Summary:  
Bella and Edward have been pen pals (the traditional kind, pen and paper stuff) for over a decade, but they never met for reasons even they didn’t know. After fourteen years of “courting through the postal service” and not realizing it, Bella gets engaged to Emmett, a fellow lawyer at the prestigious firm of Ateara, Call, and Uley. They move fast, and a wedding is set for a mere four months after they get engaged. Bella invites Edward to the wedding, wanting to finally meet her longtime friend, and when things go sour the night of the rehearsal dinner, Bella, in her shock, ends up in Edward’s arms. And this is all just the tip of the iceberg for these two…

I'm really conflicted about Emmett. On the one hand, what a jerk for waiting until the very last second, family and friends have flown in and even rehearsal has gone through! And Cheating on her with her best friend is reprehensible! Then I think, thank God he didn't go through with it and ruin and complicate her life even more! As for Rose, there are no words. I could never be friends with her again. She could have at least tried to talk to Bella when Emmett first approached her instead of going behind her back! Something like, "hey, I don't think Emmett's the man for you, he's been sending me some signals that he's interested in me. Not like the kind of guy who's off the market!". At least that would've started a conversation!

I guess Bella is definitely going to be dealing with a lot of awkwardness and Edward is bound to get defensive. But if they both are sure and ready to be with one another, then it's no ones business but their own!

I can understand Charlie's trepidation, you always feel that need to shelter your children, even when they have the right to make their own decisions and mistakes.
