Title: Chapter 1: Form 1040 - One Shot
That was an insightful piece! I really enjoyed it, and loved every second of reading it. You're absolutely right on how much of a headache it must be for Carlisle! I have mused on occasion on how much more difficult the digital age must be for vampires. But never did I consider taxes! *shudder* With their wild spending habits and credit card usage, it is imperative that they keep Uncle Sam happy!
Thanks for writing this! Author's Response: Thank you for your review! I suspect that Carlisle secretly loves things like filing taxes (even though he probably feels terribly guilty about the forgeries and stuff).
Summary: "Oh God, that explains so much," he said with a groan, crushing me against him again. I was shivering with reaction. I had never relived that memory in full, and had hoped I would never have to. But I did. For Edward.

Title: Chapter 4: Lesson Three: Groping - Bella
Just found this story. Hmm, apparently Edward is an idiot, and Bella's not that much better. But Edward's really an idiot. *grin* Or rather, so far in denial he might as well be on another planet. I'm guessing he's not a virgin? Nothing was actually, definitively said (at least that I remember), although I pretty much assumed considering how confident he was and how he reacted to Bella's virgin status. I was curious because I wondered why Bella didn't ask him more about his experience.
Anyway, I'm curious on how many more lessons there are, all things considered, and whether he's going to go through the torment of trying to find Bella a suitable deflowerer. *eyeroll* Seriously, what's wrong with being a virgin though? Do people really have a problem with it nowadays? *plaintive look* Author's Response: <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:595.3pt 841.9pt; margin:1.0cm 1.0cm 42.55pt 1.0cm; mso-header-margin:35.45pt; mso-footer-margin:35.45pt; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} -->

Thank you for your thorough review, I enjoyed it a lot! Well, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with virginity, and I hope the story doesn’t read that way. Like I told someone in an earlier response, I was quite old when I lost mine and I have a friend in her thirties who still hasn’t “lost” hers. This is “just” a fan fiction premise, but I definitely am not implying one has to get rid of it. Still, I don’t want to enforce the stupid notion that a girl/woman is supposed to wait the perfect man with her knees crossed (like anything else would make her a slut). Some of Bella’s feelings or thoughts in this fic come from my own at the time – as in feeling left out because I wasn’t in the same “club” supposedly and being annoyed at being seen as “strange” for being a virgin or assumed I was somehow religious etc. As for Edward, he’s not a virgin…he hasn’t been a real man whore or anything but definitely not a virgin. Obviously, the poor boy is in denial about the situation, but a lot can be read between the lines…and since the next lesson will be from his point of view again, more will be revealed of his feelings/thoughts. There are five or six lessons, but I’m not sure if there’ll be any Intermissions in the story. And, we’ll all just have to wait and see if Edward will finish the job personally or if something else is going to happen..:)
Summary: We all know that Edward Cullen has the ability to read everyone's thoughts, except for Bella's.
This story is about Bella having the same gift, as a human, and being able to read even Edward's thoughts.
Takes place during the timeframe of Twilight.

Title: Chapter 1: Arrival
First, I just wanted to let you know that the double spacing on the page is kind of awkward to read. Maybe it's just me though, I have no idea. I still haven't gotten used to the whole white on black thing so I may just be annoyingly picky! If it is just me, sorry!
Interesting twist. It will be interesting to see how this plays out - if Bella will be able to hear the vamps or not, and if so then that blows their secret sky high huh? There's no way it won't considering she'll "hear" things like Alice's visions, Jasper trying to not kill everybody, etc. Of course unless she is really good about blocking them for privacy's sake... anyway, can't wait to see where you decide to go with this. Author's Response: Yeah im new to the whole spacing out thing. Ive fixed it a little and ill do the same with the next. And ill guess youll have to just keep reading ot find out =] Thanks for the review!

Boy I'm as confused as Edward! Space age outfit? Flashing signs? What in the world? Why is it I'm thinking Star Trek? Is there a convention going on? Is Carlisle a closet Trekker? Does he secretly fantasize about being Captain Kirk?
Oh boy, poor Edward. Why do I get the feeling at the end of this he's going to feel embarrassed? lol

I knew it! I knew it was some sort of convention thingy. So I was off in thinking it was Star Wars, still I was close enough. I honestly have no clue whatsoever what movies they are referencing, I've heard of Ed Wood but only because of the Tim Burton film. I kind of want to see his work now. I wikied him just now and did you know there's a religion after him? They're called Woodites and they celebrate Woodmas every year. *grin*

