the complexities of their relationship. Not nearly as maudlin as it sounds (I hope).
Rated NC-17 for graphic (and sometimes non-romantic) sex, drug and alcohol use and abuse, profane language, and brief (very brief) suicidal ideation (although NO suicide attempts). No sexual assault, no cutting.

Such long, dense chapters! I love it! Great description of Boston and how she spends her day saying goodbye to the city! I like that she's not waiting around for her Edward but having some sexual fun with Seth. Your Bella and Edward are definitely not the toned down Mormon version of SM or the juvenile, idealized ones of much of the fanfics out there. I like the realism.

Your story is absolutely excellent. Your characterization of Edward is so real and so thoroughly profound. You have an incredible writing voice. I am entralled and amazed that you could get inside his fucked up head so completely. This first chapter was painful to read but entirely believable. He is definitely at rock bottom and I am so very looking forward to seeing him climb out of this horrific hole.
I can only imagine that you have some personal experience with either witnessing this kind of addiction or have lived through it yourself because you capture the essence of the motivation, the despondancy, the mental warping of the drugs so well. Reading this was chilling in a way that was not in the least enjoyable but was terribly gripping and incredibly well-written and composed.

I like how real this is. It's great that Edward is strong enough to resist bending the rigid AA rules for Bella. I like that he is committed to his recovery. It shows that he really has changed from the depraved man he was before he came clean. I have a really close friend who has been in AA since he was 17 - he was one fucked up teenager - and it is a difficult road. It's not always easy for others to understand but he is 40 now and still going strong.
There is something about your descriptions that is so familiar to me. One of the ways that you describe how Edward stands with his shoulders hunched and how Bella finds it attractive in a weird way reminded me so much of my husband. He used to chain smoke and he was very thin and he had this way of holding his shoulders that wasn't out of insecurity - it was just his stance and I found it irresistible.
You seem to really understand addiction well. Jasper's story is very much like that of a friend of mine who was injured in a hiking accident (he fell off a cliff) and after surgery was given pain meds that he never could completely give up. It turned into a heroin addiction and despite many failed attempts to clean up and many trips to rehab, he died when he was 23. It really sucked - it was the worst funeral ever - way too sad!
I love your story and your writing style. I am addicted to your story.

You are so talented at the dialog. I really feel like I know these two. Perfect. The joking banter between them is too real and again, familiar to me - it is exactly how my husband and I used to communicate and still do to a certain extent. Great chapter. I do ache for Edward and his need to be closer. I hope he grows and repents and becomes a man worthy of Bella. He needs to deserve her first.

Reading this story is almost like watching an independent film. It has a certain rhythm and pace to it that is distinctive. I am so enjoying reading this evolution of Edward. He is such a real, dynamic, and interesting character. I love how Bella has already changed his life. He has gone from simply surviving to living. It's really beautiful to witness and to read about. Thank you for sharing your story and your truly brilliant writing.
