Summary: She once lived the life of luxury with her husband, James, until he becomes abusive. With the help of an unlikely friend, she fakes her own death, escapes James' abuse, becomes Bella Swan, and starts fresh in a new town. She meets a handsome young man named Edward who will help her heal, but will she ever fully get over the abuse she suffered?
When James gets wind that his wife isn't dead, what lengths will he go to take back what he feels is his?
Rated for future lemons, some scenes of violence, and cursing.

Title: Chapter 22: Best Laid Plans
This chapter, like every other, was well worth the wait.
With this or any other story, if I've forgotten some plot points between chapters, I just go back and read the end of the previous chapter. Problem solved. Author's Response: Thank you so much for saying that...I do that, too...when I'm enjoying a story, I'll just check the last chapter and refresh my memory...

Title: Chapter 16: Goodbyes
Carlisle and Esme leaving made me cry! What it would be like to have inlaws (I know they're not Bella's inlaws yet, but you know what I mean) like that. Author's Response: I completely agree! Inlaws like that are very hard to come by!
And sorry I made you cry! Hope they were short lived tears, though!

Love, love, love your story! I don't review every chapter, but it's not that I'm not enjoying. I just don't usually have anything important to say.
I have one teeny, tiny nitpicky thing. You say Edward has a concern about cylindrical things. I teach math, so I'm kind of a nut about stuff like this; a cylinder is like an oatmeal box or a soup can. Edward is actually afraid of spherical things.

Sensitively written. Author's Response: Thanks you so much, VictoriaCullen. I've tried really hard to be sensitive with this issue, but it's a hard one to write about...it's important not to trivialize it, and I'm so appreciative that you think I'm doing okay with it.
Summary: This is an alternative ending to New Moon AU and slightly OOC, for Bella anyway. It starts when Rosalie calls Edward to tell him what Alice saw. Rosalie tells Edward that Bella jumped and that Alice went back to Forks to check on her. Edward decides to come back to find out what is going on. Also, Victoria does not make a newborn army in Seattle...but don't worry about that just yet ;)
  
WARNING: This is not a "Jacob is the devil" type of story. Even though it will end up with ExB, if you want to stab Jake, then you probably shouldn't read this fic 'cause I love him and I will not write him as a complete ass.

I laughed out loud when I read this: I needed more Jake like Christopher Walken needed more cow bell. Author's Response: Thank you! That cowbell line was actually something I said to Kell on AIM one night....that's how a lot of the stuff in SR gets in the story. Late night AIM is mucho inspirational, lol!
Summary: What did Edward, Bella and Rosalie do while Jacob was joy riding in the Vanquish? Edward certainly gained a new perspective on things.
