Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 15: Plans
It's good to have an update! Edward and Bella have made some progress with their relationship, but they still aren't completely honest with their communication! If edward wants Bella for a long term relationship, he can let her know that is what he is aiming for, instead of being afraid of scaring her off. And I think Bella feels the same way, but she's afraid that she and Jacob are a burden, or can't compare to his deceased family. I hope they figure it out soon, before insecurities force preemptive strike type moves!

Summary:
Bella Swan never thought she would return to Forks after leaving in 9th grade when her parents divorced. She remained in Arizona for college, medical school and residency, pushing herself towards an unknown goal. When she heard that Jacob had died in a motorcycle accident, Bella returned to Forks and to a world of old ties and new opportunities. The Cullen Retreat was recruiting for a new psychiatrist and Bella found herself accepting the job. Perhaps returning to her roots would be just the asylum Bella needed to find herself. But the founders of this mental health respite were quite a mystery to Bella and the people of Forks. And even though Edward seems to realize the way things look to her, he could definitely spend more than a quick sentence convincing her she has nothing to worry about! I mean, what's the rush? How is Bella ever going to figure him out if he keeps avoiding her like the plague? I do hope he will be at the dinner so that Bella can ogle him all she likes! Great job, I think I forgot that this was your first time, you had mentioned that when you first posted! You did exceptionally well, your story wasn't predictable at all and the characters had defined personalities! I'm looking forward to the epilogue, and your new stories too! Wow! I can't believe he's a psychiatrist! So, self examination? Or is that impossible to do objectively? He did seem to take Bella's words for the support she meant them! As for James, she's a lot braver than I would be!

Carlisle always wanted E to be the head doc, but he kept refusing to take it, knowing all the part time people, esp James, werent doing the best that could be done....until Bella ;)

You know it's even worse for Bella when everyone else around is getting their happy! Well, Bella should have known better! Her job is to be able to analyze people's mental state and Edward told her he wasn't ready for a relationship. Soooo, she's going to have to be patient and take his words as an admittance of guilt for something else. Now, as for when/how he gets in touch with her, hmmm, I'll leave that to you but I know that he seems to do what we least expect! Author's Response: SnowG!
Thanks for the comment! You're right, she should be able to see he is conflicted, but the problem with shrinks, analysts, therapists, etc, is that it's their own lives they have a hard time analyzing! The emotions are too raw! Also why a professional should never try and treat family....too much bias clouds the judgement....HAHA
(I promise that's not a jab! I have family and friends in the field....)
Bella is so confused by her unexplainable emotions AND the mystery that she cant think logically...
