I'm disappointed that Edward expressed disapointment at her not losing the baby Author's Response: His disappointment is more about lost opportunity than the actual baby. He knows that the baby would provide something that Bella would never turn her back from. And he was happy for her. He did say that this was everything he had wished for, all the human experiences he wanted her to have.
