Sweet. There's nothing more endearing than a man in love with his wife. Author's Response: that is true. My hubby was elated when he found out about our both our boys. Children are a blessing! Hugs!
Summary: It's been 6 years and Edward hasn't returned. Bella is now living in Seattle as a homicide detective. The homicide rate has shot up in Seattle and when Bella's life is put on the line, she sees the person she was hoping she'd never see again. OOC.
Excerpt from Chapter 7:
“I have to get out of here,” I said.
I walked right past Edward but stopped when I felt something cold and hard grab my wrist.
“Don’t touch me.” I said it in a way I was surprised how it came out. It came out in more of a plea.
“Bella, please…let me explain…” Edward pleaded loosening his grip on my wrist.
“No,” was all I said. I started to pull and realized my vision started to blur and I could feel a few tears fall. “Edward, please let me go!”
“Edward. Let her go,” I heard Carlisle calmly say. Edward slowly, and somewhat reluctantly, let me go and I quickly turned around and opened the door.
I ran out and down the steps of the porch.

Title: Chapter 13: Keep Holding On
After reading your introductory notes, I expected this chapter not to be very good. I was happily surprised. I enjoyed it, despite the sad subject. I always feel terrible for Charlie in Bella-turns-but-cannot-see-Charlie stories. I'm a mom, and I know losing my child would be the worst thing possible. I always want there to be a way that Charlie doesn't have to lose contact with Bella completely.

Title: Chapter 14: Epilogue: Two is Better Than One
Great ending. I like the way you tied up all the loose ends.
Summary:
Drawing lines is, for a time, on hiatus. Please be patient with me. I'll let you know what's going on when I know.
The whole world is turned upside down when Bella is attacked in Port Angeles and she must be changed if Edward wants to keep her in his life. It is clear from the beginning that Bella is much more than she seems and the circumstances involving her attack and new found abilities prove to be a challenge that Edward and the rest of the family may be unable to prevail against.

That was very intense and rather hard to read, but I mean that in a good way. You painted a very realistic picture.
I'm hooked and waiting for more. Author's Response: It's really important to me to be honest about this stuff. It seems to me like everyone dances around the subject. I don't want to be crass or unfeeling. I just believe that not talking about sexual assault gives predators power.
I really hope that I can address this realistically and respectfully.

I always wondered how the Cullens lived in so many places and for so long and never, ever ran into anyone they ever knew. This little story explains it. I love the whole story, and this little outtake is just as sweet. Author's Response: Thanks very much.
