Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1
I must say this, and I do so with a tremor in my voice and a tremble in my heart, that was a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful thing you wrote. I am completely awed by the sweetness, romance, and desperation of it all.
The setting alone created an almost surreal and Heavenly feel to this most important of moments. The breeze, whispering it's blessing on the love it enveloped; the gentle sway of the tulips, as they danced in celebration of the seductive rhythm of B&E's passionate moans and sighs; and the setting sun, as it emitted it's warm glow, enveloping the lovers and baptizing their love for all eternity. It was as if God himself was granting them the Heaven they so desperately earned and deserved.
But it's in your reverent portrayal of Edward that your obvious love and appreciation of him shines and blinds us with his inner beauty. He is so incredibly innocent, and humble, and genuinely the most in love man in the history of love itself, that even his fears and deepest desires burst through only by means of his complete surrender to his what he deems is his utter selfishness. The need to be with Bella, enjoy life with Bella, and HAVE Bella has never before been written with such reverence and love. You see him as we do, feel him as we do, and love him as we do.
The want to take care of him, appreciate him, and celebrate him was beautifully written through Bella's loving thoughts. You managed to free our need for his complete surrender through this most glorious of moments.
While I'm unable to fully understand your meaning of this "will not necessarily play into remaining chapters”, does that mean it might? Does it greatly interfere with your future plans for NICE CATCH? Because honestly, Dear, I cannot fathom for the life of me how it’d ever be possible to top this. PERFECT is what it is. I mean, how much more romantic and epic a way for our B&E to finally make love than under God’s canopy of Heaven itself, amidst an endless sea of sweet tulips?
I adored this. It was beautiful, elegant, and divine. Much like B&E’s love.

Wow, well let me start by saying that your review has literally left me in tears. I am so thankful for you and it for many reasons, but I'll just say that finding time to write...and by write, I mean truly sit and let these characters be who they need to be in this story has been difficult, so now that it's been easier to do lately, I have really tried pouring my heart into them and their story. To know that you found it fitting for them and their tale is priceless to me.
Now, your unbelievably beautiful and articulate way of disecting the story, its setting, imagery, and characters is truly astounding. I don't feel equipped to thank you for such incredible compliments, because quite frankly...you've let me speechless with your praise.
I will say that starting from my first read of Twilight, I developed an incredible love for the character, Edward. He is someone to truly sympathize with, adore, and admire for his strength and integrity. He is also a tortured soul, and the nurturer in me wants nothing more than to care for an love him. I yearned for Bella to take away his pain and in turn, let him be everything that she needed in her life. You're right, I do "revere" him. I think Stephenie Meyer did a fantastic job of crafting a character that came to life from the page and left us (I can't speak for all because we know many are Jacob fans and there's nothing wrong with that) in awe of his unbelievable heart. The man is good. It's that simple.
Also, the comment about the outtake not necessarily playing into the rest of "Nice Catch" simply meant that I've not decided for sure if their lovemaking here will be referenced in Ch. 17 or if it will be alluded to in later chapters in a different setting...that's all. It's mainly a timeline thing, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to write them and their love in the field. It just felt right. Hence, the story title. ;) corny, huh?
So, thank you a million times over, icrodriguez. I don't deserve such support and loving praise. You are so appreciated, and I may not always say it, but I have always found your comments and faithful reviews to be the most awe inspiring imaginable. YOU are lovely.

Title: Chapter 2: Butterflies and Hurricanes
Ok, I am very intrigued by this and find myself anxiously waiting for more.
But just one question.....WHERE IS EDWARD? Has he evaded the authorities? Has he ever tried to contact Bella? Is her perhaps watching her from afar?
I'm sorry. But did you ever mention where he is now? Author's Response: Oh my gosh, I feel lie this is Dallas. who shot JR? where is Edward?! XD
That answer will come into play next chapter. I absolutely promise.
No, I didn't mention where Edward was before, and I wasn't trying to hide him per se, but his presence just wasn't required yet. i never thought I'd get the reactions I have over his whereabouts, though. Maybe I should just keep him away another couple chapters... Kidding. Don't panic. XD

