Summary: 
It's Bella's 18th birthday, and what does she want more than immortality? Her darling Edward's loving company—minus the clothing. To her surprise, Edward caves and when Bella gets some, she gets WAY more than she bargained for. Cue Edward's standard self-sacrificing departure, a snarky, homicidal Victoria with some powerful connections, and a new Bella who grows a belly and a backbone and goes on her own little hunting trip in Denali to find answers.
Farewell is a twisted tale where everything is not always as it seems. There is an underlying current of betrayal that may knock your socks off on one or two occasions. A FRIENDLY WARNING: This story is not full of fluffy bunnies and rainbows and unicorns. It has the tendency to be very dark, in both drama and humor, on some occasions. Title: Chapter 11: History
I just caught up on your story and read all ten chapters and wanted to tell you that I've thoroughly enjoyed it. It is so well written that I found myself teary eyed after reading a couple of chapters. Now after catching up, I'm anxious over what will be happening next. Thanks for such a good story. Title: Chapter 12: White Horse
Finally, a fic where Edward has to do some work to get Bella back. Even if she still loves him he should have to put a some effort into "fixing" their situation. It's just so anticlimactic in those fics where Bella just runs back into Edward's arms and everything is fine. Edward made a bad decision and treated Bella like a child and although he claims to have acted selflessly - it was very selfish and he has a lot to make amends for. Another great chapter for your intriguing story. I may be one of the few, but I like Conner and hope he continues to play an important part in Bellas life. Erin Author's Response: I agree...i didn't like when bella is so weak that she automatically runs back to Edward. if he had left me, i would find it extremely difficult to trust him or be with him and it would take a while for me to actually believe that he loves me. i'm glad you like conner and we'll just have to see what sort of role he takes on in bella's future.

Title: Chapter 13: Revenge
NOOOOOOOOO!!!! You can't leave us hanging like that! (LOL) But Holy freaking shit, that was a pretty intense chapter. Your characterization of Victoria is by far the most sadistic that I've read. I guess in a way, it'll make what she'll eventually get in the end (I'm right aren't I?) so much more satisfying. Summary:

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6
I love it when Jake is gay, it's the only time that I can really tolerate him in a relationship with Bella. Your Jake is meddlesome, pushy, all the great characteristics to be a teriffic gal pal. Masen - what can I say, except that I want to grab him and hug him and never let him go - he's just so dang adorable!!
Now as for Edward, I just want to string him up (naked, of course wouldn't hurt). I can't wait to hear what he has to say and see how he manages to get himself out of the douche zone.
You have a really fun story going on here. It's a great read and I look forward to reading more.

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8
I kept passing this story up and tonight I finally caved and read it and I'm glad I did. I'm not a real angsty gal and although your story sure has a lot of it, it's not the real heavy, heart fail so I haven't had to worry so much about my heart failing.
For me, this is quite an original storyline and I've gotten caught up in it. I'm sure your Edward and Bella's reunion will be quite epic but probably not until after Emmett and Rose find each other, right?
I look forward to seeing how the two lovers will finally find each other.
Summary: 
Edward leaves Bella, much like the beginning of 'New Moon', however, this time, they are all human and there is quite the twist. Why did Edward leave Bella? And what secret is Bella keeping when he leaves?
Can they make a nightmare turn into a dream?

Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 14 - Strong Enough
I'm sorry but I have no sympathy for Edward. He really should have his backside...well you know. Treating him with kid gloves and walking around him is just wrong on so many levels. And, again I'm sorry, but I fault Carlisle as he is again making some very bad decisions.
I can't wait to see how you fix this because right now - I just see this as getting worse as no one is stepping up (aside from Emmett) and saying just screw Edward and let's do the right thing. And here I thought that Edwards was the stupid one. Bella wins the stupidity contest hands down. For an 18-year old, she sure is acting like a terrible 2-year old who needs a really good bottom blistering.
