The scene with Jacob was so much fun to write. Obviously, I'm a member of Team Edward – but through writing this story, I think I've come to a better understanding of Jacob's character.

Edward takes Bella to the carnival for the first time in her life. They play games and he wins her a teddy bear. Bella thinks it would be fun to go see a gypsy palm reader; Edward thinks it’s not such a good idea because of Alice . Bella drags him to the tent and they are greeted by Lady Zafrina. Edward excuses himself and goes outside. Bella apologizes to the gypsy and says they will be right back. Once outside, Edward yells at Bella. The gypsy hears everything and invites them in, promising nothing bad will happen. Frustrated Edward goes in and sits down. The gypsy has a plan that will help these two “walk in each others shoes” to understand one another more then they will ever know. Some OOC after the switch.

Great update. I have to admit, although I am adoring Jacob in this story, the fact that Bella wants to pursue the physical aspect of that relationship is a bit disturbing. I know she loves him... but she has experienced the Ultimate True Love, how can she just settle? Is that really fair to Jacob? And meanwhile, Edward is alone, thinking only of her, It breaks my heart. I am really enjoying this story. I am eager for more! Author's Response: I can understand your concerns. Bella will NOT be just forgetting about Edward, I assure you. In the entire 34 chapters that I have written he remains very much a part of her. However, with that said, that doesn't mean that she can't find happiness and love with wonderful, sweet Jacob. This is ultimately a Bella/Jacob story, but Edward is not going to be out of the picture.