Summary: 
Isabella Swan moved to Chicago in the fall of 1917. Her life has been a constant mess of chaos since her father voluntarily joined the Army in 1916 and is now serving in World War I. After Charles Swan left his family, Bella’s mother, Renee could no longer stand living in the rainy woods of Forks, WA. Renee accepted a job in her hometown of Chicago as a hair stylist, uprooting Bella and changing her life forever.
When the ungraceful and awkward Bella arrives in Chicago she meets Edward Masen. Edward is the son of a lawyer and is moderately wealthy. Bella is smitten with him immediately but knows he is out of her reach. Something about her attracts him in an unusual way and their love blooms overnight. Although their relationship is fickle at first, Bella realizes how much she truly loves him and dreams of marrying him. In May of 1918 Bella’s life takes an unexpected turn when her mother decides it’s time to move, again. This time to Boston. Bella does not want to leave Edward. She plans to move back to Chicago in September of that same year when she turns 18.
Bella and Edward communicate through letters until Bella’s last letter never receives a response. She fears that Edward has enlisted in the army as World War I is raging. Although Edward never replied to her request, just as she planned, she moves back to Chicago, leaving her mother behind. She fears the worst and hopes that Edward has not left her or moved on. She has no money and no job and unless she can enroll back into school, she has no education. She’s helpless and alone. When she finally arrives on Edward’s street she is surprised to learn that it has been quarantined due to a Spanish Influenza outbreak. Not sure of where she should go next she searches the local hospitals. Finding some important information at St. Joseph’s Hospital will change Bella’s life forever.

Now THIS took a turn that I welcomed with great excitement! I don't know why, but I NEVER expected you to go the Edward-vamp route. I don't know why it never occurred to me that you would. But I am SO relieved you did! And I truly can't wait to see where you're heading with this.
But I do wonder why Carlisle wouldn't think to change Bella as well. securing Edward his mate forever? Is it out of fear that both he and Bella would abandon him? Is it for fear that Bella's family might come looking for her?

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Forever
Is that the end?
For mercy's sake, say there will be an epilogue. Who changes her? Most certainly Carlisle, but did Edward have to convince him to join Bella to him forever?
So many unanswered questions. This was beautifully written, but I can't help but feel like there is more to it.
I pray there is. I truly loved this story, but I beg of you to please give us an epilogue of sorts. And dare I ask....from Edward's pov?
THAT would be the epitome of true resolution.

Title: Chapter 21: Chapter 21 Maddening Meltdowns
It's really frustrating how much cock-blocking goes on here. Not that it's necessary for any real action to take place between E&B so early on in their relationship. But seriously, the cock-blocking by almost every other character is over kill. Is there such a thing as 'privacy' in this story? Apparently not.
Fun read, but really highly frustrating.
Summary: This story recognizes canon up to the battle with the newborns in Eclipse, veering into AU territory shortly thereafter. Though Riley is destroyed, Victoria escapes, causing a chain of unexpected events. (Jacob is not injured during the fight and there is no appearance by Bree or the Volturi at the end of the battle in this universe.) Chapters will alternate between Bella, Jacob, Edward, and OC's POVs. Please note that though some actions may be bit OOC, it is only to allow for further character development.
The Volturi, angered by Victoria's actions, have placed a bounty on her head, attracting a mysterious tracker. Ok. SO FANTASTIC. It wonderfully picks up the same rhythm and flow of ECLIPSE. B&E are very much in canon. And the party scene was a blast.
But did Edward mean that Alice had called to warn him that he was about to hurt Bella with his 'passionate moment'? So much so that he'd leave her DRUNK at a Mike Newton party with Victoria lurking around? Huh?

Title: Chapter 29: Flimsy Walls
I am absolutely loving the direction your story is taking. And I'm extremely intrigued with what could possibly be tethering Edward to Heidi.
Here's my guess: perhaps Heidi is blackmailing Edward somehow. Because of the almost affection with which Edward spoke of Aro, I don't think it involves Aro directly. Oooh the possibilities are endless!
And I am very much loving the intimate and romantic gestures Edward is bestowing on Bella. And the best part about it is that I don't think he does it consciously. The way he takes her hand as they're walking, the way he leans into her and breathes her in, it's almost natural and instinctive. Much like the time he laid his head on Bella's lap and momentarily surrendered to her soothing caress.
Your story is wonderfully romantic. I can't wait to read more.

I love how Bella's maturity has made her able to understand the motives behind Edward's leaving, realizing that he was right to having done so.

I can't remember if I ever asked you, but will we ever be blessed with an EPOV chapter? Perhaps an outtake? Your story is seriously begging for one, as am I! :)
I love how delicately romantic your writing is. It's mesmerizing.
Summary: While we were all busy pining for Edward during New Moon, he was doing some serious pining of his own. What would you do if you were the worst possible thing for someone for whom you wanted naught but the best? If the best time of your life had been little more than a curse for someone who's life you cared about so much more than your own? If you had to hurt so badly the last person you wanted in pain, in order to give them a chance at life?
What if you had to leave true love, but could never tell them you were sorry?
When memories don't fade, when there is no sleep to provide an escape and time will never let you forget, how do you escape the life of love that you willingly gave up?
And to what extremes would you go to escape yourself?

Fantastic chapter. Seriously, I was glued to my computer screen, never blinking.
The drama between Edward and his parents was very powerful and intriguing. I thought it heart-breakingly harsh when Edward said 'Fuck you both' to his parents. That moment was very indicative of the depth of Edward's immaturity & cruelty.
But it was the very cute way that he first met Bella that left me all smiles at the end. I can't wait to see where this goes from here.
