Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

hehe I'm not so sure that Bella was all that insecure about Edward, as much as she just wasn't willing to "share" him yet at the family BBQ... at least, that could be a small part of what occurred to her :)
It's good to see them both getting things out in the open, and I did like Alice's 'I fail to see the problem' talk with Bella.

awww I'm so glad to see Bella and Edward get their HEA. Relieved that Bella realised she could get Carlisle to give her away too :)

woohoo the meeting is almost here! I'm a little concerned that she's left the car behind - seems a bit extreme but I guess that "pull" was just too damned strong to go the "slow" route ;)
Wonder if she's going to feel that Edward's worth it? lol Author's Response: Yea! I'm excited myself! And you're right...she just couldn't get there fast enough, and to Theda, it was worth leaving her car behind. Theda isn't certain exactly why she's going to Forks yet, so Edward is a bit of a mystery to her right now. Not for long, though!

hmm a bit repetitive but at least we've got EVERYONE'S reactions to Theda, and hers to the Cullens... now for the real story meat to get cooking? :) Author's Response: I knew I ran the risk if it getting irritating, but that's why I kept them on the short side. This is the only chapter like this, trust me. It was exhauating to write. And yes, it gets meatier...they have to talk sometime, especially now that they've met, right? LOL! geez Theda's history just got a whole lot more interesting - with the possibilities of all those memories on board, she hasn't just lived HER life, but several others at the very least as well! :)
Theda's lucky she appears to have met the Volturi before the rise of Jane & Alec, and Aro's more ambitiious Power-collection phase.
Wonder what's up next for Theda and Edward (and the Cullens in general, I guess hehe) Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! Yes, she was very lucky to have avoided Alec and Jane *shudders*. awesome chapter - Theda's so much better than Edward at the self-loathing; though in her case she's had a LOT more time to perfect and some real tragedies to feed the feeling :(
Jasper's thoughts about history in general are always amusing :) Author's Response: She does have some issues...but I think it's legitimate. Like you said, she's had some pretty terrible things happen. She's got some baggage, that's for sure. And I love me some Jasper, too...he's never used enough in fanfic. Interesting that they're dodging Edward's ability - I can just imagine the burst of embarassment that's likely to come off of Theda hehe
As for what she's about to do next, given that the Vision had her at the window with a raised hand, I'm guessing she's about to put said hand through it without breaking it... perhaps even walking completely through, depending how strong her gift actually IS.
Looking forward to finding out :) Author's Response: Edward isn't too anxious to let her know that he's a mind-reader...she's pretty confusing to him, and he's had some pretty new emotions and experiences since she's arrived. Well, new to him, anyway! Alice seemed to be having one of her little silent chats with him, so I bet we'll find out what that was about soon! geez... Edward's the king at beating himself up and devaluing himself - even after Theda has outlined her story with events like the village and the Speedwell, and he still doesn't realise that she's got more right to the dark feelings than he's ever had when comparing body counts :S
Looking forward to when he wakes up to that fact among other things hehe Author's Response: Edward is kind of a hypocrite, and definitely a martyr...he just doesn't see the situation the way we do. He sees himself as completely undeserving, while even his own family (namely Jasper) has had a hard lot dealt to them as well. *shakes head* At least Carlisle and Jasper were willing to try to talk to him at the end there. Thanks again for your lovely review, and I can't wait to hear what you think of the next chapter :-)

I was totally enjoying the four-way chess game and then the psuedo-cliffhanger hit :S
Things do not look good from that vision - though I'm hoping there's time to change that angle :) Author's Response: Alice's, and by extension, Theda's, visions are subjective...we'll find out more about what she saw in the next chapter! AWESOME! Although I may be biased in that I seem to enjoy any confrontation that has the Volturi running and Jane a smoking pile of ashes ;)
I didn't think Theda would run quite like that, I guess the turmoil inside her was more than anyone noticed from the outside, I'm somewhat familiar with pulling that trick - and usually need the alone time afterwards to "reset" :S Author's Response: I'm glad you liked Jane's very timely demise...she kind of had it coming, lol!
