I'm a part time accountant, full time wife and mommy. My hubby and I have been blessed with a beautiful daughter and a precious infant son.
I used to write incessantly back in high school and college, even going so far as to have several poems and short stories published... but life got in the way and I fell out of the habit. As with most talents, when you don't use it, you lose it. I always regretted the loss of the words...
Being on maternity leave when my son was born in March of 2009, and then having my hours cut to part time left me with a LOT of time on my insomniac hands, and I started reading all of the wonderful stories here at Twilighted.
Somewhere in a sleep deprived fog I was listening to a Heidi Newfield song and had an overwhelming desire to start writing again... and my first fanfic story idea was born. I've since started a second story, and I'm alternating back and forth on getting them written.
I'm hoping to have the first one finished and start submitting soon, but I have to go back and do a massive rewrite on three chapters because PPD kind of took the story places it wasn't meant to go.
Twilight-wise... I am an E/B girl all the way. I just realized that in everything I have written or am working on, if Nessie isn't part of the story then Jacob is the bad guy. Sorry wolf=packers... no Furry love here.
**I have a curse. I have these awesome stories, I get 20 or so chapters in and then I can't finish. Still trying. I know I promised to alert a few people if I ever got to the point of posting...**
**Well, I'm still trying to get over the speedbumbs in Unrequited, but my other multi-chapter needs massive reworking. The post partum depression that initially derailed me did too much structural damage to that story and I need to basically start over on it. I think I'll wait til after Unrequited is being posted though... It's all just a big mash in my head.**
**I think I made a breakthrough in my multi-chap! WooHoo, go me! So recap... Multi-chap that is about 75% done now, another one that is languishing until I can figure out how to fix all of the damage my PPD caused it, and three one shots that I work on when I get stuck on chapters. Good thing I only sleep three hours a night or I'd never get anything done! GO TEAM INSOMNIACS!**
PS: Just in case anybody wonders... I have a hard time reviewing a story before it's complete. I can love it with a fiery passion and still not be able to reveiw it effectively. If I'm reading a story of yours, be patient with me... you'll hear from me at some point I promise!!!!!!

OK, I initially felt weird about a Jasper/Rosalie story... it just seemed like incest. (Oddly enough I have that same reaction to Alice/Edward, but not to any other pairing...)
BUT as I read through it I really liked who they were in this story and how you brought them together.

Excerpt
As I walked into the kitchen, my assistant, Alex, and my father both stopped talking. I looked at them and realized neither of them would meet my eye.
“OK, you two. Why do I get the feeling that my day is about to suck?”
They looked at each other. I could tell that they were each hoping the other would break whatever news it was they were dreading to tell me. Alex finally decided Dad wasn’t going to cave in. She grabbed a copy of GOSSIP magazine, threw it at me, and literally ran out of the house! I looked at the cover. The headline screamed,
“ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART CAUGHT ON CAMERA!”
“Not again!” I steamed. “Are these people trying to put themselves out of business? They’ve already had to pay us a million dollars. She’s his sister-in-law! When are they going to give it up already!”
I knew that our press agent, Randy, would call me after he had the lab issue the official forensic photographer’s report that the picture was in fact, fake. When I hadn’t heard from him by lunchtime, I had Alex get him on the phone.
“Hey, Bella.”
Bella? I thought. He’s never called me, ‘Bella,’ in my entire life. He’s called me ‘Tink,’ short for ‘Tinker Bell,’ since they day I was born.
“Hello, Mr. Spencer,” I said, to let him know I picked up on his formality.
“Sorry, Tinker Bell, I was, ah, distracted.”
Something in his tone made me very uneasy.

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23 Epilogue special outtake
:) All along, I've wanted Rolle to be happy. He's just a very compelling character. Much like with Edward in the saga, his flaws are very real but they give him depth of character. You want to see him overcome and realize he deserves happiness.
I'm actually glad you didn't just wrap it all up in a pretty, overly done package. There is real work in any relationship and they know they have a lot of it in front of them... but they are going to do it together. THAT is love... choosing to fall for the same person everyday no matter what obstacles you are going to face.
P.S Are you already stalking me? I thought I saw a chick with binoculars outside my office today... LOL!!! I wish I would've been able to get to you in enough time to be a pre-reader too, my addiction would've gotten fed that much quicker. I'm never more than a PM away if you ever feel like you need an extra set of eyes. :) Author's Response: Yeah, I've had a couple folks ask for more Rolle, but since this is "Twilight" fiction, I can't see doing more Rolle until he get's his own searchable topic on Fanfiction.net. But by then, he'll have his own TV series!!! LOL

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19 - He Who Replies to Words of Doubt
Very deep and I actually want to go sit and think a bit now. Author's Response: I have to say that this chapter worried me... like, a LOT. I debated using it at all, but my struggle throughout the entire story has been about why Carlisle and Aro are friends and why Aro should have known better than to let himself be swayed by Caius. I kept coming back to the fact that Carlisle stayed with the Volturi, willingly, for seventy years. It had to have been something intellectual or romantic.... and I just couldn't get my head around the 2nd option. So I went for the brains and Aro suited that role well with everything he knows.
I post chapter 20 the same time I posted 19 (cuz I was worried folks would flounce), but I don't see it up yet. I'll check on that.

I think the best way for me to answer your question is to give you a teaser for you from chapter 5....
Rolle paused at the mirror looking at himself. Everything was so confusing. Edward had been wracked with so much guilt about losing control during intimacy and hurting Bella, and without a second thought Rolle had sex with Rachel. The reality of it stunned him.
He had sex with Rachel.
He had no idea where the urge came from. Sixty-six years of abstinence... No. Sixty-six years of devotion, grieving Gillian's death, and his entire consciousness was consumed with a need for Rachel's body in an instant. Once the reality of her around him, hot and wet, had hit him, all he could remember was the last night he'd had Gillian. The memory of her loving arms crushed him, but it was too late and his body's need — long denied — was too great.

I like that Rachel seems to be able to stabilize Rolle somewhat. I'm sure he's nowhere near completely sane, but she seems to calm him... Rolle didn't undertand what he was himself for a very long time, and I think he is still accepting that he is a vampire rather than a demon like he believed. I can see why being blunt would make sense to him... it solidifies the reality for him and it puts everything on the line for Rachael.
She can accept and listen to him... or think he's crazy and walk away. If she accepts what he says the worst is already out in the open, if she walks he can get her a cab and hop into the ocean until he gets back to the Cullens and has some help to regulate his emotions again. Author's Response: I've loved having your along for this ride, honey. Your reviews are always so compelling and insightful. If we had met earlier as the story was coming together, I would have asked you to be one of my pre-readers!
