What to say... I'm Irish. I study French and English literature at university in Dublin. Grudging, then obsessed fan of the Twilight series. I like angst, and a lot of it, but am an eternal devotee of the HEA, as is hopefully evident with my stories. I also like sunflowers (the clue's in the name) and poetry, especially e.e. cummings, John Donne, Pablo Neruda, Sara Teasdale... I could go on.
addicttwilight2 kicked me out of the writing 'closet', and all of you keep me coming back for more... what can I say. I'm a sucker for pretty boys with Superman complexes. ;)
"Metaphysics", by anaismark - anyone who has missed out on this gem of a story should immediately remedy it. And no, my priviledged position as her beta does NOT make me biased! http://twilighted.net/viewstory.php?sid=10415

Title: Chapter 1: Death Wish
I know you said you realised you were evil for leaving it there... but I don't think you realise HOW evil. GRRRRR!!! *shakes fist*
Absolutely brilliant chapter, as always. I've been lurking for a while and have missed reviewing, so may I also mention that possibly the best moment in the whole story for me was last chapter, when Edward thinks the same line Bella thought in the book - "Lucky Alice. She could trust her future." (paraphrase but I think that's it). Just goes to show how in tune they are.
As always I'm in awe of your skills, particularly when it comes to breaking my heart... It's cracking down the middle right now, and the only thing that can fix it is MORE!!! Soon... please??? *Alice eyes* Author's Response: Aw, thank you for such a lovely review. I'm sorry about the evil ending. I'll try not to leave you dangling on that cliffhanger for too long!
I'm SO glad you noticed the "Lucky Alice" line. Only a few people have picked up on it so far! I just thought it would be sweet to show them thinking the same thing. Both are such idiots over each other's feelings. :)
Again, thank you. And don't worry, you'll get your Bella and Edward smoochies soon! :P
Summary:
Edward reveals a secret from his human time which leaves Bella shocked and wondering just how well she knows the man she is about to marry.
This is very much an Edward and Bella love story.

Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: I Really Didn't See That Coming
Have to say, utterly loving this. At the very beginning I was slightly dubious because I simply didn't believe wholeheartedly that the whole classic soap-opera-y, I-fathered-a-child-with-someone-else thing would translate very well into twilight, but wow, did you pull it off. I adored it, every part, and my very favourite bit was probably either the back-and-forth between Edward and George about Edward's hair, or the bit where he goes to get her the better hot chocolate. So cute.
And then EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That cliffhanger was just... just... GAH!!!! More soon please, I'm dying over here!!!! Author's Response: Thanks very much! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Sorry about the cliffhanger. The next chapter is in the queue so it could be up any day now.

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 23: Edward's Epilogue Part 1
I'm so, SO incredibly happy to see this up! SO HAPPY! It was perfect, so perfect. Your characterisation of Edward absolutely astounds me. I love this incarnation. It's so different from the Edward in the books, and somehow you manage to simultaneously be true to that Edward and still make him a better and more interesting character overall. I love it. I love it I love it I love it! Can't wait for part 2!!!

Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1: I Really Didn't See That Coming
This is one of the most amazing stories I have ever read, period -- fanfiction or no. Without a doubt my favourite fanfic out of all the ones I've read (and that has been a LOT). Just incredible, amazing, all manner of good things.
Please keep writing. I am extremely impatient to see the epilogue from EPOV as well as many many new stories from you :) Author's Response: Thank you very much, your words mean a lot to me, thank you. I'm so glad you've enjoyed the story. I'm working on Edward's epilogue now, but I find him a little more difficult to write than Bella - he has a tendency to go on and on it seems. I'm hoping it will be up in the next week or so. Thank you once again for your review :)

Banner Manipulation by Averii: http://averii.deviantart.com/art/New-Moon-wallpaper-2-117137252
I never noticed before how he had progressively carried more and more weight. My humanity and his immortality; the call of my blood and his unending thirst; my insecurities and stubbornness; his desperation to keep me safe; my precipitous abandon towards all things dangerous; his sacrifice of his own feelings to protect me; the guilt of his abandonment; the consequences of my relationship with Jacob…every little thing further weighed him down. Today was just the day that he finally succumbed to the burden.
Bella finally sees Edward not as the God she has placed upon a pedestal, but as the man that he truly is. A man that can be broken by the betrayal of his one true love. It is told through the guilty eyes of the woman who tears his heart apart without a second thought, only to realize he too is breakable. She is forced to see all of her actions and insecurities and see what they have done to her love and what she has to do to bring him back to her.

Title: Chapter 6: Trust
I've been following this story for the past while but have been shamefully silent up to now. With this chapter I couldn't hold my tongue back anymore.
The emotions in this story are absolutely brilliant. This is how Eclipse should have gone. It never sat right with me, that Edward could want Bella as much as he appeared to and yet show no emotion at her betrayal. That whole calm acceptance thing felt like a load of baloney. This is so much more realistic, so much - *more*. Being decidedly anti-Jacob I love the symbolism behind crushing that dratted bracelet.... Honestly, I'm just about addicted here. More soon please!!! :) Author's Response: No worries about being silent. As long as you liked it, that's all that matters to me! Nonetheless, thanks for reviewing!
And I agree about Edward's calm acceptance. It was entirely out of character and I can't help but think SM didn't want to deal with the can of worms she would open if she let Edward react naturally. It would've been a hassle to write, prolonged the book, and made her face all the holes she'd left in E/B's relationship. Instead she chose to focus on the Jake side of things and gloss over everything. Plus she needed to keep Jake in the story for the incoming Renesme....

