Hey you, it's me! I'm a high-school student in Michigan; I read and write and draw and sing in my free time. Eight is my favorite number. I love Twilight, and also Harry Potter, and books written by Janet Evanovich, Sarra Manning and Stephen King. I use fanfic as a writing tool, as a kind of practice for character development; I AM writing a book right now; it's been a long time coming! Summary:
Alice Cullen has been having visions involving her brother, Edward, and his soul mate for the last five years and yet he refuses to believe her. Her last vision brings the Cullen's to Forks, Washington and Alice knows that the girl in her vision is there.
Bella Swan has been plagued with strange dreams and nightmares for the last five years, causing her to develop a small case of insomnia. She has grown tired of her friends and her boyfriend. She views her life as boring. Then the Cullen's arrive.
Edward wants Bella more than life itself. At first it was just her blood but now it is so much more. He knows he should leave but his family won't allow it. He wants to believe Alice when she tells him he won't hurt Bella, but the monster inside him says differently.

DUDE. Bella has, like, some serious issues.
Haha. It's good. For the most part, I love the writing.
Hopefully you don't have a problem with teeny-tiny criticisms, 'cause I only have one: Now, this is just me. But, if I were you, I'd have the Cullens using a few more contractions-- example, more "I'm"s instead of "I am"s. I get why you do that-- it makes them sound more old-fashioned. But it makes the sentences a bit blocky. Just a suggestion. That's really the only thing I'd do differently, though, it's a good story! :)

I take criticisms quite well, and I understand what you're saying. I actually have certain members speaking in different ways. I do that because of their "age", for the most part. For example, Carlisle and Edward would never use "I'm" in this story. To me, it just isn't right :D lol. Thank you, though :)

Summary: 
*Takes place during New Moon in an alternate universe.
On March 16, 2006, the World changed, and everything and anything that the Cullens ever cared about was lost. They had to find their own way in this New World. Edward never wished to exist in a world where Bella didn't. Unfortunately, his family desperately needed him, so he'd stay to help them. And by doing so, he hoped to redeem himself for his failure to save the one creature he couldn't protect.
With rumours in the South of humans feeding off the living and stealing people from their beds, the Cullens have a responsibility to protect the ones they can from those monsters in the night. This was Edward's last chance to fight for his soul and his salvation. He would finally be ready to face Judgement day and be deemed worthy enough to be with Bella once again. Or would something or someone change the path he was destined to go down? Faith, hope and love are powerful things, and Edward is about to find out just how powerful they are.
Yes... this is the story that is set during a post-apocalyptic nuclear war. Just try the Prologue to get a feel for it before passing judgment. You might be surprised. Warning: There is violence and disturbing images the further the story goes along.

Jasper rocks my world. I never really understood why I love that character so much, but he and Alice are by far my favorites in the series. You're doing him justice-- this was amazing. I hate stories that have him painted as cold and unemotional. You're not doing that, and it's great.
