Love it!  I love Gone With The Wind almost as much as Edward.  Your Edward is so sweet, and your story is so good.

I'd take the cuckoo clock--if Edward came with it. Great chapter.  In fact, every chapter is a great chapter.

Of course it's not what Stephenie would write, but it was very, very enjoyable.  :o)

We know what Bella went through having read it in previous chapters, but to see it through Alice's eyes made it even more real and heartbreaking.  Great job!

It's so sweet, but I spent most of the chapter waiting for the inevitable heartbreak.  I liked it!

Poor Bella.  You're writing such believable emotions for her.

I'm so glad you wrote Tanya as a sympathetic character. I really don't like it when she's written as a mean-spirited harpy.  As far as I can tell, in canon her only fault is being smitten with Edward.  I can relate to that. :o)

I knew Bella was going to be crushed when reality came tumbling down around her, but it still made me cry.  Her family's attempts to protect her were admirable; we never want to see the ones we love suffer.

We avoid holiday travel nightmares by avoiding holiday travel.  We have since the Christmas every single person in my husband's very large family either got the stomach flu or went to the emergency room for an accident.  My baby nephew fell down the stairs (no serious injury), another nephew fell out of a tree and broke his arm, my SIL skied into a tree and got airlifted to the hospital (no serious injury there either, thank goodness), and my FIL stuck a knife through his hand while trying to help the stomach flu sufferers by doing dishes.  Needless to say, we stay home now--where it's safer! 

Bella's breaking my heart. 

I've never been a victim of fraud or anything like that, but my mom was mugged and nearly killed a few years ago.  It was horrible, and the anger that's still there is so deep.

I knew Bella got shot, but I hadn't imagined that whole scenario.  Very exciting chapter, and it isn't all because Edward's entered the scene. :o)

I don't know anything about depression, but I would be foolish to base any real life actions on the opinions expressed in a fan fiction.  If I followed fan fiction examples, I'd be jumping somebody's bones within fifteen minutes of being introduced. ;o) That being said, I think it's fair for reasonable people to realize you are not speaking as an expert on depression.  I realize that you're sharing your thoughts and not writing a textbook.  Nobody should expect you to write a clinical evaluation--and after the semester I've had, I don't WANT to read clinical evaluations on anything.  I just want a good story, and I'm getting that. 

Sweet!  I don't think I've read many Dadsper stories; I really liked this one.  I'd love it if you turned this one-shot into a two-shot.

I was so drawn-in by this story that I snuck over to ff to see if I could find more.  I was pleased to see more chapters over there to feed my new addiction.