Title: Chapter 1: Titan
This story is utterly incredible. You've exceeded my every expectation. It's so, so, so much better than the original scenes in Eclipse. So good in fact that it's reduced me to a state of blathering idiocy, and I can only tell you... WOW.
I have a few major things wrong with Twilight canon, as much as I love it. Just one of them was every single scene after the B/J kiss in Eclipse. I'd thought about tackling it myself to wrest it into something believable, but you've taken the thought out of my head and made it SO. MUCH. BETTER. I'm in awe. Seriously. I may just print this out and staple it to the original book, and pretend the rest didn't happen!
A few things to note especially. I think Edward's calling off the wedding to make Bella happy is perfect. I never agreed with the way in which they got engaged - Edward's first reaction, to me, is always to give Bella what she wants, and therefore I doubt he would ever have used their wedding as a bargaining chip.
Second, I ADORE what you've done with the Bella/Jacob resolution. Having read the first few chapters, your references to Jake - while completely excellent and humourous and just *true* - made me think you might be tempted to be completely caustic and just untrue to his character. I should've known better. I loathe Jacob's existence as a plot device, but as a character I think he's a good guy, and deserves a happy ending. And this - well this was the best ending he could have gotten, I think. Bella's letting him go, and his letting go of her, was the purest and most unselfish way for them to end their friendship. I'm REALLY glad you didn't go against his good nature and make him all angry wounded wolf boy. What you did was... utterly perfect.
To sum up - incredible. UTTERLY incredible. One of my favourite stories of all time. Please update soon - I can't wait to see where you bring us next. :)
Summary:
“This is your wedding, Bella, and it shouldn’t be something you have to merely tolerate. I want you to want this for you, not because you feel that you owe it to me, Alice or anyone else for that matter!”
Edward grows concerned about Bella in the weeks leading up to their wedding day, as he sees how uncomfortable she is with the idea of a big wedding. He wants Bella as his wife, but not at the risk of her sanity! He begins to wonder if there is another option?
Bella is struggling with more than just the thoughts of a fancy wedding; the mere idea of marriage is causing her to stress...
"Nothing about my relationship with Edward was conventional, and I found it hard to reconcile our extraordinary bond with something as staid and traditional as marriage. I had to tell him though... I cleared my throat, and then stared at the ceiling, unable to meet Edward’s gaze as I spoke the words that would undoubtedly break his heart. “Maybe I do have some misgivings,” I mumbled, so low and so quickly that it would have been unintelligible to anyone not equipped with supernatural hearing skills."
Thank you to Anne Cullen for the beautiful banner!

I am so very glad to see this up. Like a proud mama. Seriously.
Looking forward to the ride -- and so enjoying knowing more than the rest of your readers... mwahaha! ;)
And awh, thank you for the kudos. As ever, you make me blush and grin like a fool. I think at this stage we're each other's biggest fans... xox Author's Response: Already you feel like family, dear. With a side of ruler-wielding disciplinarian tossed in for good measure.
I feel like you may know more than I do about this story sometimes but I am glad you let me pretend to be the one in charge. Hehe. You are something else.
And I am so grateful for it! Kisses back to you!

Title: Chapter 1: Prologue
I read this chapter more times than I can count back when it first arrived in its inbox, and yet when I saw it was updated I STILL got a squealy feeling in the pit of my stomach, and reread all over again.
Sigh. Just the perfect read. You are a superstar my dear, and I am more than honoured to follow you with a ruler mumbling on about commas where semi-colons should be and all the rest of it ;P xoxo Author's Response: Oh, Danni! The idea of running bodily into Edward Cullen or his breath on my ear -- even if it were to taunt me -- does things to this poor girl.
I squealed audibly while writing more than once.
You are adorable. I will add more unnecessary commas, if, you'll, promise, to, wield, your, ruler. Just saying.
love,
AM

It was SOOOO painful, SOOOOOOO bittersweet and beautifully written and just... just... just AAAAH, and then.... then...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Title: Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Very Good Wrist Action
(I'm going to engage in a little rambly story here; bear with me, I do havea point...)
Right now, I'm working as an au pair for the summer before I go back to uni in September. I saw you'd updated yesterday and pulled up the chapter amid squeals of delight, but before I could read I had to go and collect my charge from school and then bring him to the library.
When I got back the door to my room had somehow locked itself from the inside. No idea how, or why. And I was standing there, with literally everything I possessed in the world except the clothes I had on my back behind a locked door for god knew how long, and you know what the premier thought in my mind was? "AAAAAAAARGH I'm going to have to wait ANOTHER DAY to read that update!!!"
I don't know whether this speaks more about the worrying state of my mental health or about the quality of your writing... would very much like to believe it's the latter though. All night last night and all morning it was like an itch that I couldn't scratch, and it was the FIRST thing I did when I eventually regained access to my room (thanks to a very nice little French man and a very long ladder). As I suspected, it was worth the wait... and THEN some.
Thank you, thank you and thank you some more. What a beautiful piece. Genuinely just beautiful. I can't believe we only have 2/3 chapters left... praying very hard that you have something else planned right after. You are my absolute favourite. :) Author's Response: Wow, love your rambly story, thanks for sharing! I just love the image of the nice little French man with the long ladder, brought a big smile to my face. I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter, I was kind of nervous about this one. I'm tossing around an idea for an All Human story, but not sure yet whether it will happen.
Thanks again for your kind words, they are much appreciated :)

This looks incredibly promising :) I really like your Bella - she's spunkier than most versions - and the snarky humour you have flowing through it (loved the "rinse, repeat" thing). Also love the idea of Edward as a mechanic. Looking forward to more! :)
