 Yup he made it, exactly. he could have painted a doom and gloom picture but he told her everything without being an ass- he is treating her like a partner and not a child to scold. She does need someone on her side and it looks like Edward is trying very hard to be that person. I will update soon.

“I hated Bella’s friends. I thought they were enablers, but I went downstairs because I could tell she wanted us on better terms.

We entered the kitchen, and I was shocked by what I saw. In hindsight, though, I shouldn’t have been surprised. I walked in to find that all three of Bella’s band mates were in their nightwear—some more scantily clad than others. After taking in their scandalous attire, I noticed that there were also three men with them.”

“Edward POV

I changed into sleep pants, removed my shirt, and ever-so-gently eased my way into bed beside Bella. She looked so beautiful and peaceful while she slept. Almost as soon as I lay in the bed, she started unconsciously moving toward me. I didn’t want her to rip out the IV, so I moved closer and enfolded her in my arms.

Who are you kidding? You were just looking for an excuse to wrap your arms around her, I accused myself. It was true; there was no better feeling than having her in my arms. It let me know she was really here and loved me.

A little while later, I heard her heartbeat changing. Bella was waking up. I hoped if I remained quiet, she would fall back to sleep; after all, it was only five a.m., and she could sleep for another two or three hours.

“You’re back,” she said, as she snuggled farther into my embrace.

“I’m here. Go back to sleep, love,” I cooed softly in her ear.

“No, I’m up. How was the hunt?”

“Then, I guess a good morning is in order. My hunt went well. I’ll be fine now.”

“Morning. Why haven’t you kissed me yet? I can’t roll all the way over to you with this thing is my arm,” she asked, clearly disgruntled with her IV.

“Let me correct that,” I replied.

I leaned down and captured her soft lips with my own…it was perfection.

Too soon, I pulled away because I could hear Carlisle wanting to come in and see how Bella was doing. I told her about his impending visit. She welcomed this, as it meant the IV would come out.”

I’m not the goodie-goodie I was in Forks, but don’t we have to grow up sometime? Don’t they understand that I’ve done this for three and half years, and maybe I’m just tired of it all?

“What the fuck, are you looking at, Liza?”

“B, she has point. You have been falling down on bookings in the past few weeks. I want to see you happy, but you were happier before he came back. I think you need to give him the heave ho and come back to us. We are your family. We have your back, we always have. All these people have done is try to make you into something and someone you aren’t anymore. I think you just need to take a deep breath, and remember who you really are, B. That’s all. Then you’ll come back to us. And I know just what you need to be able to do that, to put everything into perspective. You need to loosen up. Now you want to loosen up. Don’t you, honey?  Of course you do. I have just the things that’ll help and it’ll make that hangover go away,” she said and reached into her back pocket and pulled out a baggie of white powder. ”

“Edward POV

I opened the door to see my siblings. According to their thoughts, Carlisle and Esme were parking the cars.

As soon as Rose entered the room, she admonished me, “Can’t you go even one damn day without sex, Edward? She’s grieving for heaven’s sake. What kind of an animal are you?”

Before I could answer, Alice jumps in and said, “You knew we were coming, you could have opened a window when you cleaned up. This place reeks of sex.”

“Hello to you too, my loving sisters,” I teased.

They both glared at me, then Rose opened a window.

My brothers were both proud of me, but wouldn’t open their mouth for fear of their wives’ reactions.

Seems we all have something in common, I thought fleetingly.

Bella came out of the bedroom, tugging at the top of her dress, just after Carlisle and Esme came in.

“Holly shit, baby sis, where are you going?” Em asked before anyone else could even say hello.

“Emmett!” Esme admonished him for his cursing.

So not fair, Bella gets away with swearing, Em thought and I smirked at him.

“To a funeral, Em,” Bella spoke slowly as if our bother were severely dim witted.

“You’re kidding me right? Who is going to let her leave the room in that?” Em questioned the rest of us as he gestured to Bella’s provocative attire.”

This is the teaser for ch 11. This scene is in Bella’s POV:

“Aspirin, a glass of water, jeans and a white t-shirt.

“I said, I didn’t need anything,” I told her and started to turn away.

“Yes, I have seen that you desperately need the Aspirin, so take it.” Her tone was harsh.

“No!” I knew I was acting like a petulant child, but it was what I needed to do to stay aloof and detached.

“Why are you making this so hard? Take the pills, Bella,” Alice repeated in a severe and loud tone.

“Fuck! Not so loud! Don’t take that tone with me, and why are you being a bitch?” I volleyed back at her.

“Excuse me? I’m trying to save you from a pounding migraine and you insult me? Take the pills or I will call Carlisle!” She looked menacing and stepped closer. I might not like it, but I knew that damned pixie vampire could overpower me and asking was just her way of humoring the human.”

“Alice-POV

I don’t know why I was so anxious, Esme gave me Bella’s number and I knew she was going to allow me to come over. I guess it was the formality of it all.

I dialed her cell number it rang, once, twice on the third ring she picked up.

“Hello,” she said she sounded horrible and sleepy.

 I guess I woke her up even though it was noon.

“Hi Bella, it’s Alice,” I chirped.

“I know it’s you, Alice. What do you want?” Her tone was weary.

“I wanted to know if I might be able to see you today? I could come over to your house?” I asked tentatively.

“Just you?” she pressed.

“Yes, just me. He knows not to come,” I informed her.

In my vision of this conversation using his name didn’t help. In fact, she would not let me come over at all. Beyond this phone call though I saw nothing.

“Okay, I’m sure you already know the address,” she said as if she really didn’t care.

“Thank you, Bella; I’ll see you in an hour or so?” No sooner did I finish my sentence than she hung up the phone. There was no “goodbye” or “see you soon.”

Maybe it’s because you never said goodbye to her four years ago? Only difference is she never thought she would see you again, I thought.”

I exited the stage and knew I would be seeing Edward soon. He just didn’t know when enough was enough. I would have to ask him if he had fun emotionally toying with me. I must have been distracted with my thoughts because when I went back to the dressing room with Lola and Liza, I suddenly heard Liza ask someone, “Who are you, gorgeous?” I hadn’t noticed anyone by the door.

I looked up, and standing before me was none other than Jacob Black.”

“Then, we went back to our incredible kiss. Just before it was time for me to catch my breath again, he pulled away. I mourned the loss of his lips instantly, and I’m sure my expression showed it because he said in between pants, “Sorry, love, but some of my family are home.”

Firstly, I had made him pant! He doesn’t even need to breathe, and I had him panting! I knew I was good, but hot damn, that gives a girl an ego boost. Secondly, my stomach dropped— the Cullens were home. They had seen me in a fairly bad state last night, and well, I didn’t know how to act. I’m sure they have a low opinion of me anyway. But I didn’t give a fuck, or so I told myself. Also, I didn’t want to see that judgmental demon pixie. I was still mad at Alice for being an overbearing bitch, and that had not changed. I could feel my back arching, and I fought to not turn into super bitch Bella, again—not yet anyway.”
