Summary: This is a three part short story that is Jasper's point of view of Bella's 18th Birthday party. Read what the evening was like through Jasper's thirsty eyes.
We learn about his past as he struggles to forget the horrors that shaped him into the only Cullen who still struggles significantly with a day to day life of abstaining from human blood. Alice has tried for decades to help her husband abstain, but we all know that he eventually slips.
What caused him to finally break?
Jasper certainly never thought a paper cut would change his life or the lives of those around him so significantly. Set during New Moon.

Title: Chapter 2: Paper Cut - Part II
Wow. SM never really showed us how hard it was for them to be around her. She spoke of Edward's control, but not of the agony. You really explained a lot here. Poor Jasper Author's Response: I agree - that's why I chose to explore it a little more. I think he's a really underplayed character, so it was really great to get to explore him more. Glad you liked it!
