Howdy! I'm Miki *points above* and I'm a Twilight/Edward/Jasper/smutty fic-aholic. *listens to chourus of "Hi, Miki"* I'm fairly new to the whole world of Twilight (I think I started the first book a few months ago), but I've jumped in head first. Acutally, I more did a cannon ball into the pool, but all the same. Right now I've got a one shot that's being edited and two chaptered fics I'm working ont (like I said, cannon ball), so you should be able to read what I do some time soon. Hopefully. *fingers crossed*
I am all for cannon pairings and storys, but like to delve into AU from time to time. And while I am hard core Team Edward, once in a while I'll write or read a little something that's Team Jacob. Normally I'm not so wishy washy, but those boys do bring it out in me. hehe
As for me, I'm 23, married, and working on going back to college so that I can one day teach snoby teenagers the joys of Math. Really, I'd rather teach them the joys of English, but NY is about chock full of English teachers. I love Math and English (almost) equally, so hence my choice.
I am obsessed with Twilight (obviously), Harry Potter, House of Night, knitting, chrocheting, House (though I drool over Chase and Wilson more than House), and those crazy science shows that tell you why time doesn't exist. I think if I watch one more show about the theory of realitivity my husband is going to cut the cable cord. hehe

Summary: This is an alternative ending to New Moon AU and slightly OOC, for Bella anyway. It starts when Rosalie calls Edward to tell him what Alice saw. Rosalie tells Edward that Bella jumped and that Alice went back to Forks to check on her. Edward decides to come back to find out what is going on. Also, Victoria does not make a newborn army in Seattle...but don't worry about that just yet ;)
  
WARNING: This is not a "Jacob is the devil" type of story. Even though it will end up with ExB, if you want to stab Jake, then you probably shouldn't read this fic 'cause I love him and I will not write him as a complete ass.

Perfection! I love Charlie, and I love your writing, and you, of course. Is the age of consent in WA really 16? I know it's different all over the country (it's 18 here in NY, and I think it's real young, like 15 or something, in WV). Interesting.... Author's Response: Yeah, I actually had to look up the age of consent in Washington, and I was pleasantly surprised when it worked out perfectly for Jake's smart-ass remarks. I think in Texas, where I am, it's 17, but then again, I've never had any reason to check it out.
Summary: Companion story to Breathe Again, written as a side to Post #43: Waiting. Victoria pieces together the circumstances behind James's disappearance and plans her revenge. One-shot.

Summary:  Edward is a 27-year-old alcoholic/addict struggling with his recovery. Bella is a 23-year-old who's moved back home after college. This fic chronicles how they meet, fall in love, and struggle with the complexities of their relationship. Not nearly as maudlin as it sounds (I hope).
Rated NC-17 for graphic (and sometimes non-romantic) sex, drug and alcohol use and abuse, profane language, and brief (very brief) suicidal ideation (although NO suicide attempts). No sexual assault, no cutting.

So, Bella knows Edward's an addict, but she doesn't know his drug(s) of choice yet. Wonder how she'll react when she does. And wonder what Edward's reaction will be after that convo. Obviously, he thought that she took it badly. Poor Edward.

Okay, while hot as hell, I'm a little worried about Edward. He shouldn't depend on Bella for his recovery, that's somehting he has to build up himself. Going from one crutch to another is no good at all.
I love this story, it's so great.
