It is truly fantastic and not for the faint-hearted. Not for the realist, not for the cynic, no never for the cynic, only the pure hearted will find purchase here. Lend me your ear, your open mind and heart and I will pull you to a myth you dare not dream of, a myth you unknowingly live every day.
Tell me dearest, do you believe in Angels? Not as Dogma, not as testament to whichever religion bears your faith, not fairies with wings and halos. Perhaps Angels is the wrong word, a word they would see with distaste. So we shall call them what they are in essence, the guardians. Do you believe? Can you believe in the mythical? Title: Chapter 1: One Shot
that was beautiful
Summary: Edward is a lonely vampire who has been waiting for over eighty years to find his soul mate. His sister Alice has never been able to see his true love, but for good reason--she hadn't been born yet. When Alice finally sees her, plans are made to finally make Edward's dream come true.
This is a different version of Twilight, and it's told from Edward's point of view.
A little lemony, but not too graphic. Rated NC-17 for mature themes and language, and possibly for violence in later chapters.

yeah i pretty much figured that had something to do with it. excellent chapter!
Summary: 
Being a teenage pariah is never easy, but for Edward Cullen it's especially difficult. Then again, anyone would find being a mind-reader at the age of seventeen a little more than challenging.
Once a simple high school burn-out, Edward had given up on love after a painful break up. He attempts to drown his pain in extensive drug use which eventually triggers his ability to hear the thoughts of others. Once Carlisle is made aware of Edward's hidden talent, he sends his son to a psyche ward where he is diagnosed with type 2 Bipolar disorder. During his stay, he befriends Alice Brandon and finds himself oddly drawn to her best friend Bella (who has a damaging secret of her own).

Title: Chapter 3: Psychos
so i was really debating reading this story. but i can really identify w/ alice. at 15 i was put in a psych ward. and i have never felt more out of place in my life. i was stuck there with a guy that thought he was lucille ball, a 60 pound 11 year old boy who tried to choke a kid with a chain, a crack addict, a girl who heard voices, and a huge girl, who had a violent streak. needless to say, i followed orders to a T and got out after a week of good behavior diagnosed with bipolar 2. so congrats on getting incredibly facts staight. if you want something fun to add...no shoelaces, belts, and you can absolutely not handle DVD's on movie night because the emo girl might cut herself with them. Excellent job

Edward has been filling his thirst for blood with an insatiable appetite for flesh for the last 80 years. A new girl arrives at Forks High School that baffles him, and just might turn his world upside down and break him of his rapacious behavior.
