Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7
I like Jasper, but he is definately causing some problems for Bella. I really hope Edward isn't upset with her 'slip' in emotion, hopefully he is concerned and will make her talk to him. Oh, and she needs to tell him about her former student or I think it is going to come back and bite her. especially since he showed up again.
Summary: Edward over hears a very juicy secret regarding his younger sister, Alice. The plot to blackmail Alice in order to get closer to her best friend, Bella, forms in his mind, but doesn't exactly pan out the way he wants it to. Rated for Edward's foul mouth and the sprinkles of lemonade with the eventual lemon.

Title: Chapter 1: And I plan on giving Bella plenty...
I remember when I first read this that what drew me in was the way you brought the main conflict of the story in right at the very begining. The opening with Alice and and Bella in her room, and then Edward entering the picture. The instantly charged connection between Edward and Bella that you built up was not only intense, but believable. These two have a history, but it was like two people who have been apart for years and are only now really seeing each other for the first time. I know that originally you created this as a one-shot. I loved how you ended it, but am very glad that you ended up continuing.

Title: Chapter 1: Britt is short for Brittany
The beginning was a little confusing especially with the introduction of a new non-Twilight character, however I was glad to find out we were in Bella's POV. I liked how you described her panic at seeing Edward again. That was some first encounter! Bella finding Britt on the steps of the library was unexpected. Her power explains how Alice and Edward weren’t able to see Bella in the beginning, and I’m assuming that is going to be a major plot point going forward. Given the way Britt was changed I’m sure she has an interesting back story. I’m wondering who changed her and why she is now on her own. And I can’t believe Bella tried to get Laurent to change her! Not using all of her brain there was she. I really liked the flow of the story. The only real negative I have is that you opened the story with something that obviously happens way in the future, but that is just me. I had the same issue with the Twilight books. Yep, I got the whole 'preview of a later scene' bit from S.M., so if you didn't like it when she did it, I certainly wasn't going to be able to convert you, lol. I can see where it would be a little jarring. I know a lot of readers will decide in a paragraph or two if they want to read further or click back, and I guess I wanted to make it clear that this story is about Bella and Edward at heart. I was afraid if I started with Britt at the library, it would seem like she was going to be the main character throughout.
Britt's backstory comes out eventually, but it takes a while. The Volturi keep getting in the way.
Have really enjoyed the WL so far. Glad I entered.

I liked hearing his POV. He doesn't seem like a bad guy here. Of course he doesn't keep very good friends. It will be interesting to see if he stays on the good guy side and how Jake and Edward react to him. lol. Cause you know Edward will find out sooner or later. Author's Response: Well, let's just say that he's a bit of a mix. But I like him. (I've always kind of gone for the bad boys... Never really did anything about it, but I had my little fantasies. lol)
And, yes, Edward will definitely find out... Not saying anything else for now.

Well what do I think of Bella? I thik she has a stick up her butt, and needs something or someone to releave some of that stress for her. Maybe our boy Edward will do the trick. lol.
The chapter was well written. Bella is obviously OOC in this one. I was surprised by her treatment of her employees, but again we will see how the addition of Edward to the staff shakes things up. ;)

Title: Chapter 5: Special Talents
I think this was my favorite chapter so far. I really liked the interaction between Edward and Jasper. And I loved it when Edward flashed back to Bella's birthday. I'm really hoping we will be seeing more of Jasper. Author's Response: Thanks for your review, Eki! Jasper will be in the next few chapters at least. I love his "special talent" and want to include him in this fic. The mind-reading/emotional manipulation combo makes Edward and Jasper simply fascinating characters!

This is a good start. I'm assuming that blur there at the end was Edward. That should be interesting.

