Bella was ashamed of the pressure her teenage self absorption had placed on Edward, and, indeed, on all of the Cullens.
I love when Bella finds humility. Edward so often gets thrown over the coals again and again (granted, some of it is deserved). But it's rare to have Bella take a chunk out of the humble pie. That was a great point. :)
Summary: Almost one year has passed since Edward left and Bella's life has been plagued by one tragedy after another. Bella is feeling desperate and there is only one person who can save her from the abyss that is threatening to swallow her whole.

Okay, okay - I have finally read your entire story. Sorry - I hate suspense so I usually put off reading pieces until they are very much into the story.
I LOVE this! Horrible, generic thing to say - I know. But you know what's great about this?? You have such a perfect handle on the angst and the suspense - you play it with the right balance so the reader isn't dying every few seconds from over-stated emotions, but you keep the edge of suspense (Jacob, James) just right so the reader is anxious for more. It's perfect!
And your lemons....gezz! So good. I love how protective Edward is and all the sentimental stuff that melts my heart. Love it!
Yay! Such a wonderful read - so entertaining. I'll be anxious looking for your story on the updates. :)

It's SO SO SO refreshing for once in a rare story like this to have Bella begging forgiveness from Edward. Seriously - so many fiction writers just throw him under the bus again and again and put Bella up on some pedestal. Why can't she work just as hard to get him? Sorry about my venting... :)
Anyway, so nice to have you back!! And I was very happy to see some closure here and talking. My favorite was when he climbed up on her hospital bed - nothing gets a couple back together faster than cuddling :) Awesome! Hope you're back again soon..

Scary, scary ending... Definitely would not go over well for Bella to be attacked while Edward is recovering from a hangover :)
Creepy stalker stuff?? I would say anything that has to do with a face in a dark window looking in. That would freak me out. Or anything with a mirror - or a dark shadow on a stairwell. Good grief - I'm scaring myself now...

Lovely lemon chapter! Have to love that...
A few things - still confused after everything they've been through that she wont tell Edward - esp after being with him in CA. Also - the fact that James can somehow see them - is watching the house - that would be enough for me to tell the police, Edward, etc. That would freak me out - and I esp would be worrying about how much access he has - can he hear them? How much can he see? And then I would worry for Edward's safety.
Anyway - while the lemon was needed and nice - dont think I would have the sanity of mind to withstand that and the James terror if I were Bella...

Wow! The ending was so powerful! I just loved it! Love the chemistry - I just love this whole idea. But I'm surprised they never mention anything about working together - about ideas and discussions they must have had during that filming time. Maybe not the right moment. Just a thought.
But this whole scene was fabulous! You did a great job! Author's Response: Powerful ending? Wow! I hoped it would come off good, but that....WOW! I am doing a happy dance over here. I am so relieved you like the ending! I wanted to let you know that your review is the reason they bring up the past in Chapter 6 and again in the un-posted Chapter 7.
