Summary:

Great dynamic with Rose, Emmett and Bella
Summary: What if Edward wasn't strong enough to resist the temptation of Bella's blood, the first time they met? What if, instead of leaving, he changed his mind and went to her house to kill her?
What if Alice got to them in time to stop him, but not in time to keep Bella human?
Rated NC-17 for probable violence and smut in later chapters. I'm pretty sure it will end up E/B, but might take a long while to get there.

LOL. "can you get me a glass of water?" I love it! Author's Response: I tried to imagine how someone who didn't know what had happened to them would interpret becoming a vampire. The first thing that occurred to me was that they wouldn't necessarily recognise their intense thirst as bloodlust.
The second I thought of that line I just couldn't resist putting it in!

What a wonderul chapter. Things are moving along nicely between them. They are both feeling that inexplicable pull towards each other. Theire feelings are unfolding!!! Author's Response: Inexplicable being the key word there! Neither of them really realise why they crave each other's company so much - understandable, since they hardly met under the best of circumstances, so even a friendship between them would bring baggage, but their lack of awareness about this could cause problems on the horizon...

I can't help but feel bad for Edward. He truly doesn't understand what he did that was so wrong. He was taking care of her, protecting her. That's his nature. She has to need him a little bit. He needs to be needed. He needs to know that she needs him, no matter what. It bothers me that Bella believes that it is possible to live without him. It isn't. She doesn't fully get the depth of their connection..... she cannot BE without him. Great update!
