Edward could have easily slept in Bella's room, couldn't he? Who woud have known? This was beautiful. It bothers me that they haven't really discussed Edward's sexual history, though. Bella should know all of that and Edward should have been forthcoming. How many girls has he slept with??? Author's Response: The discussion of Edward's sexual history is coming soon - we'll all learn a little bit about his past endeavors. He could have satayed, but Charlie would definitly be chacking on Bella when he gets home, esp. when he doesn't see her truck in the drive! Edward's way too clever to get caight like that!

I have to admit the whole Carole thing from last chapter made me sick. They were fuckbuddies? He lost his virginity to some skank like that? It jsut seems so NOT like him. He was so nervous and careful and insecure in his courtship with Bella. He seemed so inexperienced, which, relationshipwise he was- sexually, he had experience.
He was so selfish not to tell Bella before their trip that she could cross paths with the girl whom Edward gave his virgnity to. And Bella took it so lightly, so instride. It irks me that she isn't jealous of all of that. Doesn't she question, just a little bit, that he thinks he's move in love with her than he is simply because this is his first "real" relationship? How could he have sex with Carole and feel no emotional attachment when he seems to be such an emotional guy when it comes to Bella? I am just trying to put those two side of Edward together. They just don't seem like the same person to me. I would have gottem if he was drunk, horney, and just followed Carole's lead adn fucked her, but they had an ongoing sexual relationship. It just kind of turns my stomach, you know? Bella is so trusting and innocent and nothing seems to piss her off when it comes to him. SHe always lets it go and fawns over him..... His sexual past just irks me. Am I alone in thinking this? ANywho, I am an addict. I love this story, please don't take this as me ragging on you, I am just trying to understand where Edward is coming from. He was so introverted at school and I thought he took sex to mean something- even before Bella. It really shakes me up that it didn't. That he's capable of jsut hooking up and fucking. It takes away something from their relationhip to me. Does that make sense???? Rgh. More. Just give me more. I love it.
I am happy he told Tanya where to stick it. I would love to see Bella get fed up and distance herself from him. I don't know why. but I want him to be punished for all of the crap he put ME through! ;o) Author's Response: Well..wow! I'll start off by saying I'm really glad that you feel so strongly about our boy! And then I'll say not everything is as it seems on the surface. I'll give you a little sneek peek at the story that is likely to be told from EPOV someday...
You're exactly right - he had sexual experience, but not a lot of relationship experience. He'd never slept with anyone before Carole because he hadn't met anyone he really liked enough to have sex with before. Edward has known Carole for a while - she's friends with Rosalie, so he knows her from his previous visits hanging out with Em at college (she's not just some nameless fuck). And he liked her. He wasn't in love with her - but he did like her. Their romantic involvement started before he was crushing on Bella - before he'd even ever run into her (and he did - literally - run into Bella, that's how she first came into his awareness!). I mean, come on, a sixteen year old oversexed hockey player and a pretty, nice, willing co-ed? ;)
He didn't warn Bella about seeing Carole in CA because he had no idea she would be there - they were in a different city entirely for the football game, and over a holiday, so he had no inkling that she might even be there. And another little tidbit - she had just broken up with Andy (the guy who made the snide comment abut everyone having a thing with her). She didn't know he'd be there, and she had a little too much drink because of it...so both her and Andy's comments were out of line and not typical for either of them that night.
The bottom line for Edward is that he is more emotional, more cautious with Bella because he is in love with her - she's important - and he knows the difference now. So he's nervous about screwing up - as most people are with the person that really, truly matters to them.
Does this make better sense? Sometimes I forget that not everybody lives in my head...Hope it makes you feel a little better about his past. --m

Lobsters4ever recommended this fic to me- we are friends. We actually had a half hour conversation this afternoon about Edward's sexual history ;o)
I love this story. I truly hope you write this all from Edward's POV, I would LOVE that!!! I ADORE them. I do hope you are going to write more of them. I really would like to know how their senior year goes, how they adapt to college. They will be exposed to a whole new world of suitors/fans there. I think about them all of the time. I feel like I have gotten to know them so well. This was a beautiful story and I have enjoyed this journey so much!!! Summary:
Bella transfers to the University of Washington and lives in a dorm with the Twilight usuals. The incredibly beautiful guy with the coppery-bronze hair is such a jerk when their lives first collide, but they cannot ignore the fact that they are drawn to each other. However, Bella has a boyfriend back home and Edward doesn't plan to get involved. A terrible experience has made him reluctant to form any attachments. But sometimes you find what you didn't even know you were looking for.
A little angst and lots of romance. Humor with a nosy Emmett, Rose, Jasper and Alice. Add a potential stalker. Top it all off with undeniable sexual tension and eventually some very hot sexy-times. BPOV and EPOV

And because of that friendship they don't want to recognize it, but they have to move on so they don't lose the friendship aspect as well.
