About Me:
I'm a wife, mother of two, and business owner who used to be a prospective whale biologist in Washington (not too far from the Olympic Peninsula--I can see Port Angeles from here on a clear day!). I met my then Stage Manager husband in the local theater while playing the role of a vampire (Dracula's Lucy) and my life was forever changed! Needless to say, drama comes naturally to both my kids, and they are the inspriation that keeps me moving. Reading, and now writing Twi-fic, is what's keeping me sane with the otherwise absolute lack of needed creativity in my life right now.
Despite having played a Vampire in a local production of "Dracula" I had not heard of "Twilight" until the movie came out. Go figure. My typical cuppa is Sci-Fi/Fantasy, not Romance and never before vamp fiction, so my RL friends and family find it histerical that this genre has sucked me in so deeply! :D I have a google search for "Best Twilight Fan Fiction" to thank for finding the fandom in the first place.
I came for the lemons, but have stayed for the creativity. And boy, am I glad I did!!!
I chose RosaBella as my penname over on ff dot net, because I have a classic look that strongly resembles Rosalie, I love working on my Mustang with my father (having rebuilt it with him awile back- and didn't mind smelling to high heaven of gasoline and gear oil for 6 straight weeks to do it), but am Bella to my core.

The tantalizing potential ways to link with canon are deliciously tantalizing. I love how you are making use of the cast and other details (like the boundary and treaty). So ominous. I'm guessing Bella has the potential to sheild things in a way the Volturi want, or is it that she has the potential to be the next Trinity (her, E and J?). Loving it! The familiarity of the characters is comforting, giving glimpses of potential, but is so totally fresh I am at a loss to predict anything. I ADORE that!
No, no ghost stories but generally feel like I do have a guardian angel (or several, lol)- I wouldn't be alive today, several times, if not for them.

I love that you love the unpredictability here. Poor Edward will have little input on what is happening in the afterlife. He's the token hottie to make it worth reading the "EbJ is such a weirdo" stuff. But I digress...
I'm totes with you on the Guardian angel thing, though I may have called them something else. I'm realy trying to touch on as many paranormal ideas as possible. Anything I've seen or read or heard and I want to twist it and make sense of it in this universe. Yeah...I have my own universe spinninng over here...:)

I was wondering if he was delerious or in an insane asylum dopped to the gills halucinating. Still think Alice is a manifestation of his subconscious. I'm guess the blond being pulled tightly to the side of the icky looking guy is Rose with Royce.
Basically I'm willing to passively accept the journey and see where it takes us.
Beautiful prose-like story. Achingly sad and equally full of loss and yearning. Intruiged at what is to come.

This was a very tender and completely authentic feeling variation on the usual. I love this insight into finding your soul mate IS your best friend, and not the guy you thought would catch your interest. So tender and poignant. Suited the contest to a T I would say! It stands alone very well, but almost wonder how they progress from here. Liked it so much my inner perv almost didn't even mind the lack of a full lemon that was so tantalizing. ;D Seriously though, I found myself entranced enough that it didn't matter, though I felt if you had included it, the event would have been sensual and tender and very well presented with the sensitivity it would deserve.

I hate making promises, given my limited time for writing these days, but in my heart I want to believe that at some point I'll write a follow up to this. I feel there's still more that I can share about these two. We'll see.
And I can't lie. The lack of full on lemon is part of what drives me to want to write more, in addition to the fact that there's more story to tell. If you've read any of my other work, you know that I'm a lemon writer, through and through. However, the contest didn't call for that, and I'm proud to say that I think the story was suffering without it. But I agree, it probably wouldn't have hurt to have it in there. ;)

So glad to have them back together and I liked how you covered the time in Volterra without torturing us by drawing it out. The forced feeding was powerful (sick and twisted like it should be) and made my own gut twist for him.
I'm guessing Aro let them "rescue" him since he was useless to him (and he probs secretly hopes they will fix him so he can have another shot at him).
Yummy reunion sex. He's so sad and she's so poingnant here too. Wondering if Charlie will have lightened up from seeing her fall apart worse from having E offically gone. Or if he'll hate E's guts even more. Probs the later. lol

Title: Chapter 14: Coax and Confess
He really is more of the 17 yo exploring emotions for the first time isn't he. Add in the addictive qualities/behaviors and this is what you get! Brilliant. He's really going to have to go all twelve step on his own ass.
I'm still wondering if Bella has gotten to love herself or if his abuse has gotten in the way. I think she probably loves him when he monster is absent, but is more 'distanced' from him (for lack of a better word) when the monster is raising his head. Very true to real life abusive monsters who are so dualistic in their behavior. Thing with him is I don't know if changing her into a vamp would really help all that much. The blood lust would be gone, but the insecurity would probably be worse because she really COULD leave him then. I'd think his jealousy might even get worse under such circumstances...at this point.
Eager to see where you take us on this wild ride! Such a well executed alternate look at what might have been!

Oh, yeah, knew Sammy had to show his metaphically horned little head at some point. He's a nice link to James...only worse. I found myself wanting E to take her home to his family to have the support he'd need to be who he wants to be. Now I want them there for the protection they'd offer. Hope that's what happens, but have a feeling I'd better tighten my seatbelt for this ride! ;D
