Beta-reader:
I wrote fan fiction from the fall of 2008 until the fall of 2009 and was very active in the fic community as a validation beta for Twilighted and avid reader myself. :) I cannot say enough how much I value the friends I made reading, writing, and squeeing over fic.
These days, I've turned my attention to publishing original fiction in contemporary and paranormal romance under the pen name Laura Kaye. I am the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of a dozen books (as of the spring of 2013). None of my published works are based fan fiction stories, and all the fan fiction stories originally published to Twilight or FF (writing as LauraACullen) remain posted. Hope to see you around the interwebz! :)

Summary: A story about the ultimate threesome: Edward, Bella and Jake. They're all juniors in Forks in this AU-human take on things. The story's very NC-17 with Edward and Jake both bi, but it's not PWP - there's actual plot and a fair amount of angst, humor and even occasional fluff, as these three messed-up kids figure out their complicated three-way relationship. Don't be put off if you're not a Jake fan - this story's converted some diehard anti-Jake readers.

Title: Chapter 6: Breaking Down
"Let me carry your books and hold your hand Bella."
This is a lovely line after what came before. Really shows his emotional connection to her. That's what he wants.

Title: Chapter 13: Sunday
Your chapter note was funny there at the end! LOVED it. Hope they'll manage to find a way to make this work but also hope that Edward and Bella manage to keep up their relationship too. It seemed so important to them both before this happened.

Title: Chapter 14: Aftermath
I am sorta hoping that E and B eventually decide to be a couple who brings in an outside party. I am surprised that Bella seems so willing to redefine her relationship with Edward quite so much. Because being three distinct couples who sometimes all get together is going to be logistically and emotionally hard. Who are the primary loyalties going to be owed to? If they were adults and could simply all live together, that would be one thing. Interested to see how this plays out.

Title: Chapter 15: Shit Happens
Angry sex is good. I'm glad Edward is admitting he's not okay with Jake and Bella being together. He should say that. They had something special, it seemed, going before the threesome thing started. I don't see any reason why B and E can't remain primarily a couple that brings Jacob in to play. And if the three of them are okay with E and J getting together sometimes then fine.

Title: Chapter 16: Cunning Plans
No! I don't want Jake and Bella alone! I like the direction it's heading here! Loved the phone sex. And how Bella didn't seem to balk at the idea of anal sex...go Bella.

Title: Chapter 17: Bad News
I don't know how I feel about this chapter yet. On the one hand, there was probably something inevitable about them being this tempted by one another. On the other hand, Jake was a complete shit here. This was your AU equivalent to Jake guilting and manipulating Bella into kissing him in Eclipse. He accuses her of using him; he accuses her of being a racist and an elitist; he accuses her of never caring for him and thereby regards their years-long friendship. So he gets her as emotionally vulnerable as he can, and then, despite her saying no multiple times, he wears her down physically until she gives in. No, it's not rape. But her immediate reaction afterwards also reveals it's not entirely consensual. She didn't go there for that. She didn't want it to happen. She regrets it immediately afterwards. And she's the one with the most to lose in the situation--not Jake. She's right--she should've been stronger. She should've stood up to him more. But we all know canon Bella always had some sort of strange soft spot for Jake wherein she let him get away with pretty much anything and always made excuses for him that involved blaming herself for his inability to behave appropriately. That they're both planning to withhold this information is deplorable. Open relationships can never work without full honesty; I have a feeling they're about to learn that the hard way. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Title: Chapter 20: Crash and Burn
I'm not sure I'm loving that she went to Jake but maybe he is the best person to try to drag Edward back from the edge. I wanted her to fight for Edward more. It's kinda weak to have her fearing she's not good enough for him when it was her actions (well, I still think it was mostly JAKE's actions) that got her into the situation in the first place. Can't wait for the next...!

Title: Chapter 24: Heart to Heart
This was a nice chapter for a lot of reasons--but especially Edward's conversation with his family. Well done. Author's Response: Thanks - you're so good with reviewing and I've been so useless in reciprocating for your own stories, like The List, of course. Guilts! I'll make amends, but am glad you liked this.

Title: Chapter 25: Change
Now, you don't really think we missed those two references to the beat up black pick-up truck, do you??? So, James is back, no???? Author's Response: All will be revealed in a week. And there was me thinking I'd slipped them in sneakily!
Summary:
Bella has a chronic case of aquaphilia. Jacob attempts to dress her like an Indian. Emmett can’t keep his hands to himself, and oh, yeah, Edward loses the gentleman in him and plays the Peeping Tom. There's a guh-nome, too. Rated for dirty talk, liberated ladies, and oodles of bad behavior.
Note the NC-17 label. Just because the cover graphic is cute doesn't mean the story isn't kinky.

I have to admit, I had been resisting this story because, well, the summary just sounded sorta bizarre. But after this first chapter, I'm hooked. Ha! Hooked! I laughed out loud at least a half dozen times, and that's the mark of a story worth reading!
