It would have been totally unrealistic if she'd sat there and said the things Edward asked didn't bother her.

I couldn't predict if you have him disbarred or not, but I know he shouldn't be. I'd have been swayed by Carlisle and Rosalie's defense of Edward's actions. I know he'll be disciplined, but I hope he isn't disbarred. I think you can have him do too many worthwhile things as a lawyer.

I just love the Southernisms you put in this story. It's true that we Southerners have a momma and a daddy no matter how old we are. It's hilarious to see my 6'6" son call his father "daddy," but that's what he is.
I love the interaction between Bella, Edward, and Elizabeth. Your writing really immerses the reader in the story. I felt like I was at a nearby table.
Oh, and a favor please--please don't let Bella's dream be a premonition!

I don't think Emmett's accident was an accident by any stretch of the imagination. I think James's dad's people are making their presence known in a very, um, unfriendly way.
The Jacob thing is pretty obvious to me; Edward has a brother he and his mother knew nothing about.
I know this isn't a radio station and you don't take requests--but PLEASE don't let Emmett die!
