Woo hoo! Go Charlie. He's one of my favorite characters, and I always feel bad that he's out of the loop--even if it's for his own good. Author's Response: I never liked the way he was portrayed in BD. I mean he's a cop for Christ's sake, it's his jonb to pay atention to detail. Plus I always felt he loved Bella very much, this was shown in New Moon, so how he could he not want to know what was going on?
