What were all of these feelings? He was supposed to be my friend and confidant, nothing more. I stole a glance at him from the corner of my eye. I instantly blushed when I realized he was staring back at me... How could a kiss that was completely structured and meticulous seem so entirely real? I closed my eyes, letting my fingers continue to dance across the stitching. Then I felt as if I had been shocked. My eyes opened and grew wide.
It was then that I realized it: I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
The whirlwind that was Twilight has ended. Now, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are on to the next part of the story: New Moon. While filming Twilight, Kristen and Rob shared a deep friendship that Kristen believed was there to stay. Once Rob is thrown into the limelight, their friendship dissapates. Will Kristen give their friendship another chance, or will she finally be forced to confess the feelings she has been hiding for so long?

I never noticed before how he had progressively carried more and more weight. My humanity and his immortality; the call of my blood and his unending thirst; my insecurities and stubbornness; his desperation to keep me safe; my precipitous abandon towards all things dangerous; his sacrifice of his own feelings to protect me; the guilt of his abandonment; the consequences of my relationship with Jacob…every little thing further weighed him down. Today was just the day that he finally succumbed to the burden.

Title: Chapter 5: Ties
I am enjoying this story very much. I must admit that, yes, I would have liked more E/B in this chapter, however, the dialogue between the other characters did emphasize that Bella is becoming a member of the Cullen family in her own right. The casual, comfortable banter between her and Jasper was wonderful. Clearly, her relationship with Rose has reached a new high as well. Great update. I can't wait for Edward to get back! Will the marriage conversation come up? Will Bella tell Edward that she told Charlie? Will Bella have to face Jacob again and "let him down"? How will Edward react to her seeing him again? I love the idea that Edward feels like he must reclaim her. I love jealous, possessive Edward so very much. After reading MS, I know how intrinsic that part of him is to his personality. He not only wants her to belong to him, but he needs it. I love it!!! Author's Response: I knew the lack of Edward would be a bit of a disappointment, but there was quite a need for some levity. There's also the fact that when you marry into a family, you get more than just a spouse. A whole new family comes with it. In regards to the Cullens, you're stuck with them for eternity. Bella needed to assert herself into that family as her own person, and to an extent, make up to them for actions with their brother. It requires a different kind of plan, that pretty much just revolves around being with them and accepting them. In the long run it'll make her relationship with Edward stronger, because he won't be stressing out and protecting her from them constantly.
I wish I could answer all your questions, but then you'd know everything that was going to happen in the story!

I am SO loving this story. I was hoping to read that Bella and Edward were going to live out that fantasy he had about cleaning up after the lab... maybe later, then??? They won't be able to keep their hands off of each other. I hope they continue with the phone sex, since they are going to try to keep apart.
I am not so much interessted in J & A's weekend right now. I am hot an bothered about our main lovebirds here. They are all I can think about. I want more, more, more!!! I love this story. SO. Wow. This was intense. What a sick fuck... At least Edward has proof of Banner participating in all of this. He could surely use that to protect Bella and himself. I don't blame Bella for being traumatized. After all of the things James had said about Edward, and Bella's knowledge of Edward's reputation... how can she be confident in anything he says to her? The seeds of doubt at there now! And poor Edward, he is so fiercely protective and possesive of Bella. He has to want to claim her now after witnessing James groping her the way he did.
Fantastic. I hope you enjoy your vacation.. then come back and write! This story is brilliant. I can't wait to read more!!

Wow. I couldn't help but feel butterflies when Edward replied "to find my girlfriend". I am so loving this story. This was fantastic. I'm so happy that Edward is realizing what he has done to Bella by using her as bait to trap James. Bella is right to think he's jsut using her to further himself. His track record speaks for itself. They haven't even been together for a week, their relationship was fragile to begin with, and undefined.
I can't wait to read what happens next!!!