Title: Chapter 2: Stalker
Interesting twist that she's actually hearing him. I liked the conversation with Alice, but I've always enjoyed that sibbling connection they seem to have. Author's Response: Hi Eki! I missed Edward in New Moon, and vamplicious gave me that idea to have him actually there when she hears him, instead of the more traditional hallucinations. Though I didn't want him to speak out loud or then everybody would hear him.
I've always enjoyed reading your dialogues betwen Edward and Alice, so you provide good inspiration!
Regarding the 20th, I had to schedule clients until 2:00 but I'd be free 2:30ish or later depending on the movie schedule? My caseload has exploded out of control of late. Thanks chica!

Title: Chapter 3: Waking Up

lol. I can't belive how far behind I am. You are a writing machine! ;)
My favorite line in this chapter was, "He froze, inhaling her intoxicating bouquet, and his already constricted throat began powerfully burning. Instead of expectedly causing him pain, her scent flooded him with gratitude. He hadn't realized how deeply he had been craving his personal brand of heroin." I just loved this. It seemed very Edward like.
I wasn't expecting him to ask for Jasper's help although it does make sense. I have to agree that I think Alice's vision of the red bike was a 'little' off. :) Author's Response: Merry Christmas, Eki! How is yours going? We are preparing a meal at my sister's house, and we'll be opening gifts later tonight. I think tomorrow we're going to see the movie Blind Side. I sat next to a woman on the plane who made me think of you--I'll tell you more later.

Nina sounds like she has some back story. So she is Harry's neice. Interesting.
I was missed Edward in this chapter, but maybe next? :)
Oh and I can't wait to hear about you're plane trip. Author's Response: Yep, Nina is Harry's (estranged) niece. You'll be hearing why she and her mom Wuti are not close to the Quileutes, as well as some other pieces of Nina's story. Her connection to Charlie is revealed in Chapter 7.
It's funny because I didn't intend to have Edward be part of this story until much later, but then I learned the error of my ways. ;-) Next chapter is all Edward and Jasper as I recall. Thanks Eki!

Title: Chapter 6: Life Without Ed
I am still so liking Jasper's addition to the story. I really wish he'd keep pushing Edward to realize how miserable Bella is without him. That she feels as empty as he does.
Nina is such an interesting twist. I'm really wondering at her internal comment about Billy Black. Author's Response: That's great you're liking Jasper in this story. I really like your Jasper in Perspective, so that means a lot to me. Unfortunately I don't think he's going to be very pushy with Edward on this issue, since I don't think Jasper has it in him to be pushy. Although Jasper is a strong character, I tend to view Edward as the one "wearing the pants" in their relationship for some reason.
In chapter 9 (you're almost caught up, yay!) you'll find out how the Black and the Whitefish family have intertwined in the past. Thanks Eki!

You did a nice job with Nina's flashback. I could just see Charlie coming to the rescue.
Jasper's reaction to Bella's retelling of the day Edward left her was very powerful. I kind of hoping that Jasper gives his brother a good tongue lashing in the next chapter. Author's Response: I figured that Charlie would be a great rescuer, given how protective he is of Bella. I'm sure Charlie has seen lots of bad things in his days as Police Chief. Just like Bella had a rescuer from potential rapists, so did Nina, thankfully.
Edward felt extremely low upon learning how Bella truly reacted to his departure. This seemed to be glossed over in the book, but in this story Edward is hearing the awful details. You know me and my proclivity for making the male protagonist suffer, hee hee. It's just too fun. It's sick, really. ;-)

Title: Chapter 8: Totems
Wow. Bella really opened up in this one. I liked how she discribed her relationship with Edward while keeping the whole vampire thing out of it.
I can't wait to see Edward with Nina. That should be fun. I really can't wait until he realizes that being with Bella really is the best thing for both of them and that he has to stop making decisions for her. Author's Response: Have you thought about your totem, Eki? I looked over the list and wondered about ant, bee, goose, or woodpecker? :-) I was trying to find a totem that related to spirituality but I didn't see one.
Bella opened up faster than she thought she would! She has to tread carefully to keep the Cullen's secret.
I hope you'll find Edward with Nina fun! At least I plan on having fun, and I hope you will too. I've started that chapter but have a ways to go--I wish I could get writing done during the workweek, waah.

