I know Bella is hurting by Edward's actions but at this point it is probably for the best.  At least she is focused on her future.

Author's Response:

All is not lost but your assessment is right on!

Thank you for reading and reviewing!

I'm glad he agreed to dinner with her.  I think it did them a lot of good to talk and get to really know each other.

Author's Response:

Edward definitely wants more nights like that with Bella.  Only time will tell if he will get them!

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Bella really needed that time to have fun.  I'm sure it did her a world of good.

Author's Response:

It really did.  It's something she can hold onto as she heads into rougher waters.

Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I'm glad that things are better between them.  Migraines are a bitch.  It's fortunate that it wasn't something more serious.  I'm sure Charlie was scared to death.

Author's Response:

Migraines are the WORST.  Thankfully mine make seldom appearances these days, but there was a time when I suffered bi-monthly migraines.

Things need to be better for them because life is about to get worse before there are even signs of it getting better for Bella.

That was emotionally draining.  At least at the end of the day things were somewhat resolved.  Charlie's words were so sweet and just what Bella needed, and even though her relationship with Edward isn't the way she would like it to be right now, I don't think she could ever ask for someone as supportive as he is.  All people in her situation should be so lucky.  I won't even comment on Renee.  There aren't enough expletives to describe her.

Author's Response:

Believe me, it was draining to write it...I was exhausted afterward - completely spent.  Renee is a piece...there will be an a/n at the beginning of the next chapter acknowleding something about her.

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Bella is so fortunate to have Edward and Carlisle.  So many people have to go through situations like this alone and with subpar medical attention.  You have done an excellent job of portraying the emotional upheaval people go through in dealing with a terminal family member.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for saying that.  I'm so glad that is coming across the page in a relateable way.  It took a long time for my dad to find the right doctor, but he was wonderful and attentive - a trait I borrowed for the characterization of Carlisle.  Even if my dad was in the hospital for something other than a neurological situation, his neurologist made a point of stopping by.

Thank you for reading and reviewiewing, as always.

That was a wonderful chapter.  I know that meant the world to Charlie to be able to enjoy time with family and friends and to actually to be feeling well enough to enjoy it.

Author's Response:

Yep!  I'm trying to draw my inspiration from real life always, and this chapter was no exception.  I really appreciate you taking  your time to read and review!  Thank you :D

This is getting more difficult to read.  It is so written that I can't stop.  I'm so glad that Charlie lived to see her acceptance letter.  I thought it was sweet of him to let her know he approves of Edward.

Author's Response:

The relationship blessing is loosely based on true events, as is most of the story.  Thank you for reading and reviewing, it means so much to me as a writer.

That was so well written.  As hard as it is to let go I think you finally get to the point where it becomes selfish to keep wanting that person to stay around when they are suffering.  There is a lot to be said for quality of life.  I know whith my grandfather he was in so much pain and as much as it pained me to let go I just couldn't see him miserable anymore.  I finally got to the point where  I became okay with him passing.  I knew he wouldn't suffer anymore and that brought me peace.  I hope Bella can get to that point.  It made things easier for me.

Author's Response:

Thank you, I can't seem to say that enough these days!  I know exactly what you are saying about letting go.  I think with my dad, since he was sick for such a long time, it was easier to come to terms with the idea of that.  My mother in law, on the other hand, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and only lasted 6 mos, my husband didn't want to give up on her or let go and in some ways, he suffered as a result of his reluctance; time certainly provides clarity.

I appreciate your read and review, as always.

That was so well written.  It was so descriptive and you really touched on how things are when you get to those last few moments.  It really took me back to before my grandfather passsed.  Bella is so fortunate to have so many people who care for her and will be supportive of her during such a difficult time.  The grieving process is really just beginning for her.

Author's Response:

Your review is very touching and I'm so grateful for it.  The last moments of life are difficult and special to observe at the same time.  I can recall my dad's with perfect clarity, visually and physically.  I appreciate you!

Bella is so fortunate tohave so many people who care for her and who are going to support her during this difficult time.  I'm glad Emmett and Edward behaved themselves.

Author's Response:

Given the circumstance E & E better behave themselves!  Of course there's an uncomfortability there, but ultimately everyone is there for one reason: to help Bella through.  Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, as always!

I'm not bothered by Emmett and Bella's activity.  It is what is is.  No one was hurt.  I thought the service for Charlie was beautiful.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. I'm glad you found the funeral to be beautiful and can look past Em/B!  No one was hurt and no one will be.  *wink*

I know everyone wanted Edward and Bella together like yesterday but i think it's good that they waited until after Charlie passed.  They can take their time and really focus on their relationship now.

Author's Response:

Thank you!  Yes, even I had the urge to let them go there before the time was right, but THIS is the right time.  Thank you so much for reading and for your review.

That was a wonderful date.  She really needed that.  It's nice to see her enjoying herself for a change.

Author's Response:

Everyone deserves to be happy, I'm just glad that Bella is allowing herself to be and adhering to her father's wishes for her.

Slowly but surely Bella is moving along.  It's only natural to have setbacks.  I think it was smart of her to go apartment hunting on her own.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much!  Yes, moving on is a slow process but Bella is a strong girl and I think she's going to make it *wink*

If he isn't in love with her it has to be pretty close to it.  I'm glad she was honest about Emmett.  Technically they aren't together so she didn't have to but at least it is out in the open and done with.

Author's Response:

I think for her to move forward, she felt she had to start with a clean slate, even if she and Edward were not together when it happened.  And it is absolutely done with.

I thought it was sweet of Edward to be there for Bella in case she needed him after reading the letter about the readig of the will.

At least they will be able to see each other on the weekends.  That isn't so bad.  At least she doesn't have to go months at a time.

***BANNER BY READERGOOF.  THANK YOU DARLIN'***

Bella needed to change it up.  Moving to Savannah for a year after graduating from UGA seemed like a good plan.  However, bills needed to be paid, and money was tight.  Unfortunately, her playboy boss, Edward, doesn’t make her nights easy.  After reconnecting with old friends, a pattern of miscommunication about engagements and one night stands, and a stalker dead set on keeping the pair apart, Bella and Edward find themselves thrown together in a whirlwind of events that will shape both of their lives in ways they never imagined.  It's gonna get hot in the South!

Set in Savannah, Georgia.  OOC, AU-AH.  Canon couples.  Lots of lemons.  Some violence.

I thought it was a great chapter.  I'm sure something like that takes time to get over and they haven't really talked to each other about how it affected them.

I have to admit that i was a little concerned at first as to whether or not Bella would say yes.

Dr. Denali doesn't waste any time does she?  She gets right to the point.  One of the few times i've actually liked Tanya.

Poor Bella...sounds like she's had it kind of rough.  At least it seems like things are going to get better.

I'm thinking Rose and ALice are going to have to give Bella plenty of lessons on dealing with men.

My friend met her future in laws for the first time as she was being pounded from behind across the billiard table.  Bella is pretty bold for someone with practically no experience.  I guess Edward can bring that out in a girl.

Thank goodness for Jasper or Edward's assaholic behavior would be through the roof.  I can only imagine what he would have said to Bella if he hadn't of talked to Jasper first.