Just found this story, and huh. James?! Did Emmett and Jasper miss a piece? *grin* And things were going so well too. This looks like it will be a good suspense/action story, can't wait to see what happens! Author's Response: I hope that was a good huh ; ) Yes and no. You'll see. Title: Chapter 4: Four. Agoraphobia [Edward]
So, James reincarnated and is human? Or am I assuming too much? I dunno. But this is going to be interesting. Bella's a vampire but can she hold off a nosy human? Hmm. It is something to remember that to the Cullens, their memories of Bella as a human are going to be crystal clear and a hard habit to break.
Interesting chapter! I can't wait for the unveiling of James #2. Author's Response: I cannot tell you for sure whether you are 100% right or wrong, but I can tell you that you're on the right track. Bella prides herself on the fact that she can protect herself now. Her desire to prove that...well it might get in the way of things. I'm glad that you caught on to that. The number one complaint from last chapter was that the Cullens were protecting Bella. To them, even though they know logically that she can protect herself, internally they all want to protect her.
Thanks!! Please keep reading!
Summary:
It's drawing close to a full decade since Edward Cullen made the greatest sacrifice of his life: the potentially eternal, reciprocal love he shared with Bella.
Something greater than nature seems to continuously draw them back towards each other and Edward's starting to realise that even forever isn't long enough to fight and flee the inevitible.
The coincidental circumstances - or perhaps predestined - of his reuniting with Bella startle Edward with one shocking observation:
Bella hasn't aged in 10 years.
They both know it's more than just coicidence.
Because some things are simply meant to be.
Abundance of gratitude for Anne Cullen for creating this beautiful banner!

Title: Chapter 1: Sacrifice - Edward
OK, I'm going to try to trust you on the child thing for now, but I am seriously wincing. Very much so. Unless she's somehow become a surrogate or something...
But I'm very curious on where you go with this... I really was impressed with the way you talked about Rosalie. That was one of the best takes on her I've ever seen. Author's Response: Haha, don't worry. Reuben was pretty much an accident on Bella's and Jake's part. Everything works out in the end ;)
I have a lot of sympathy for Rosalie. I think she feels like she's trapped, because all she wants is to grow old and have children. She can't. She probably would rather die than continue existing without being able to be a mother, but she loves Emmett and she just couldn't let herself get killed (somehow) and break his heart like that.
Thanks for reading :)

Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2(vjgm)
Well honestly, I kind of feel like Edward should have gone ahead with burning Rosalie! But it kind of depends - were they just fantasies or was she actually planning on doing something about it? Because it's one thing to fantasize about someone dying and gaining from it, but it's another to actually contemplate doing it. It's the whole slippery slope thing. I'm really surprised that Edward was able to keep from killing her. It also seems like it's so very typical of Rosalie to have those thoughts, it's not that big of a surprise.
I really liked the confrontation though, it was a missing moment that feels very appropriate and canon to me. Well done!

