I wrote fan fiction from the fall of 2008 until the fall of 2009 and was very active in the fic community as a validation beta for Twilighted and avid reader myself. :) I cannot say enough how much I value the friends I made reading, writing, and squeeing over fic.
These days, I've turned my attention to publishing original fiction in contemporary and paranormal romance under the pen name Laura Kaye. I am the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of a dozen books (as of the spring of 2013). None of my published works are based fan fiction stories, and all the fan fiction stories originally published to Twilight or FF (writing as LauraACullen) remain posted. Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Red Like Human Blood
Oh, I hated him saying he was done. So horrible and final. I was a fan of the game playing to a point, but this Izzy/Bella is so angry or damaged that she can't see that her extremes aren't working in her favor, if she even understands what it is she's after in the first place. Interested in seeing Edward's POV on this.
Summary: Bella Swan has never been sexually satisfied by a man. After many one night stands and useless relationships, she has given up all hope that a man could pleasure her.
That is until one snowy night when Bella meets a mysterious, gorgeous man in a web cam chat room who convinces her he could change everything she knows about sex.

Thank you for not dragging out chapters and chapters of near misses. I like how this played out! Author's Response: Although the chapters are short and the action isn't fast paced, I try very hard not to purposely drag it out. I only do if other events need to play out that slow the action for a moment.

Hmmm...there's no way Bella's immediate reaction to seeing Edward again isn't going to be that he's only back out of obligation, etc. Interesting... Author's Response: Ah, there is still a "wrinkle" yet to be revealed that effects the whole tone of the story.
