Hi, I'm a new fan of Twilight - I found this lovely series back when the DVD was released at the end of March. I fell in love with the romance, intrique and impossibility of it all. I then read all of the books and now i'm hooked!
I'm 31, married and an amateur writer - trying to work on my style of writing...Currently I have no fanfics but would love to work on one with another author...

okay so i thought the last chapter was harsh and this one was like HARSHER still! Is that even a word? okay i digress, you have me wanting more and more and more!

Okay gotta say it...we need more, please don't make us wait too long! Author's Response: (I wrote an ENORMOUS series for Whedon fandom and a one shot James Marsters actually wore on a T-Shirt he thought it was so funny, so yup! What an honour!)

okay I totally agree with your point about this story being about the journey and not the destination.
Some of the greatest stories have pain, tragedy, love, romance and saddness! I have 2 quotes i'm gonn share (not that you asked...but they speak to this topic)
“Bottom line is, even if you see them coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So, what are we, helpless? Puppets? Nah. The big moments are gonna come, you can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that count. That's when you find out who you are.”
Now this quote speaks to me on so many levels!!! The truth we don't see the big moments coming --- some are wonderous like the falling in love, or the day we realize we're gonna spend our lives with someone and some are so tragic like the death of a loved one --- the kind of death where you realize your life is forever changed and you're not sure how your heart will ever heal. However without any of these moments, how would you ever become the person you were meant to be?
and the next quote:

This quote has always talked to me on so many levels, yes without passion we'd know some kind of peace but we would be shuttered, and dank. Think what 'your' bella and edward would be without passion?
In the end, I love this story!!! It speaks to me on so many levels, and i'm loving the journey!!!!

Title: Chapter 25: Chapter 24 - Leave the Weapons Behind
Okay --- you know I love you and this story - but to me it almost seems like you're dragging it out for no purpose you know? There is SO MUCH drama in this story - even if you just focus on the story. I totally get taking in Carlisle's POV and Charlie's too...Charlie being told that's for sure...but this seemed like a filler chapter.
I'm in this for the long haul, so please post that next chapter soon....
Author's Response: I truly am not trying to drag it out and I am sorry that you feel that way. I appreciate the concern. I always meant for this to be a story about them all, not just E/B. I needed to get Charlie there and this chapter was the vehicle to do so. I chose Emmett because he has such deep empathy but always manages to keep perspective. Please don't fret as E/B are back in a big way in the next chapter. Please forgive and hang on with me.

Title: Chapter 27: Chapter 26 - Bare Hands
Loved hearing Charlie's POV...you are absolutely right about Charlie being an innocent victim in all this. Course in my mind so is Bella....she did nothing to deserve this, and her giving up isn't really even a choice.
So i have a question for you --- do you have any idea how many chapters this will be? around? Just curious where we are in this story!!!! Author's Response: Charlie is an innocent. Bella made her errors in my opinion. Although I understand COMPLETELY why she did it, in reality, she should have told Edward, or at least her dad, about her predicament and accepted help. But, at the same time, when you're alone and afraid and feel like you're no longer wanted by anyone, you'll do all sorts of things that aren't the best choices.
BTW, I am so glad you're back! I was afraid I scared you off! I love your reviews!
As for the length of the story, I wish I had an answer! LOL! I don't map it out and just write what is waiting in my head to come out and when it ends, it ends. I have a plan, but I don't know how long it will take to get there. I have written to chapter 35 now and it definitely has at least 10 chapters to go after that. And then I am thinking I'm going to write a multi-chapter epilogue of HEA material just to reward folks for hanging in there.

NO! You could never scare me off...I'm prolly slightly different than most readers...I take in the story as a whole, and not what I think should or should not be. Of course I want there to be an interaction between Bella and Edward...but I just love that you're making Edward wait it out - it's only fair after what he did to Bella and you're right - Bella could have talked to someone - hell anyone...but she was grieving and feeling unloved and unwanted...
I love your story --- I can't wait to see where you take it! I also love that you give me feedback as well!!!! It's so refreshing!

What you need and what you want don't always mesh well! Sometimes they are the polar opposite. What she wants is Edward but could she stand the pain of him leaving her again...most likely not. Title: Chapter 38: Chapter 37 - Don't Give Up
Another great chapter!!!!! I know Edward has to feel the guilt of this AND he should. But I also don't want Bella to forgive him like she did in New Moon. What Edward did by leaving her - broke her heart. It's nothing you can just forgive and not have residual feelings from.
I'd like to see some repair between Charlie and Edward...even it's minor here and there...they are both fathers now...so maybe Bella can't seem to forgive Edward and she's incapable of being with Elizabeth WITH Edward and Charlie says something to her...or even to Edward about what happens when you are a parent that you're feelings no longer matter - etc.
Love to see some Jasper resolution - hell i'd like to just see some more foul mouthed Jasper!
Author's Response: From your comments, I truly think you'll be pleased at the road I decided to take both with Bella and Edward and with Charlie. You may be the only one! LOL!
And OF COURSE you'll get more Potty!Mouth!Jasper!. Gosh, I feel like I could write a whole fic around him!