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter 4: All About Edward
I just found this story and honestly I came THIS.CLOSE to stopping in my tracks on the first chapter. I am very glad to have stuck it out this far though. I actually cried a LOT reading this. I felt all of Bella's hurt and betrayal because whether Edward meant to or not he did lie. It was overwhelming, the thought of Edward having illegitimate children. Yes, he didn't cheat on Bella, but it most definitely felt like he did and throw in children and that's a boatload of pain for Bella. And while I agree with another reviewer that Edward is in pain too, it's not the same as Bella's agony at the time - his is more of the guilt and surprise/shock of discovery. Not jealousy, betrayal, anger, etc. She's taking this a WHOLE lot better than I would have. Of course Lucy's Diary (aka the Confessions of a Shallow Blond Manipulator) helped a lot with the situation. Knowing her intentions and seeing as how they didn't technically have sex, well, that helps. But I am in awe of Bella for being strong enough to read the diary and getting to that point. I really don't think I could have done that. All during the first two chapters I kept expecting Bella to decide to call the wedding off, I think that would have been a reasonable reaction. It's a testament to her love for Edward that she didn't. That and her not being able to leave him in the forest - even though it was hurting her so badly being there.
Honestly though, what Lucy did is fairly tantamount to rape. It's very sad that Edward's first experience sexually was something that would have made him feel so guilty and disgusted.
There's definite signs of healing and all that, but I'm a little surprised at how quickly Bella is getting over it. The slightest thing still reminds Bella of Edward leaving her in New Moon and makes her insecure and anxious - something like this seems like would only exacerbate that a lot. It's only been a few days after all that she's learned her fiance had a child, etc. And she has to wonder how things will change once Edward meets his legacy. It would make me still very vulnerable and unsure of their future. I simply wouldn't be at the point yet of being able to kiss or hold him without constantly thinking about Lucy.
I am dying to see Edward's POV on things. I am very curious on what thoughts he had during his confession with Bella, especially considering his extremely unvampire-like reactions like stumbling over the log and not hearing Bella walk back to him. Not to mention destroying the boulder - I'm guessing that one was especially bad. His guilt must be agonizing but what sucks even worse is a part of him must be dying to know his son and maybe even a tad bit happy that he had a child? Which of course would only make him feel even worse. It made me happy that he was more than willing to sacrifice finding out more about his son for Bella's sake, showing his priority is still first and foremost her happiness.
I'm very curious whether you are going to go canon BD on this story or even how long this story is going to be! But regardless, you've done a fabulous job with the characterizations and painting the emotions. This is one of the most difficult fics for me to read but it's really well done. I thought it would be nearly impossible for me to forgive Edward but you did it. Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much for your comments and feedback. I really appreciate it. Bella isn't really getting over things as quickly as it might seem, she is still struggling, hence her continually trying to "lock Lucy and George away at the back of her mind". They haven't properly kissed yet, only gentle brushing of lips against cheeks, hair, and ghosting over lips although Bella is starting to feel her feelings return after her initial reaction for Edward not to touch her. She's still worried, but she's trying to look at the big picture. More of her feelings, and his, will be revealed in chapter five.

Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5: George
I think it would be only natural for Bella to have those misgivings and insecurities. She's always been self-conscious and had self-esteem issues, this whole Lucy thing is only going to make those much, much worse. It's hard, even though knowing in my head, that Edward did not cheat and in fact is really not at fault for the situation, to really let everything go. I just really feel strongly for Bella though, I can tell you that. Even the fact that George turned out to be a music teacher and (from what little we know) a good person, who lived a long and happy life, is just rather bittersweet to me. I'm very curious on what was going through Edward's head during all of this. But I'm still even more curious on what was going through his head during his confession to Bella, really. I guess I'm rather masochistic.
Thank you much for the update! I've been thinking about this story a lot. Author's Response: Thanks so much for your comments - I really appreciate them. Bella does have issues, but working through this situation will help her work through those self-esteem issues as well and she'll come out a stronger person.

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter 6: What Edward Heard
I missed this chapter! Agh! *beats head against monitor* I hate when I miss an update.
First impression is that I was surprised too at just how much fear Edward had. It makes sense, don't get me wrong. And I'm GLAD, actually, at it, now that I think about it. It shows he doesn't take Bella for granted.
I'm just relieved to finally know what was going on behind the scenes. I'm surprised at how perceptive Rebecca was too. George doesn't surprise me as much, in fact I wonder if Edward's ability to read minds (though not as strong obviously, George is human after all) passed along.
Thank you for writing this. It's just amazing to read and I actually enjoy rereading it when I am in the mood to cry. *grin* Author's Response: Thanks very much. I'm glad you're enjoying it and re-reading is such a huge compliment, thank you.

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Dancing and Decisions
Uh, what? *blinks in shock* Well, in a way I see it, it's not like George has long to live so the secret will die with him. And he seems trustworthy. But heck the shock may kill him! Although it seems like he has some inkling... I don't know. But I wonder at why Edward feels the need to tell him. Does he want to claim him as his son, give him that peace?
The Snoopy shirt was a nice surprise! Cute. When Edward of course ran out in the rain to get Bella the hot chocolate, I had this mental image of what Edward would be like if Bella were pregnant (and it was a normal pregnancy, not all Renesmee-like). He'd think nothing of driving all over the continental US to get her whatever she wanted. Heck he'd probably steal the Concord to fly and get her authentic Italian!
Thank you for the update! I am sad and yet a little relieved to hear that this story has only a few chapters left. Sad to see it end, but relieved in a way because this story is so intense, it doesn't benefit from being drawn out too long. I think I remember reading that this was your first fanfic, which is absolutely amazing to me. Superlative doesn't even cover it. Author's Response: Wow! Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed Snoopy and the hot chocolate. I'm working on the next chapter now and hopefully it'll be up soon. There's still a bit of drama ahead, but also some happiness and boundary-pushing!!

Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Break and Enter
I know I should just be happy and let this go, but honestly I guess this just proves I'm not as good a person as Bella. It still just boggles me how accepting she is of the situation. I mean rationally and logically I now completely understand and forgive (not that there's really a need for forgiveness) Edward. Things were not in his control, after all. But emotionally, that's what I have a hard time with. I just don't think I could have emotionally supported Edward as much as Bella has done in this situation simply because I don't know if I could have let go of the pain so easily. It kind of humbles me a little.
I loved the talk between father and son. That was lovely and went so well. Of course I'm curious as to what caused that moment of pain with Edward, I'm guessing it has something to do with Bella and her change?
The epiphany that Edward has really makes so much sense and meshes so well with the canon Edward. Seriously, you did a really excellent job with that.
Thank you for the update!!!

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Hating Mike Newton
I'm so glad that none of her internal organs were damaged. That was my main concern. Well, that and hitting an artery. Which Mike was close to doing. I have to admit that when you're in the middle of an emergency like that, it is REALLY hard to remember those things you've learned. I took an infant CPR class when I was pregnant, and there came a situation where I thought I would need to use it with my baby. Yeah, it's real hard to remember the steps when your mind is just frozen in panic while you watch your child choke.
It surprised me that they moved the wedding, but I guess it makes sense. What is two more weeks, really?
Anyway, thanks for the new chapter! Author's Response: Thanks for your review. Edward, being Edward, just needed to be absolutely, positively sure that Bella would be completely healed and over her injury before he even thinks about making good on their deal - he's overthinking and overreacting as usual. That's why the wedding gets put back, but it's also part of the story's development - you'll just have to wait and see. Next chapter is in the works.

Title: Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Love
Whoa! This train went to a happy place! Totally wasn't expecting that little revelation at the end. I am just always so very impressed with the thought you put into this fic. You take it into directions that just aren't obvious. It never occurred to me to consider the marriage in question as an arrangement, but I can definitely see how obvious it is now that you've pointed it out. The only other sticking point I have is that Edward has always been one for sex after marriage, and technically they aren't married even if today should have been the day.
I loved Edward's acceptance of Bella's change. It's wonderful to see that.
I also really loved the fact that Carlisle and Esme both acknowledge how important Bella's role was in Edward accepting what happened in his human life. It's an interesting thing, actually, to consider how Edward WOULD have reacted had Bella not been in Edward's life and how he would have dealt with the revelations on his own. I think he would have spiralled even further into self loathing, hating himself for his loss of control, for not being the human he had thought he was.
Thank you for the update!

Title: Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Together
I knew you were going to go the route of canon somewhat, and while I've definitely trusted you to do right with our couple with the stuff that happened before, I'm having niggling doubts again. Sorry. I mean, you overcame almost insurmountable odds with She Who Should Have Never Been A Mother, but now with Bella being pregnant, how can she be turned now? Not to mention the whole pregnancy thing. But I am going to set all that aside and just trust you. You fixed things before, you can fix them again!
Thank you for the lovely update! Author's Response: Thanks for your review - I'm glad you've been enjoying the story. I'm working on the ending now and seeing how it will all fall into place. My goal, is still, a canon ending. Hopefully it'll all work out okay. Thanks again.

Title: Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Hot Chocolate
Awww, such fluff! What were the Cullens doing while Edward was reading the letter though? It surprised me that Alice went upstairs, too, unless she already knew the contents of the letter?
Heck if I could have leased an ultrasound machine while I was pregnant, I would have in a heartbeat. People made fun of Tom Cruise for doing it but I didn't understand why. I would have loved to have seen my baby every day while in utero.
Bella's the smart one of the bunch. I don't care if vampires are supposed to be smarter, they sure don't act it sometimes. I think their arrogance gets in the way to be honest.

That was lovely! All the excitement of having a baby just really well done. Not ad nauseum, but showing the growth of their relationship and themselves. I really liked the scene in Bella's bedroom with the book of etiquette. I like that you surprise me time and again with little details such as that. You've impressed me over and over with the obvious amount of thought and attention to detail in this fic. Dare I say it, but it just feels to me that you truly love writing this fic. That may sound strange but it is the impression I am left with after reading and thinking about what to say in my review.
Edward is just itching to reach for the bubblewrap. You just know he is after Bella nearly fell twice in like a 5 minute timeframe.
I have to giggle at Charlie. What baby, indeed! Author's Response: Yes, I do enjoy writing this, very much. Though some chapters are easier than others. I'm really glad you're enjoying it. Poor Charlie, I'm wondering what he's going to make of it all!