Title: Chapter 9: Hogs and Wolves and Bears, Oh My
Hm. Not sure about the animals. I've always loved Dolphin's, but after reading the discription I don't think that's me. I'm not sure I feel like I fit exactly into any of them really.
This chapter was a little harder for me to read for a couple of reasons. One, I'm not a huge Jake fan and there is a lot of Jake in this. And two, I'm not sure how I feel about Bella getting angry at Edward as she's driving. That felt very out of character for her. I'm guessing though that this bit is important to the direction your going in your story though.
Again, I liked the interaction between Jasper and Edward. It did surprise me though that Edward didn't wait at the treaty line. That just so seems like something he'd do no matter what the consequences. The counseling sessions between Edward and Nina should be interesting. Author's Response: Yeah, one of my colleagues introduced the concept of totems at a staff meeting (I immediately glommed onto stealing the idea for this fic!) and several coworkers could not identify a totem quickly or at all. I was using them more as trying to match the personality of the individual to the totem, but I don't think that's really the idea behind it.
I just realized that you don't have Jake in your stories at all, right? He annoys me as well so I don't want to focus on him too much, but since I'm doing a NM fic I did want to have him in part of the story. I totally agree that Bella getting angry at Edward is OOC. (I guess the only anger she displayed in the books was toward herself.) I've been trying to keep the protagonists in character but this is where they might diverge from canon. Therapy is all about change, so I will be showing Bella and Edward going through some internal changes that will likely depart from the books.
You're very prescient in your comment about Edward crossing the treaty line! Hee hee. That IS something he might do, but Alice's visions about the "bikes" was not quite right so he is unaware of the danger Bella is in for now.

This first book is a unique turning point in the arc of his character.

Title: Chapter 1: Revelations - Chapter 13
I really enjoyed this first chapter. You did a nice job with Edward's conflict, but also his compulsion to be with Bella.
Their conversation about the books was very well done. I could actually see them walking through the halls totally engrossed in each other. :)
Can't wait to see what you do with the rest of it. Author's Response: I should say that the conversation about the books was not all me. I asked some other Twi-fans questions about their favorite books and litterally felt like Edward wondering why they liked a certain thing or didn't like another thing. It was really helpful to get that collaboration, and it was fun for some fans to sort of be interviewed by Edward and be found so fascinating. :]

Title: Chapter 35: Chapter 35: Confront
I have to say that I was a little surprised at Bella getting punished for the fight as well given the circumstances. Granted, I'm no expert on school policies for fighting, however, I would think that given the fact that she was being bullied and the bully attacked her because she reported the bulling that she would not be held responsible for the fight at all; she was just defending herself. I know that if I was Charlie and found out that happened to my daughter, I'd be having a few chosen words with the principal.
It was good to see Bella finally standing up for herself in this chapter and fighting for she and Edward's relationship. The whole story it's really been Edward pushing and pulling; here we FINALLY got to see her put her foot down. I'm looking forward to what this new found confidence will bring her. I'm sure Edward will like it. ;) Author's Response: Fighting is prohbited, no matter who started it. Also, when Mrs. Denali showed up, Bella looked just as guilty. I mean she was straddling Tanya and threatening to rip an earring from her ear...so Mrs. Denali punished Bella as the school conduct code spelled out. Charlie WILL be pissed, and he will have words with Mrs. Denali.
As for E/B...the shift in their relationship is going to be huge. Right now he is feeling terrible about himself because he has always been her protector and Mrs. Denali's words made him realize he's failed miserably. However, as you said...Bella is FINALLY putting her own foot down and will not let Edward continue with his little pity party.

I thought it was funny that Edward had Jake call and ask Bella out. I get his reasoning, but Emmett is right. He just needs to come out and tell her that he likes her, wants to take her out, and let the cards fall where they may. Edward's comment there at the end did upset me a little. Sounds like he needs to come to terms with what he finds attractive physically from a woman and forget about his peers. Harder said that done I know.
