Oh, he's not as bad as he thinks he is! He has the decency to hate abuse of human beings and the realization that he isn't good enough for Isabella. Now, if she loves him and wants him, she will have to take the crap shoot and see what comes of it. Perhaps they will be enough for each other. If not, I think she can put him in his place! Author's Response: Definitely not as bad as he thinks he is, especially in comparison to James. Edward's never been one to maliciously hurt people, he just likes to do what he likes to do and that's that.
She's also quite capable of putting him in his place if she decides to do so. Of course, she is trapped a bit under his spell...

It seems that the encounter with Bella not only awoken his creative spark, but shined the light on his past behavior as well. Now he has to play a role to ameliorate who he wants to be with who he was. His first mistake seems to be thinking that Bella is going to react to things the same way as other women he has known in the past have. I wonder how long it's going to take him to figure out what he already knows-that she is cut from a different thread now? Author's Response: Hi there! Hmmm, first Edward must be losing his touch if Bella was actually able to walk out the door! Or Bella must be made of steel! And then, car stalker, could be James. Pissed that Bella was with Edward. Damn, this girl is like a cat, nine lives and all! Loses a leg, nearly mowed down by a maniac in a car, and now arson survivor! Let's hope the rest of her life can be drama free! So, Jane. Rejection being uncommon in Edward's life seems to have sparked some good and not so good tendencies in his personality! It appears that he needed to prove his manhood, and it didn't quite work out the way he expected! So, it's really funny how obsessed with Bella he is and how he works so hard to look like he just playing around! I'm sure that when he asked to paint Bella she was completely expecting him to ask her for something else. As for his relationship with his father, and his mother dying and leaving things so unsettled-well now we see how Edward learned his avoidance behavior. It's no wonder his inflated ego is so precarious. He doesn't seem to want to dwell on anything deeper, and Bella seems to have rocked his world of the "surface". So, who's at the door? Angela maybe? God, could he be any dumber? You don't run after the woman you want when she catches you with your pants open and someone's hands inside them! The only thing that could be said for Edward is he is of very weak character. What did he do afterward? Probably went back and found Lisa! What should he have done? I have too many sayings that start with Go and end up with yourself or off a cliff! How is he going to fix this? I can't wait to find out! Author's Response: Hi there! It's almost as if Edward's sexual boon has turned it's back on him and now he's the poster child for sexual Murphy's law-if anything can go wrong it will! First Bella catches him with Lauren, and now it looks as if he just finished with Jane. Add to this his tension about his paintings and his longing for all things Bella and Bella's seeming hatred for all things Edward and he doesn't know which end is up! I can't wait to see how the rest of Bella's visit goes. Will the leg self-combust when it touches Edward's hand? Will Edward ejaculate in his pants when he touches the leg?
