Mid-30s guy with an addiction for fan fiction presently, and a slew of unfinished writing in my file cabinet and computer that I never seem to manage to complete full stories. Plots and bits and pieces, sure, but start-to-finish stories still elude me.
Aside from that I'm always over-thinking things, have a science background but love my fiction books... and I guess I'm a twi-guy being here as much as I am lately :S (I own the series and The Host as well). Also a fan of David Eddings and Clive Cussler.
Just starting an Education degree that'll eventually send me out to Middle and Secondary schools to teach math and science (mostly biology, probably).
Oh and my friends just gave me an Edward doll from the Barbie range (he sparkles! lol they didn't realise it at the time either) My Twi-diction is kind of a running joke for them, but their nice enough about it :)

Summary: 
Edward Masen has lived the life of a nomadic vampire, travelling with James and Victoria since he awoke as an immortal. His ability to read minds has had the unusual side effect of making him a vampire with a conscience. Despite the ridicule from his coven mates, he's confident he's making the best of his existence and doing what's morally right... until he stumbles upon a brown-eyed girl reading in a meadow in Forks. As he attempts to befriend her and learns more about the sleepy town of Forks, Edward finds there's a lot more to being a vampire than he ever thought possible.

I don't know exactly why, but I do enjoy when Bella's standing firm against the Pack or Edward etc. The "science experiment" was fun, though I was waiting for someone to suggest there needed to be a number of attempts for "statistical reliability" hehe
It seems Bella was finally putting a few things together at the end there, just wondering where Edward's running her to for help?
Oh, and NO ONE from the Pack offered to lead her back to the car knowing what her history was like? I mean, they were making fun of it before, and they just allowed it to happen? sigh :P

ohhh Edward was perhaps around when James was "hunting" Alice?! Or read the information from his head afterwards?
hmmm...
I don't trust that James and Victoria are as "in the dark" as Edward thinks/hopes about Bella... and for that matter, I wonder is Bella going to be making it through this current crisis human?
Looking forward to the wolves' reactions when they realise Bella's been hurt and catch the vampire scent. Sure they'll jump to the wrong conclusion to begin with, but I'm curious to see if any of them feel guilty when they discover the truth.

interesting chapter for all involved except maybe poor Bella who has to sleep through it all. I do wonder if she heard much before everyone left the room though :)
Looking forward to Edward's hunting experience, and it seems there's something different about your Carlisle & Rosalie at the very least too. Very interested to see what's happening(-ed) there :)
Author's Response: Bella will get her piece in the next chapter :) I figured it was important that she and Edward talk alone.

Title: Chapter 17: Playful
hmm Edward's "joke" at the beginning was so bad! I was really starting to worry you were going to delay the "talk" even longer! :P So glad Bella's got her "truth" now.
Though I'm surprised no one seems to have taken Jake to task for putting Bella in a position to be injured so seriously.
As for the future, I do tend to enjoy B&E as parents, but I've been happy with stories where they aren't , and ones where the kids end up human, so if something looks like its going to "fit", then Im all for it :)
Author's Response: Yes, he's mean isn't he? It was done out of affection, though, so that makes it okay :P No more delaying the talk, if I did, we'd be at chapter 50 before anything good happened :P
I suppose they all see it kind of as an accident, where no one is directly at fault. Bella didn't need to storm off. Jake and his pack shouldn't have abandoned her, etc. Who made the worst mistake? Hard to know and trying to place blame is just asking for more trouble, and no one wants to start another fight.
Okay, good to know, you're open to either baby or no :) It's nice to have a few people who aren't diehard one way or another! :P

great long chapter there!! SO much information for Edward to get through :)
It's both cute and a relief that Edward's so nervous about Bella being around the Cullens and Denali's, yet at the same wanting to make sure she makes her own decisions :)
Author's Response: Yep :) One thing I wanted this version of Edward was to be aware of Bella's freedom to choose what she wants, when it comes to being with him, being a vampire, etc. He might not love her choices... but being with James and Victoria, he's often felt stonewalled. So I didn't think it was something he could do to Bella, having experienced how much it sucks. Besides, canon Edward's controlling tendencies irked me a little. I love him, but he needed to loosen up :P

Summary: 
Lizzie Black left La Push the moment she turned 18, determined to outrun the pain that she felt after her Dad and siblings were hit straight on by a drunk driver and killed. Three years later she's returned, having been called home after her mother committed suicide. While packing up her Mom's room she finds her bucket list, along wth letters to Edward. She decides to do all of the things on the list her Mom never got to, finishing it for her.
Edward Cullen has lived as a nomad since he left Bella. His family and he have little contact, but that could be about to change. Who knew one little list could mean so much?

Well it's looking like Lizzie's going to have a chore of making her own "stamp" on the Cullens, they're all stuck on the little things that make her Jake & Bella's daughter, as well as the pain, of course.
I wonder how the interaction with Esme is going to go though, for a girl that's just lost her mother (more or less) Author's Response: Yeah, Lizzie isn't the type of girl to be compared easily. She'll make her stamp, don't you worry.

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter 7-Sundaes and Transvestites
well that was certainly fun and fluffier than last chapter. Jackson would make quite the interesting Frank N Furter. Though I think Edward being comfortable enough to get into it as well was even better.
I hope the handful of "false alarms" in this chapter doesn't slow the Cullens' reaction times down much when they're trying to determine how real a scream is, or a request for help (from overly amorous partners) heheh
Love Rocky Horror - I've done the Frank N Furter outfit for Halloween at a friend's party - most of the people there know me as quite the conservative dresser, so to see me do something so completely off the wall was umm eye-opening (much to their dismay at times? lol) :) The following year I was given several "requests" to wear more clothes though :S

wow Edward went both further than I expected, and not as far as I was prepared for, err... that doesn't make any real sense except to say that Edward was fusing the "wronged husband" and vampire really strongly there :)
It's interesting that he can hear the other voice in Sebastian's head... I wonder what that might mean for future interactions (aside from the possessive-aggression already there hehe)

Maybe they should introduce JP to Tanya? lol Though I can't recall what you've done with her in this fic so I might have to revise that statement after I go back re-read?
Looking forward to what Bella has planned - sounds like it's going to be really fun for all of us, maybe not so much for Sebastian and his demons? ;)
