Title: Chapter 16: Epilogue: What Else Alice Saw
So I read this in 2 days and loved it. :-) I know it's been published for awhile now, but just thought I'd drop by and say good job.
Summary:  A story about love, about death, about keeping secrets, and dealing with the consequences. Bella and Edward meet at a hospital when she is diagnosed with a life threatening disease and he is recovering from knee surgery. She confides her fears to him; he changes his life because of her. This is a story about their journey through the confusion, awkwardness, pain, and beauty of first love.
Excerpt from Chapter 2:
“What are you most afraid of?” Edward asks one last question.
“I'm not afraid of dying,” I answer truthfully.
“You're not afraid of dying?” he repeats, incredulous.
“No. There's so much more. I'm afraid of losing my hair but that's not my biggest fear. I'm afraid of leaving my mom and dad all alone. I'm afraid that if I survive, I'll never have children of my own.” I yawn again. Edward is quiet and I think for a moment that he's fallen asleep. “Edward,” I whisper, in case he is asleep, “What are you most afraid of?”
“I'm afraid I'm falling for you,” he whispers back so softly that I'm unsure if I've heard him correctly.

Title: Chapter 1: Catharsis
I really really loved this. I loved seeing Edward as the gushing father at the end there... it's not something I've really seen before.
You really got down Carlisle's struggle here.
Very nice. :-) Author's Response: Thank you so much!! And I have been so enraptured with the thought of Edward as a new father that I will explore that also thru Edward's POV in my other fanfic Honeymoon Suite. Check that one out if you get a chance! Carlisle is so moral, I couldn't help but think of the difficulties he must have gone through -- the doctor, the vampire, the father, the moral compass of the family. He really did feel all his years with this one I think.
Summary: Edward Cullen was a loner, an outcast. He clearly hated everybody, including himself. He was not a nice person. So, why was I so drawn to him? And why did I get the crazy feeling he felt the same way?
WARNING: This story will deal with the aftermath of child abuse and rape. If that bothers you too much, I strongly recommend that you don’t read.

One of the reasons I love this story is because Edward isn't jumping into a physical relationship w/ Bella.
Oh man, he's in some serious denial right now. There are only several hundred things that could break his bubble, but I wonder if Bella ever tells him about Jacob, if that will be his breaking moment back to reality.
Summary: After the Cullens leave Forks, a twist of fate lands Bella in Chicago in 1918. She thinks it's her second chance... a chance to build a life with a human Edward. But when she finds him, he's not quite what she expected... and Bella has some hurdles to overcome to create the future she's hoping for.

Title: Chapter 32: Chapter 31: Of Saying Goodbye and Saving a Life
1. I really love this story. I think it's well written and well thought out. I really do like it.
2. If Elizabeth and Edward get better, it's not because of the blood. Vaccines don't work that way. They are preventative, not a cure. I feel like Carlisle should have known that. Maybe he was just willing to try anything, even though he knew it wouldn't work. Also, Bella is probably not immune to Spanish Flu. Much like Swine Flu, Spanish Flu requires a different vaccine than "regular" flu.
3. I still love this story.
Summary: When faced with a betrayal that could tear them apart, Edward and Bella must put their faith in the healing power of love. WARNING: this story deals with rape and its aftermath.

It's just past 3AM when I'm writing this, so I'm sorry if this is something I should remember... how old are Bella and Edward? I kinda thought they were in their early 20's, but then during Bella's flashback, Edward said something about hitting a teenager.
The open door policy makes me laugh a bit. They were held captive for 47 days. The idea that either one of them is even close to being ready for any sort of sexual relationship is crazy. Not to mention, of course, they aren't in a romantic relationship. But I guess fathers will be fathers.
Summary: Bella's marriage is crumbling. He's never home, he barely speaks to her... they haven't had sex in over a month. It isn't until Bella's life is put in danger when she accidentally becomes involved in a crime that Edward reveals the truth... He's been working for the FBI. Now he must lug a furious and untrusting Bella across the country in a hilarious and utterly unromantic road-trip. Can Edward keep them both safe when she's been losing faith in him for years?

I love being a twin. I got to grow up w/ someone my own age. I didn't have to worry about starting school knowing no one, until college that is. So just some randomness from an "inside sourse" so to speak...
Hospitals usually don't put twins next to each other in the nursery... if someone is in the hospital to kidnap a baby and they knew there were twins, they might target them b/c the mother will still have one child. (Or so said the nurses to my mother when we were born) But I'm sure some hospitals do put them next to each other, especially with increased security in later years.
Twins are individual people. I know that sounds really obvious, but it gets annoying to always be considered 1/2 of a whole. It's as if who I am as a person is relient upon my status as a twin. People see us as one solid unit, not 2 siblings who happen to share the same birthday. Off of that point, I HATE matching outfits. My mom, being a twin herself, never bought them for us. My relatives didn't see eye to eye with her on that, so unfortunately, their are pictures of my sister and I dressed alike.
The short version of all that I've typed? Please please please treat Bella and Edward's children as the separate people they are. Terms such as "the twins," well not entirely avoidable, just reenforce the idea of one identity for 2 people.
Also, I love this story and look forward to more. :-) Author's Response: Oh trust me, the twins are two seperate people - you'll see that in coming chapters. And once the names are revealed, i'll start referring to them that way. And I am not a twin, but it irks me when I see twins dressed alike. It's cute, sometimes, but I don't think i'd do that if i had twins.
As for Bella, you'll find out next chapter. you'll need tissues....just saying.
