Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

Summary: Alice couldn’t see much of Bella’s future now. I had watched her try a few times this evening and she had been disturbed, even frightened by some of what she’d seen. But not frightened enough that she wouldn’t leave like Edward demanded. No, we were all going to leave. Some of us would just be kicking and screaming all the way to the airport. It was the only rebellion I would be allowed, for now.

Title: Chapter 5: Chapter 5
It'd be nice if Leia & Adam perhaps had a slowly building relationship throughout the story... the sort where they definitely like each other and know that the other reciprocates, but they're realistic in keeping certain elements unsaid for now.
Ideally, I think you're still really telling the story of Bella and Edward, using Leia as the medium rather than Bella, so whilst a relationship for Leia is possible, it's not really your driving aim from what I've read up to now. It's something that can be threaded through what happens from here on, but personally, I'd like her pairing to have it's own story following after the AU-books variation you've been sharing with us :)

You are the first reviewer to actually get why I'm writing these stories. :) Leia is, indeed, my way of writing the B/E romance from a different perspective. That's why I haven't changed up the storyline too much. Of course now that I've taken the love triangle dynamic out of the story, I'll have to add a different conflict. Then again, honestly, I might just do some plain old Cullen family fluff. :) I do, indeed, plan on writing a fifth story focused mainly on Leia after my BD-parallel fic.

hrm Leia's presence should make for some interesting differences in the response from Aro and his crew.
I'm guessing Jane will have twice the fun if she gets to zap Leia as well as Edward, perhaps?
ohh I wonder if it's possible for Leia's method of 'seeing' to foul up Aro's ability to completely read her... Edward can read her immediate thoughts, but not everything she's ever had just from the normal way his ability works - but perhaps the 'everything' part would somehow be patchy because of the mixed sources of Leia's vision - she's still having to figure out how to adapt to each individual person, so perhaps that changes her thought and memory processes just enough to be glitchy to Aro hehe just an idea anyways :)
Looking forward to what happens next :) Author's Response: The reactions are fairly the same, but there is one huge difference, which you will see in the next chapter. As for Aro, he never actually touches Leia. And its a good thing because some of her thoughts regarding Mr. Aro aren't very flattering. LOL. Just a hint, she refers to him as Dr. FrankenAro at one point. As for Jane...let's just say by the end of this part of the series, Leia and Jane aren't exactly going to be bosom buddies.

ahhh no... Leia's going to be needing Jasper's special skill - lathering her with the love the whole family has for her, and their forgiveness.
Guess the Volturi will have more than one reason to show up later on and cause the Cullens some stress. Author's Response: Yes, she's definitely going to need Jasper. :) As for the Volturi...lets just say Leia didn't make herself any friends in Volterra.

I'm so glad that Leia is feeling somewhat better after Carlisle has had a chance to talk with her.
Wonder how the rest of Forks is going to react to the Cullens' return! Author's Response: Yes, I'm so happy the family is reunited. I had such a hard time writing with them apart. Two more chapters to wrap up family matters and then its back to school. :)

aww only one more chapter? doesn't seem like enough time to get Leia and Adam back together... but I guess we'll see Victoria dealt with first, then maybe the next story will be L&A angst and future... alongside B&E's tale :)
Using Jasper's POV was a nice way of letting us know Leia's feelings for Adam and even for a little bit of Sarah's views as well... Jacob is potentially headed for the separate pack thing still, Adam being part of his, I'm guessing because that'll be more likely to allow him to develop something with Leia
Looking forward to it! Author's Response: :) You might be disappointed. I'm following timelines from SM's universe, so this book ends before Vicki gets her comeupence. Not to worry. Leia and Adam will see each other early on in the third installment and interesting things will happen. Vicki will get her just desserts and the Volturi will make an appearance. All major events will occur...just expect some alterations to the outcomes. :)

