Lovely chapter - Edward going through the supermarket apparently talking to himself while he shops was amusing. Maybe he should take one of those bluetooth earpiece things for phones with him? Although then he'll still have those moments where he would still appear to be looking AT someone to talk to them lol

Well firstly, I'm guessing the mechanic is Jacob :)

As for the touching briefly - I think they're both connected on a brain-wave level at the very least for him to be able to see her - and at that point in time he needed to touch her badly enough that all the right nerves sent the right signals between both of them :)

Tanya's a nurse at Edward's new job? That should be interesting... and Perhaps Bella's actually laying in one of the rooms there? That would be "provident" ;)

so... the park or the hospital, I wonder? hmmm

haha yeah I don't envy Edward there trying to tell the story of how they met and fell in love... although Bella's already acknowledging the love she feels for Edward and FROM Edward. No one else will have a memory of them meeting before the accident so pretty much any story will sound crazy even if it was just that Edward had been sitting talking to her whilst she lay there :)

ohh boy... is it wrong to be apprehensive about what Edward's planning for Bella's birthday? Just feels like whatever he tries to plan has a high risk of going horribly wrong... though that may be my current level of pessimism getting in the way. We'll see :)

ahh poor Jasper; not sure if Rose "knowing" about B&E is going to be a good or a bad thing in the long run... hmm

ah such a relief to see Bella figuring out the flowers finally, and even more than that she's got a response for Edward :)

It was also good to see Edward's realisation that the music therapy was just as cathartic for him as it was for Bella... after Jasper cleared some things up for him though :)

I had to chuckle at Edward's reaction to the flower... I can just imagine him double-taking to the flower, Bella's room... then getting there and being torn between wanting to wake her and wanting to let her rest (especially since he'd notice that she seems more peaceful than ever before at that stage)

wow err really didn't expect Bella to choose that strategy, I was thinking she'd go for a little more talking first.

I really hope Edward doesn't hold anything against Esme - I think she'll be doing that enough. Though I kind of like the idea of her telling Bella off at some point later for putting her in that position.

On the other side of things, Esme's really going to be Bella's "mother" through the venom at least ;)

It's certainly a slightly different strategy in trying to forget, I wonder what the Pack's response is going to be. Was Sam close enough to the house to "know" what happened?

I wonder too, if Bella had somehow kept her plan from Alice? Or did Alice know and decide it was the best of the available options at the time? That last doesn't seem "right" really... perhaps Sam being so close all the time kept that part of Bella's decisions obscure or unknown.

I'll keep an eye out for Damaged whenever you get around to it, sounds like there's much more important and happier things to be getting done in real life right now :) congrats, by the way!

whoa that was an intense chapter in the end! I'm not too fussed with Jacob being the bad guy for now, to be honest, but I do hope for an update soon because that blow had to leave a mark, and perhaps even a break given the strength the silly git would have put into it.

So instead of Bella flying to Alice etc, they'll be coming to her? Or at least Edward will show up?
