Thank goodness for Clare. She is really what Jen needs at this time. Wow, I don't know what to say about Nick. I realize he has a job to do but damn he's an asshat. He was so disrespectful to Jen. Once again she handled the situation with respect. I would have handed him his ass on a platter. Author's Response: Yeah... he didn't NEED to be that much of a prick, so something more must be up with him. Surely Rob deserves happiness with whomever he wants, right? Can her age really be the reason?
Thank goodness she is mature enough to be able to handle the situation. I'd probably deck him to set him straight, but Jen is thinking about Rob here. She doesn't want to cause waves.

Title: Chapter 42: Chapter 42 The Isle of Wight
I realize that you wrote this chapter some time ago, but I really hope you didn't get a lot of grief over it. It is a story after all and you have the right to create the characters any way you see fit. If people don't like it then don't read it, but for heaven's sake don't freak over it. As far as his relationship status is concerned, as long as he is happy i'm happy. If it happens to be with Kristen then so be it. I know I don't have the chance so I figure there is no need to worry about it. I did tell my husband that if the opportunity presented itself I would drop him like a bad habit. I did think that Rob should have told Jen beforehand that she would be meeting his friends(including Kristen). Perhaps some of the drama could have been prevented. Anyway, another great chapter. Author's Response: thanks my dear. I was astonished by the well wishers and supporters. Kristen is such a tender subject. And i wanted to portray her in what i thought was a believable light, but knowing that some would find it offensive.
we don't know them , we don't know what they are like in private (thank goodness!) so while i hoped i could portray her as i think she might be, i wanted to make sure everyone knew it is still fiction.
as far as Rob's relationship status... as long as he is happy, i am happy. LOL! my hubs and i have the same discussion. If rob ever decides he is into the snapple lady... i am his girl... LOL!
Rob is a little oblivious at times... and he has issues with surprising poor Jen... a little advance warning would have been nice...
ah well. maybe he is learning.

I have to say Jen handled pantygate very well. I thought it was hilarious. I would have died if it had been my panties in Rob's pocket. Now that I think about it, it would be worth the embarrassment knowing what lead to the panties being there in the first place. Author's Response: BWHAHA! Pantygate! love it!
Her skin is toughening with the embarassing Robisms... maybe she will be blase and the Allergy comment he makes later in an interview....hehehe
And yeah... the manner in which they were removed in the first place... so worth it... like a badge of honor!

That would be hard to deal with. Constantly having people in your face would get old real quick. I can't imagine the kind of strain it would put on a relationship. Author's Response: So much scrutiny and lack of privacy would seriously get old quick.
So why would he want to come out and subject her to that? a hard decision. And they really need to be ready for it.
It will put a brand new dynamic on their relationship!

I hope that there is still some possibility that Jen can have children. I know it will never make up for the one she lost, but to be able to create a child with the one you love is a pretty powerful thing. I am shocked that he fired Nick. Author's Response: It is rather shocking htat he fired Nick, at least if you look at it from a real life perspective... he needs a manager. and nick was good at it, well, except for nearly tearing them apart...
what could nick have said to make Rob change his mind? hmmm.
oh my dear, about the children. you said it best. there is nothing like being able to create a child. And it is something that Jen truly desires above everything. She may say she has come to terms with it, but i don't think a woman ever could. You made me tear up a bit at that hope...it would be lovely.

As much as everyone wants to be with Rob, I really don't think they take into account what his life is really like. That would be extremely hard to live with. I hope they talk things out soon. That discussion really doesn't need to be put off. Author's Response: His life has to be so chaotic. so sad. He is so young and full of good energy, it is too bad he can't do everything a typical 23 year old can do. and on top of that imagine the image he would have to uphold with any girl... we have put him on such a high pedestal, how can he live up to that? how can he simply be a typical bloke?
he can't. and regardless of who he may or may not be with. that has to be hard on both of them.
I think Jen's maturity helps in this instance. She get this straightened out.
