AU Post-New Moon.
Bella never jumped, Alice never had her vision and Edward never came back. Six years later, Bella is struggling to make a new life for herself as a teacher in Rochester, New York. Here is my summary suggestion:
The thing about love is that it doesn’t know the rules. Nobody knows this better than Bella Swan, an English Literature teacher living in Rochester, New York. It’s been 6 years since the love of her life left her alone in the forest on a rainy Washington afternoon. She knows that since that day he hasn’t aged at all, and neither has her heart. But a vampire can’t be in love with a human, a 17 year-old can’t be in love with a 24 year-old, besides, it’s not like she‘ll ever see him again... One day a flawless and familiar face unexpectedly enrolls in her class and another rule is broken, because a teacher can’t, under any circumstances, be in love with one of her students.
Will the always unfortunate conditions from their past continue to drive Edward and Bella apart, or will Edward be able to convince her of the true, unchanging feeling he still has for her? Will Bella stop fighting the past? Can she come to realize that the real thing about love, is it always finds a way...

Title: Chapter 13: Lucky
Another great chapter! I feel like you must know Edward personally, because you capture him so well.
I really liked the bit with Esme. I didn't feel like she got much page time in the series. We really didn't get a chance to know her very well, or to see the depth of her kindness. We basically just got told that she was kind and loving and there weren't a whole lot of opportunities to see it demonstrated. I'm glad you remedied that.
Your chapters are worth waiting for, I for one, don't mind the gaps between. On the one hand, suspense is killing me, on the other, I know that when it does come, the update will be brilliant.
I love that you now have to create a seperate email account to help you control people's enthusiasm for your story. I'm a little jealous of that, but I don't envy the time you must have to spend soothing everyone's fears and assuring them that you have not, in fact, fallen off the face of the earth.
I've heard about your blog before, I'll have to go check it out!

I don't feel that I really know Edward at all, compared to some of the authors on here (blondie in 'The Dark Side of the Moon' springs to mind) but thank you for saying that :)
I'm glad you liked the bit with Esme. Whilst writing this it has kind of been my aim to devote a sceneish to really get to know each of the Cullens. Edward & Emmett's fight in the courtyard, Alice & Bella's chat in the corridor, Edward & Jasper in the car outside Bella's appartment, Carlisle & Edward in Bella's hospital room and now Edward & Esme. I've still got to 'do' Rosalie; hopefully I can fit that into the next chapter. I think one of the biggest things that was missing for me from the series was proper character development for all the minor characters- they kind of got swept aside by the Bella/Edward/Jacob dynamic.
Thank you for saying that about the updates- it's a relief to know that not everyone is baying for my blood!
Ha yeah about the email account... at first I didn't want to make it because I'm aware that it has slightly arrogant connotations... that's not how it's supposed to be interpreted at all, I was just having difficulty responding to everyone at once. It got to the point where I didn't want to check my inbox anymore because I was scared of how many: 'I HATE YOU' emails I'd have received. I hope you don't think any worse of me for it.

I've already reviewed elsewhere, so you already know how I feel about the awesomeness that is this chapter - but I need to say it again - for the benefit of the masses, and also because you need 1393 reviews instead of the mere 1392 reviews that you already have.
You do Jake's POV brilliantly. I told you this already, but you need to write a whole fic this way. About anything, I don't care. I just need more. I would print it out and display it in my curio cabinet right between my wedding photo and the ceramic mold of my son's baby feet. I love it that much.
Take as long as you need. We'll wait. Patiently.

Title: Chapter 20: Dear Edward...
Oh Claire that was beautiful! That letter was perfect. When you look at a story like this, a story where Bella finds out who she really is and developes healthy feelings for Edward, it really throws into light how ridiculous she is in the real series. I'm so proud of you for this. It's excellent.

I like it. Finally, a character that feels real. I'm glad you totally ignored Breaking Dawn, that's what I've been trying to do since the moment I finished the last page of it. Keep it up, well done. Also, I haven't put in my review for SMS, seems pointless since you already have about a million, but I want you to know that it rocks. Author's Response: Aww thank you on both counts! Imogen jumped into my mind and all but possessed it for an entire day, so I had to get this story down. I wrote it before Breaking Dawn came out, but considering what a travesty that book turned out to be I felt no remorse in completely disregarding it by posting this. :) Thanks. I am absolutely stunned by the level of appreciation I've received for 'Seducing Ms Swan'- it started as a stupid idea I came up with in a Physics lesson and I never ever expected it to become as popular as it has done. 'ello love, This is another amazing chapter. I know a lot of people are complaining about the suspense, but I think you've got it just right. There are things that needed to happen before they were reunited. I'm loving the pace of the story and the way you portray Edward. It's natural. I have to wait until Saturday to see the movie because I couldn't get a sitter, but I'm anxious to hear what you thought of it. You paint such vivid pictures with your words which is part of what makes this story so captivating. You also stick very close to Edward and Bella's characters (and everyone elses; Jacob, Alice, etc.) which I always appreciate. I love where this is going, I love the pace and the plot and...