yeah Leia, that's "all" you have to worry about... although I'm a bit sad that she didn't think about Adam in that last paragraph; I guess everything else was too distracting.
I'm with Edward though, "Leia, go to sleep!" hehehe
Looking forward to part 3 :) Author's Response: Leia doesn't want to think about Adam when she's trying to be upbeat, because it makes her sad. Part three will be Leia and Adam's story, really, because by taking Jacob out of the picture, I've lost a lot of the B&E conflict in the story.
Summary: Summary: AU. A powerful group of humans know of the existence of vampires and werewolves and strict rules are in place for the uneasy coexistence between the three kinds. Transforming humans without tacit permission is banned and all violators and victims are ordered destroyed. Bella was attacked when she was eight years old but miraculously survived. Title: Chapter 11: Alice rules: No hitting
Edward's too acustomed to 'knowing' everything about people he's interacting with, and bases his whole behaviour with others on it. So I guess Bella really freaks him out, and where Alice finds the blocking of her ability somewhat amusing and as an exciting curiosity, Edward reacts the way he knows how, with agression. I just hope he learns better over time :)
Lovely place to close the chapter... now we'll have to wait and see how Bella handles what's presumably the final stages of her changing hehe :)

Title: Chapter 15: Mates
I've been finding that I'm really struggling to like this Edward... and really only barely understanding his actions - he's so incredibly, and ultimately stupidly, stubborn about his methods and continues to underestimate Bella.
Worse than that even, he undervalues her - I just wonder what it will take for him to wake up a bit and realise that he can get what he wants a lot faster, and with less grief, if he actually communicates with Bella. If he can just try to interact normally with her - although that's asking the impossible it seems, given that he's spent 50yrs with his interactions with anyone being anything BUT normal (even for a mind-reading vampire, apparently) :S

Bella is a twenty five year old woman with her own thoughts, opinions, and history. She meets a mysterious pale stranger in the library, and chemistry brings the two together. But with a murderer in the streets on Seattle, nothing can come easily. Alternate reality.

err i think i'm jealous of the porch with aromas of rain and wild mint now :S
It was great to see Bella and Alice connecting like that, and Edward and Bella getting some alone time at the end... more than a little concerned that Edward doesn't seem to know about the letters or be trying to do anything more on that front - but I guess it's part of the plot. I just hope it doesn't add up to Edward pulling a runner as in the books :(

lol umm... I happen to like most of R&H's work so it's not really a threat unless you're talking about being so badly out of tune the animals run and hide? ;)
The chapter was very cute opening with Bella's "dream" hehe can't wait to see how Rose handles the move with Bella :)
Summary: A long and tiresome journey and a wrongly booked ticket later, Bella Swan finds herself sitting next to renowned actor Edward Cullen and learns that whether flying coach or first class, karma gets her way.
Exerpt:
“Well… that’s embarrassing.” I looked up in the direction of the male voice that was responsible for the comment and nearly died. Nearly. Instead, I shrieked and flung my glass of champagne right in the lap of the owner. I was clearly hallucinating, because the man sitting next to me could not possibly be… I closed my eyes and opened them again. But he was still there a slightly uncomfortable look on his beautiful face as he retrieved my glass from his lap and inspected the damage to his trousers.
“This is a new reaction,” he mumbled all the while I gaped at him and glanced at the magazine checking whether he had jumped out of it. But Edward Cullen was still gazing at me from the page, his eyes hypnotising and in addition the exact - slightly displeased - replica (with perhaps a bit more facial hair, and clothes) was undeniably sitting in the chair next to me.
“I’m so sorry!” I finally managed to croak out when I remembered how to speak. Before I could thoroughly think it through I grabbed a napkin from my backpack and dove to dab his pants. He was not the only one who jumped up as my hand came into contact with his crotch.
“I got it,” he said louder than I had heard him speak so far. For a moment he cast me an exasperated look and I almost felt the need to ensure him I was not trying to feel him up. He held up his hand as a stop sign and snatched the napkin from my hand, still hovering over him. I wasn’t sure whether he was mad or embarrassed. I was too busy trying to sink through my chair in shame.
