I never noticed before how he had progressively carried more and more weight. My humanity and his immortality; the call of my blood and his unending thirst; my insecurities and stubbornness; his desperation to keep me safe; my precipitous abandon towards all things dangerous; his sacrifice of his own feelings to protect me; the guilt of his abandonment; the consequences of my relationship with Jacob…every little thing further weighed him down. Edward takes Bella to the carnival for the first time in her life. They play games and he wins her a teddy bear. Bella thinks it would be fun to go see a gypsy palm reader; Edward thinks it’s not such a good idea because of Alice . Bella drags him to the tent and they are greeted by Lady Zafrina. Edward excuses himself and goes outside. Bella apologizes to the gypsy and says they will be right back. Once outside, Edward yells at Bella. The gypsy hears everything and invites them in, promising nothing bad will happen. Frustrated Edward goes in and sits down. The gypsy has a plan that will help these two “walk in each others shoes” to understand one another more then they will ever know. Some OOC after the switch.

My perception of what might have been going through Edwards head as Bella awoke as a vampire.

Bella is a sexual therapist with unusual methods that get results, but when she goes on sabbatical to write a book, Dr. Hale calls in a favor and sends her a new patient. When Edward, a shy, eclectic scientist and inventor who has social problems comes for counseling, Bella must put aside her training and follow her gut instincts to help him overcome his difficulties. But will she be able to maintain her professionalism and continue in her career in the face of her intense attraction.
