Seth travels to Alaska to help Jake and Nessie settle in to their new home when they move away to attend school together.  A trip to the local corner store brings him face to face with Olivia, who suddenly becomes the centre of his world.

Unfortunately, things are not as cut and dry as they seem.  Olivia has been hurt in the past, and is having trouble moving on with her life.  She's in need of a gentle soul to help her heal, and Seth is her guy. But what happens when he is called to duty as a wolf by Jake to protect Nessie from a vicious vampire stalker hell-bent on making Nessie his own?

This is the story of how two people with hearts of gold find a way to love each other, while lost in a world full of people and other beings that don’t know the meaning of the word.
