This is one of the first stories that I ever read in fan fiction, and it is still one of my favorites - BY FAR my favorite vampire story. You are a wonderful writer - you have taken Twilight so much farther than the original - yours is what I think of when I think of our Edward and Bella. I don't even read the books anymore!

Just read up to Ch 11 -- heard about your story on the Twigasm podcast last night. I must say your story is worthy of the recommendation! Love it. Heartbreaking to hear about the unspeakable abuse that poor Edward has suffered. So glad he has Emmett as a mentor, and Jasper as a good friend. Glad that Charlie seems to be somewhat rational about finding out .. hopefully he'll stay that way.

Love this!!! This is an interesting twist on the Bella/Edward initial meeting in Twilight - Bella being the one who hates him. I'm along for the ride on this one -- I'm very intrigued and looking forward to seeing where this goes.

You're dealing with difficult subject matter, yet not making it totally depressing and angsty. I'm really enjoying that you're letting Bella enjoy her life and move forward. I like it!!!!! I read your reviews, and I just did want to respond to the issue of the "fuck" count in the chapter. In my opinion, since it's Edward's POV, he's just clearly a dude that says and thinks "fuck" a lot ... and if that's in character for him, I really think it's fine! I know plenty of people who say it just as often. I'm assuming that if you get into other POVs, that if they aren't perpetual "FUCK" talkers, we won't get it as much in those chapters :)
I'm definitley going to keep reading! I'm looking forward to next chapter which I'm gonna take a look at now, and keep up the good work!

Title: Chapter 2: Meet The Cullens
Awww.. and they meet!! (sort of). I really like your details that show subtle ways that Esme and Carlisle are showing their love for each other, and how Edward picks up on it. I sense that underneath the hard exterior maybe he's a little lonely himself, and waiting for that right person.
